sadie

This isn’t a post about Project Life. There’s no big announcement. No newsflash. No product update.

It’s precisely because I’ve shared so much of all that lately, that I wanted to simply share a few pictures I recently took for a friend. This is little Sadie and she is one. Completely precious, isn’t she?

By the way – not Sadie-related – I just wanted to let you know that I am pretty excited about the line-up we have for my annual 12 Videos of Christmas series. Some videos are by Yours Truly. Some videos are by fellow readers. It has been really fun to see the variety of submissions!

As you watch the videos over the next few weeks, you just may laugh, cry, learn, or feel inspired in some way. Each one has its own flavor and I can’t wait to share them all! Tomorrow I will be featuring one of the winning videos.

December is looking mighty fun here on the blog, friends.

Becky, Just found the coolest new gadget(2012 available). Called Little Printer. Tiny little printer that spits out news, items from web, etc. Prints out similar to receipts. Can so see it as a nifty source to add to PL spots. What do you think? I wanted to let us PL folks know about it right away.

Even though I’m a PLifer I sincerely appreciate the break from PL news. I’ve been trying to stick it out as a blog follower because I’ve been a fan of yours for years, but have been missing the old Becky blog full of the stuff of life. Thanks for the temporary break from promoting a business and for returning to that virtual girlfriend next door, many of us have missed you. :)

Beautiful!! I am trying to help my mom with her project. She is a school teacher and is trying to make ends meet since my dad has been out of work and since they have a missionary out. She has handmade super cute birthday banners with matching table runners. They have decorative stitching around the letters and are embellished with fun trims. I know you are incredibly busy but it would mean a lot if you could look at her item on ebay and give some ideas on where else she can sell them online. She is hoping for $90 for the set. In your opinion is that reasonable for a handmade item? You just have an eye for colors and fun, home decor so I am hoping you can give us some ideas. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you for your time!!!!!

      I’m certainly not Becky….
I looked at the set on ebay. It is really cute!

      Comments, for what they’re worth:
~ a picture that clearly shows the balloon print on the table runner would be good
~ add the total length of the banner, end to end
~ since there’s a blank square between the words, consider including a set of numerals, with small spots of prickly hook velcro on the square and soft loop velcro on the numerals. Maybe cut the pieces on the square in a heart or diamond shape so they look ok if the user doesn’t want to include the age
~ create a few different color ways – pastels, B&W come to mind

Check out etsy for another place to sell these.
