thank you so much for this humourous post – i got a kick out of everyone’s responses! I think both designers did a fabulous job, and i’m totally up in the air about which one to pick!! ahhh!! i’m also thinking of delving into the digi version for next year… but not sure yet. i love the binders and that you can add extra “stuff” a la Ali Edwards, but they’re soooo bulky. and i feel like it would be easier to keep up with a digi version. still deciding.

Not only am I in love with your products but I am in love with We Are Memory Keepers albums. I know that I am not able to return the two “original” albums that I purchased last year and I am going to buy the new version but would you be interested in giving the two that I have away to someone? Woohoo! Thanks Becky for making me famous. Ha ha. 2nd time you’ve put my comment up. As I said I thought I would burst and I did. It has taking me a while of planning in my head of how I am going to get stuck into this and use your products. I love hearing how everyone is going to use theirs. I am currently just about to finish our family 2010 digital album, then I’m going to get onto our 2011 digital album. I love it.
So my plans are to 1. contiunue a digital family album every year for everything we do as a family whether it be at home, out and about, holidays and birthdays etc. 2. Do a 365 project life every day album in the Clementine for 2012 and 3. start an album each for both of my boys in the Cobalt which may take 2-3 years for each album to fill of everything that is special for them and the things they do. This plan is workable and very achievable. I don’t want to be overwhelmed and then not do anything.

This was such a fun post to read Becky, I love reading how exciting everyone was. To me Project Life is the only gift I want each year, a perfect present to me from me. I love love them both and can’t wait to get them. For now though the free download is so sweet of you and will hopefully keep me calm till I get that big white box in the fall. Hello Becky!! First let me say that i love the Cobalt!!! And thanks for the freebies!!!
I just wanted to share with you something that Project Life has done for me….I’m doing this daily, and this year has been overwhelmingly busy for me so i take pictures daily and then play catchup every couple of months…and for now that works for me….and i am glad that i am still atleast keeping up with the pictures…..but today, after the first week of school one of my twins came home with a bill for a library book that my dog chewed up last year. She was upset because she wasn’t allowed to check out a book because of this…but i remember paying for that book on the last day of school….and it just so happens that i kept the receipt to put it into my project life!! so i went thru my kit and there it was!!! so if it wasnt for project life, i would have had to pay for the book again, which of course isnt that expensive or anything, but the point is that because i am documenting my family’s daily life, i held on to that receipt. and i knew exactly where to look for it
Wow! That’s totally awesome! Knowing me I’d just pay it again. lol

I think the most wonderful thing about Project Life is that it speaks our truth…….And there is no greater gift than that.

I was wondering if you might consider expanding the template options for the digital versions? I am thinking maybe something like the new custom path books that shutterfly offers only with these beautiful designs? I know that you can drag photo boxes to create full page photos, etc. but I would love other drag and drop layouts for creating family year books, or even photo gift books for the grandmas and grandpas.
I have pre ordered both core kits & binders, with my pre order of the page protectors I am set…now I just have to wait patiently!
The downloads don’t seem to be working. Very excited to have them — will try back again later.

I also have a question for you which I hope you can address here on your blog or else email a response to me. My husband & I are purchasing our dream home & I’m starting to put design ideas together. I LOVE what I see of your decorating style, it seems like you aren’t afraid to mix things up! Am I correct in assuming you mix all types & colors of wood (furniture) and any color goes (decorating)? Your home seems bright & cheerful & welcoming and that is the goal for mine as well. I’ve always been afraid of mixing & matching like that & thought I needed a specific color scheme but you make it seems easy to have a little of everything & make it look amazing!
PS–would LOVE to see more pics of your home & decorting style!

Hahaha! I was reading through the response and thought, “that response totally sounds like something I’d say” (I say “oh my gosh gravy” or “oh my gracious gravy” all the time). Um, that would be because it *was* something I said. I think I laughed so hard at myself, I snorted.
