I found a wooden LIFE sign months ago. I got it because I could totally picture it in our home office with little letters that spell PROJECT right above it. And then … I found those little letters at Hobby Lobby! And of course I would be painting them white.
Naturally, with the gloves on and the spray paint out, I wanted to spray something else as well. Something I’ve really been wanting to make white for a while.
Everything was painted and ready to finalize. And the letters sat around for weeks, waiting for me to prioritize hanging them.
Until today. The letters are hung (with my favorite hanging velcro ever; I talked about it in detail here) and the project is no longer on my to-do list. It’s done.
“Project Life” is not only the heart of our company and what we DO, but it’s so much about what I BELIEVE … which is … that we should cultivate a good life and record it. Those 3 pictures of each time we had a new addition in our family, represent why I do what I do on a personal level.

Very Cute and much better white for the letters!
I love that giant “LIFE” sign. Displayed in your office, the whole display looks great! I remember years ago I saw in a magazine or idea book your idea for photographing your babies feet. I always wanted to do that, but I just didn’t have the right camera.
It is fun to see how you added each additional child to the picture. I like that you didn’t do individual feet shots for this frame. What a fun addition to your office.
Becky – I have the Life sign too! Ordered it from Gardner Mill after you posted a few months ago. The white letters look great with it. Thanks for all your ideas!
That looks awesome Becky & love the frame…it completes your display!
You need to learn about kearning, my friend. It is the proper spacing of letters. Re-space the Project letters and this will look fabulous (more important that the letters are properly spaced than that they are the same length as the Life sign).
Hey–if Becky likes it, it’s her project! From one nit-picker to another, you might want to look up the spelling on kerning…
(for the record, I’m being totally playful here!)
I love the display Becky! Makes me want to finish my wall in my craft room! thanks for the inspriation!
I relooked at the photo after reading the comment about kerning… And suddenly the noun project {proj-ekt, -ikt} spun into the verb {v. pruh-jekt}
Project LIFE – live out loud – inspire others.
The two word combo is a powerful message whether ‘project’ is a noun or a verb!
I love this and the picture next to it. Thank you Becky for inspiring us with this great album. I love mine everyday and it would be all I need besides family in this world.
Becky, your project life letters are beautiful, but thank you most for showing a close up of those three darling additions!
Nice display..looks sharp! …says Becky all over!
Love the letters, but I have to say the feet picture collage might be the cutest I have ever seen!!! So jealous I didn’t do that with mine!! I have 5 boys and think that would have been amazing to have!
I love how “life” is bigger than “project”. Puts in perspective.
