monday housekeeping

A few housekeeping items for this beautiful Monday:

{ holiday cards }

It’s on a lot of your minds. And if it wasn’t already, it probably is now (sorry?). I just wanted to let you know that we’ll have FREE holiday card templates on the website this week. I’ll blog about it when they’re up. See what happens when you follow my blog? You don’t miss anything exciting.  ; )

{ thank you }

The messages and happy wishes and notes of gratitude for David are very much appreciated. That was really cool of you guys, thank you. He had a great birthday and is loving his new smoker grill. Dinner last night was soooo good.

{ winner }

I’m pleased to announce the randomly selected winner of The TomKat Studio giveaway. Congrats to Michelle Stohlmann in Ashland, Nebraska! Michelle, go ahead and email Toni at the TomKat Studio and she’ll hook you up with your goodies!

{ another winner }

Remember when I did that big giveaway of all that stuff we hauled home from The Creative Connection? Well, I announced Tami L. in Trabuco Canyon, California as the winner in the very next blog post. But guess what? No word from Tami. I wonder if she missed that announcement? Tami – if you’re reading this – please email customerservice@beckyhiggins.com by Wednesday. If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll randomly select another winner.

{ your project life questions }

Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock, you know that we just released a slew of new products on Amazon.com over the weekend. Hooray! I posted this video to review all the products that we have available now, and mentioned that if you had questions, go ahead and ask. This is just a reminder to let you know that I did my best to address every question that was asked and I’ll try to get through even more questions that came in yesterday. You may be interested in that Q+A in the the Comments of that blog post. A lot of great questions!

{ project life glamour shots }

You’ve seen this rotating collection of happy customers, right? So fun! There is no longer the “big white box” but rather the small white box and a whole bunch of white packaging for all of our products. Let’s keep the Project Life glamour shots tradition alive. So many of you will soon be receiving your Project Life products – as early as today/tomorrow – and this will continue on for weeks and weeks. When you receive your products, have someone snap a picture of you with your products and email those to projectlife@beckyhiggins.com. We would LOVE to see these, and update that part of our website with your new pictures!

    I asked one of the Moms of the Trick or Treator if I could take a photo of her adorable little princess, she asked was I a photographer…to which I replied, no–I’m a Project Lifer….and this is all a part of my life’s project….Happy Halloween.

  5. WOW Becky.. I ordered my protectors on Saturday and received them in the mail on Monday…what service!

    Here is an odd, out of the blue thing…

    I was making your pancakes the other day (our new family fave) and thought…hmmmm Becky hasn’t posted a new recipe since June! I know you are always busy, but I’d love to see a new recipe soon!

    I can’t wait to receive my PL goodies.

    Also, on the Project Life front – many thanks for the large page pockets.

    Being Canadian, our school system here includes 2 years for Kindergarten (Junior and Senior), and let me tell you, my envelope from the school kit of yours from CK days for my two oldest kiddos is stretched to the brim for that year. So excited to get extra envelopes that I can make it work a bit better!

    Also, this is just a fantastic idea for any album. I have a bunch of “stuff” from when my twin boys were in the NICU – all the monitor wires, papers, etc. I also kept one each of their preemie onesies (to remember that YES they did once fit into those teensie tiny things and they were both huge on them!) and their miniature hats and with all this stuff being so bulky, it certainly will work better in the pockets than regular page protectors.

    Thanks for listening to our suggestions! Have a great day!

    Hey there Becky :) I will be placing my plastics order today!!

    I was wondering if you have available a pdf of all your “cultivating a good life” advice.
    I would love to have that. (I should have noted each one as I read them.)

    Thanks for all you do and all of your inspiration.
    Enjoy the day.

    ~Tracy

    When will the NEW core Kits be available for purchase? I skimmed through posts looking, and may have missed when they will be available for purchase?!? Can’t wait!! :)

  9. Hi Becky, This will be my 2nd time purchasing the Project Life kit. I have never been a scrapbooker but your album has made it so easy for me to have a complete album for the first time. THANK YOU for such a wonderful product!!!
    I am sure that you have already answered this question somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it. I have the core kit already, and the cardstock, but I would like to know how many pocket pages came in the kit last year? I am just try to figure out how many I need to order now to get started on the 2nd album?? Thanks so much!!!

    Hi Becky–I love that you are doing the free Christmas Card Templates again. I’m guessing you plan to update them to say 2011 instead of 2010. :) Here’s a teeny tiny request . . . if it’s possible, could you do a second version and change the wording from “Happy Holidays” to “Merry Christmas” on the first one, with multi-colored letters (basic brown-ish background)? I really like to wish my friends and family a Merry Christmas rather than a generic holiday thing. If it’s more re-designing than you are after this year, I totally understand. I know you already have some that say “Merry Christmas” which is great. I just happen to like the brown-ish, multi-colored lettering design for our pictures this year.

    I’m here I’m here….. I sent you an e-mail with my address. Can’t wait to see all the goodies I won!!! Tami L.

  12. Nita says:

    Hey Becky! I’ve really been holding out for the Clementine group in PL. Are you telling me that it’s not going to be available until 2012???
    Just N-e-E-D to know! (Okay, not really a need, more like a want, wish and desire!)
    Thanks for letting me know!
