The wait is almost over. The Project Life Core Kits (Amber + Turquoise Editions), Project Life Cardstock (Amber + Turquoise Collections), and Journaling Cards (box of 100 3×4 grid cards) are expected to arrive at Amazon this week! Just wanted to give you that heads-up. As soon as they become available, I will let you know right here on my blog … and I have a video to go along with the product releases as well.
As a reminder – All of the new Photo Pocket Pages, Big Envelope Pages, and the NEW Cobalt and Clementine Editions of Project Life are all coming as well. The stuff arrives in a few batches throughout the next couple months. As always, this is the place to come for all updates & information.
……….
I got this note from Beth the other day. Thought it would resonate with many of you —
I had to write you right away. I am cleaning out a hallway overflowing with baskets of preschool art, old report cards, ticket stubs, and theme park maps. I hate to throw these things away, and so I put them in baskets thinking that someday I’ll get to them. Well, I think today might be the day!
This year is my first year doing Project Life, and I love it. My husband even raves about how nice it is to have a day-by-day scrapbook without all the mess all over the house. Cut back to today. I was literally – just minutes ago – sitting on my living room floor thinking that it would have been nice to have done Project Life before, so I could add those bits of our life into the album.
Then it hit me!! Why can’t I do an album NOW for those previous years?? I can put those bits in order, add a few photos to go with, and voila! Project Life for 2010, 2009, 2008 … You get the idea
I can do this with any album, any page protectors, any journaling or none at all.
This project is such an incredible way to get this stuff out of boxes … it is so versatile and individual. That’s what makes it so very important. Thank you so much for the brainstorm!
Sincerely,
Beth in Dayton, OH

Awesome news! My DH and I were just talking about PL last night. That’s what he’s getting me for Christmas!
I agree with Cindy M – my husband is getting me PL for Christmas (Cobalt Edition when it comes out!) and lots of other stuff to go with it as even he gets into me making it look different & customizing it depending on what that week is all about!
My grandma was just in town & she was commenting how neat PL was and she thinks it’s crazy that I’m all caught up on my journaling cards…but then when I told her I carry them with me & do it every day…she’s like “That doesn’t sound too hard then” – I told her it’s a lot easier to do it every day then to try and do a month at a time (ah…thinking back to 2009 when I did PL the first time!) – never again! It’s too much fun to do it as we go through life!
Looking forward to updates soon!
I can’t wait…this will be my first attempt at project life and am so, so excited. With my only child being college age and these days it is mostly my husband and very cute dog I thought trying out project life would be a great transition for me from doing albums that were only about my son and vacation albums (with a few mini albums sprinkled in here and there). I am so, so excited. Did I mention how excited I am….Thanks Becky for coming up with such a great concept.
Do you have any pricing to share with us??? Or maybe I missed it?
I can’t wait for the new ones to come in and that’s my Christmas gift too. Every year that’s all I will get and it makes me soooo happy!!
Every week I do this it just gets better and better. It makes me feel good knowing all our family stories are in there and it’s the little stuff we usually forget. I’m planning on getting an extra one this time to use for my daughter who just started high school. Hoping one day to stock up on a few and go back and do a few family ones from when the kids were babies too. This is the best idea album ever and I wish this was around for my mom to have done for me.
Beth
I’m so happy to hear how great it works for you and that your husband supports it too. Good luck on doing the rest of your family albums. I’m from Ohio too, nice to have another Project Life girl in the area.
Anxiously awaiting the new ones!!!
what about the black binders…any info on them? price? thanks!!!!
I will stay tuned for the update when it is back in stock…
I love that Beth is doing PL for previous years! I think I’ll be following her great example because I too have little tidbits from past years that need a home. Can’t wait for the Cobalt + Clementine editions too!! Getting excited….
Beth’s story definitely resonates with me. I was at a retreat last weekend and spent my time starting — and completing — a Project Life album with my photos from 2005. I am thrilled and can’t wait to start buying the new editions.
I am in Dusseldorf Germany visiting my daughter who is in the university here. My home is in Spokane, WA. I am so glad those in Europe can receive project life. My daughter struggles with the Lack of “pretty paper” to do her craft projects. It is hard to find supplies here. I can’t wait to get home to continue my PL and to order my next one. Thank you again for sharing your talent with us.
Literally chomping at the bit to get started. I’ve been tempted to so start earlier, but I’m loving the Clementine designs too much. Will definitely be spreading the word for you!
Becky, I don’t know if you read these comments but I wanted you to know my story. I started using the Digital Project life in 2010 and was instantly hooked. Well fast forward to June of this year and I found my family living in Cebu, Philippines for a 6 month expat experience. It has been life changing to say the least.
At first I thought, how am I going to stay up on scrapbooking when I can’t bring all that equipment with me, and then I realized that I didn’t have to bring anything with me, it was all online and I could keep documenting my families life changing experiences in the same way I had been.
Everyday I post my new picture and write about the many things we have seen and do while here in a 3rd world country. I have it all right there, ready for me to print when I get back in Dec. Thank you, thank you so much for this wonderful program.
I have meet you several times over the years but I know you wouldn’t recognize me but know that I feel you are truely inspired.

I am planning to purchase Project Life for the first time in November when the new designs come out. I was wondering if you could help me figure out what to buy if you want to scrap the whole year week by week (on a double page spread) as Ali Edwards does. I would like to buy the whole years supplies all at once. I know I will buy some extra 6×12 protectors to occasionally go between some of the double spreads as well as the small pocketed protectors. How many packs of protectors for the base spreads for the year do I buy? I also know I will buy extra graph small journaling cards but does the core kit have enough title cards and filler and journaling cards for the entire year of weekly 2 page spreads? How many binders do I need to fit the whole year into? I don’t know if you could discuss this and maybe show it on your blog or not but I feel so confused… Thank you for any help! I loved the question and answer page on your blog today.
