I have 2 adult children (my son is 30, my daughter is 28). When they were babies they loved to get a body massage with baby oil along with their mami singing. As they got a bit older, we all went to our neighborhood library every day, rain, snow or sunshine. It was a cozy little nook with lots of books (even though they were not old enough to read! ;) Now I am an abuela (grandma), my son and his wife read to my little Daniel every day (he is 6 months old). They tell me that he loves it and it seems to sooth and relax him. I presented Daniel with a book which I recorded myself reading the story for him. My daughter, my son's wife and I are teachers and my son is a child phsycologist. Our homes have more books and photos than any thing else. Memories that will last forever!

Nicole, Whitmore Lake, MI

I love taking my daughter in the jogging stroller for a little run (sometimes a half walk/half run because pushing a jogging stroller with a 3 year old in it is hard work!) after work. It's a double workout when you have to push the stroller! Near the end she gets out and we "race" the last little straight away before getting home. She also stretches with me after & asks why mommy runs and why mommy stretches. We have had lots of good little talks about being healthy and exercising because she sees mommy trying to be healthy. It is definitely hard to fit this in with working full time but if we make it mommy/daughter time it makes it a little bit easier.
