I have pre-ordered quite a lot of your Project Life product, the plan being that I can now go back and do Project Life style albums for all of my old photos, as well as make albums for my two kids who are now 13 and 14 years old.
I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel so far as my scrapbooking (or lack of it lately) is concerned. Some day soon all my photos are going to be in albums and journalled. Yippee !!!

Just a thank you for continuing with this philosophy and seeing it to fruition. I admit that I have not done Project Life in 2 years now. Life got in the way especially with a downturn of my parents’ health.
Just yesterday, I started scrapbooking again and since I had Christmas 2009 out, decided to finish it. I couldn’t remember the details anymore. Project Life to the rescue! I looked at that album and the stories came back, the memories rushed back! And I am amazed! Why did I stop?
I have your products in my SB closet for both 2010 and 2011. And so, I am committing to doing those – maybe in monthly highlights format. Getting it down on paper is essential….

Thank you so much for these products! I have the Turquoise kit for this year, had a hectic summer and didn’t always get a photo taken every day, but was still able to capture the important events for us. I love that I don’t feel stressed about having to take a picture each day – I have some two-page spreads that cover 3 weeks instead of just one, but it’s the highlights of those weeks. I’m looking forward to the new kits, think I may get the Cobalt this time. I also have to say that I’m a die-hard digi-scrapper, but really like having the paper version for this project, I love flipping through the pages to see how our year is progressing. I don’t know if I could wait a whole year for a digital book to be completed! Thanks again for all your hard work and sleepless nights these past few years!!

Oh my Becky, when you said the Fed Ex guy was there and you has another 2 boxes in front of you my heart leapt..yep, it leapt. I CAN’T wait to get the Clementine Kit. My verision of Project Life is a month by month in review album and I can’t tell you and your blog readers how much I love those albums. I have been doing them since 2006 and they are by far my FAVORITE albums. Just the other month my DD (age 14) asked me to never stop doing them. You can’t ask for anything better than that!

About the divided photo pocket pages: Are these improved quality over the ones last year? Also, if they come in packs of 12 am I right in thinking that 6 packs would be enough for 365 days?

she said they would come early next year I believe, along with additional photo pocket pages, big envelopes, and the new albums (those might come before 2012 I believe.)

Thank you so much for sharing with us. You are so adorable, love your face when you are scanning through the Clementine paper-PRICELESS! I also love that kit. I am going to order the clementine, cobalt, and Amber core kit. My plan is to use Cobalt for some of my son’s older scrapbook stuff that is not caught up on and either the Amber or Clementine for my daughter’s not caught up on stuff and then use the other one for our 2012 album.
I do have one question for you. Why does the Cobalt edition have a title cared with 2012 on it? I can always use another card or put something else there, but for those that are not using it for the year 2012 is there an alternate card or is it reversable? No complaining here, love the product, I was just wondering? It doesn’t look like the Clementine one was 2012 on it (,unless I missed it, and I don’t have my glasses on so I might have.)
I have been using the turquoise kit this year and I LOVE it. I started out doing a picture a day but there have been some days with no photos and one or two weeks with no photos due to broken cameras, but that is what I love about this product, you can step away for a day, or week, or whatever and just add when you can. You are so fabulous for designing this, it really takes the pressure off and I still feel like I can do traditional scrapbooking if I want to, but if I don’t have the time, my families memories are preserved, and that is what is most important. It doesn’t matter if we have perfect scrapbook pages, elaborate designs, and expensive layouts, it is about preserving those memories and writing about it. I can’t wait until the other 2 kits are available next month, and I am also looking forward to some of the additional pocket pages, dividers (love those!!!) and of course the pocket pages (genius-Becki)

I would love to see how you used it for a monthly format. My children also love their albums and are really enjoying our 2011 project life family album. I have two children (ages 8 and 11) and their albums are mostly caught up, but I have two years while my husband was deployed (2002-2004) when I barely had time to add anything to their albums and I want to use project life to get those years completed for both of them. If you wouldn’t mine sharing I would love to see what you have or any suggestions.

I comment on almost all of your video posts that I teared up watching the video, and this one is no different! However, I think I FINALLY figured out why…it’s a combination of the joy on your face and the music you select (particularly the song in this video)…it’s very obvious to me how much you love your product. I think it’s so cool that we get to see your vision for this project coming to life…and even though I don’t know you, it makes me feel connected to you, because I see how it’s improving my life as well!

Becky, you mentioned better quality page protectors (which is good because last year I had several rip)—are the Design A and B page protectors on Amazon right now the OLD ones or the NEW ones? In other words, are they the “better quality” page protectors?
OMGosh I’m so excited!!! I just purchased my 1st ever project life. I bought the turquoise edition because my birthday was Saturday and I just got myself my present. I’ve been waiting and waiting!!! I am a newbie to PL…have been waiting for the core kits to come out for months
I happened to stumble on to thei idea through Ali Edwards’s website as I try to jump into digi scrapbooking. I got so excited and started researching all over the place for PL and sadly discovered that the kits were no longer available BUT through contiuned research discovered you were bringing them back and then some.
I just ordered the turquoise edition today and can’t wait to get it…I feel like not having these core kits has been “keeping” me from doing any work (just a lazy excuse I know)…I have been taking pictures but I feel like I will finally be able to get items in to my album. I cna’t wait dor the new items to come out as well and will be stocking up on kits for sure!

So bummed! I wanted to watch the video but cannot due to some music copyright issues! My husband is assigned to an Army post in Germany and we miss out on alot of stuff. Hi Becky, I just ordered the Amber Kit and I can’t wait to get it. I have been so overwhelmed by falling behind on my scrapbooking. Thank you for the solution to my problem. I will no longer leave packets of pictures just sitting around waiting to be put on scrapbook pages. I feel like I can finally get caught up with my albums using this kit. I met you in Chicago years ago at CHA and you were such a warm, friendly person with a beautiful smile. I remember you standing for long periods of time just taking pictures with everyone who asked (and there were lots of us!). You deserve all your success!

Sitting here doing the math on what it would cost me to get what used to be in the full kit — and then I went back and re-read your post on why you split it up and you mention the cost being a reason. Therefore I’m totally confused!
What I’m figuring is 12.99 for a binder (though I imagine the new and improved version might be more than that) plus 24.99 for a core kit, plus 5 packs of page protectors to do a whole year which would be 34.95. So all together (and that’s not even including the cardstock or month inserts) it comes to 72.93. So way more than it used to be…and for less stuff.
So confused…and disappointed.
I save and save for this every year (money is tight but I LOVE these kits). There is absolutely no way that I can justify spending this money on the kit this year.
Sigh — I’ve been so looking forward to seeing these back up on Amazon and now I’m just talking myself down and realizing that I won’t be doing Project Life anymore. Sad, sad day.

I have done project life for 3 years at the end of this year and I love everything about it. Every album has a few gaps where I didnt get a photo for that day, but that doesnt bother me. Just wanted to encourage those of you who ordered already. I ordered at 9:00 am on Wednesday (central time) with 2 day shipping and Amazon said the product was in stock but wouldn’t be delivered until 10/12 (over a week!). But last night at 7:30 pm I got an email saying it had shipped and would be here on Friday (2 days from order date). YAY YAY! So don’t get too worried if that happens to you, it will probably get to you earlier than they originally claimed.

Becky, I just finally finished my original 2009 Project Life today (odds and ends that I never got into the album) and I am on the verge of being done with 2010. I already have the turquoise edition waiting for me and seeing it in your video just now got me excited to dive into 2011 (not to mention the previews have me on the edge of my seat to buy stuff for next year and try yet again to keep it up to date!).

Becky – I’m so excited! This is my first year doing PL and I lovelovelove it! It is the most reached out album that my kids grab when they want to see my scrapbooks. We call it the “Family Scrapbook” because me, my kids and my husband all take turns writing/jotting down notes to insert into the album. Often my kids will want to save something (a good quiz they did great on, a picture of themselves or some cool graphic on a favorite magazine) and say “Mommy, can we put this in the Family Scrapbook?” And yes, I was squealing with delight when you showed the new products! Thanks for being so awesome!
