You are likely familiar with our Project Life binders. They’re coming soon – by the end of this month I hope?
I have mentioned that we are also working on our Signature Binders. The development and sampling stages of these items have taken longer, but we are pleased to let you know that production is rocking + rolling over at We R Memory Keepers.
Here’s a first look at the new Black Signature Binder and White Signature Binder – hopefully available next month – December!
These are especially lovely for those of you who love a more classic/neutral look. They’re simple enough for family life, classic enough for more mature themes, pretty enough for more formal occasions (such as wedding), and versatile enough for literally anything else. And they are sporting a familiar pattern that you might recognize from the background of our website. Hence, our Signature Binder.
I have to say – photographing a very subtle spot UV pattern isn’t easy. These are so gorgeous in person. (Spot UV is just an exact spot where you have an area of Ultra-Violet Gloss Coating.) But hopefully this will give you an idea of the product. I will share more details as we get closer to having these available but wanted to at least share a glimpse of what’s coming.
For the most current information + timing + updates – be sure you follow me on facebook or twitter.
On that note, I do realize that my blog is heavily about Project Life these days. There is so much going on right now with new products, new partnerships, big announcements, etc. and naturally, I want to be sure that you are well-informed. I appreciate that most of you love the updates. If you’re hoping for more variety, it’ll eventually come back around on the blog. : )

All about project life is really ok…of course enjoy the decor house stuff AND all!!!!! By the end of the month…and counting:)
These are simply lovely Becky! I really must have the white one for my wedding album (well, it was only 25 years ago, but obviously well worth the wait, LOL!). I am certainly happy to hear all about the new products, thanks for keeping us up to date.
Doesn’t it make you glad you haven’t jumped the gun and done your wedding album? I know I am feeling the same way, 17 years is worth the wait for this white signature album
You cracked me up!!!! I still need to do my wedding album, and it’s been 20 years. Sounds like I’m in good company. Love the look of the new albums!
LOL! I’ve already done my wedding album but that pretty white binder makes me want to do another one! (that and my techniques/style have changed in the last 12 years too!)
I’m joining you guys – 15 yrs!!! LOL!! See, there was a reason we haven’t ‘completed’ our wedding albums!
Oh thank you thank you thank you! I have been debating and debating with myself over how I wanted to attack project life starting next year.. We’re welcoming twins into our family and this seems like the perfect way to capture the precious moments of our new lives together! BUT, I just couldn’t pick one of the colorful binders, I just kept thinking I just want black! So these are PERFECT!!!!!
How much are the binders? I think this was in an earlier post, but I can’t seem to find it. Thanks!
Though I ADORE the printed binders in Amber, Cobalt, Turquoise, and Clementine…I love the idea of the white binder for weddings, first year of marriage, baby’s first year, 50th wedding anniversary celebration + trip. I also love the black for work achievements, a tribute album, or for blending in to a more traditional decor. The subtle, tonal pattern is genius. LOVE.
These are lovely! Thanks for sharing the pics. Is it wrong to want one of each of the 6?!?!
Nice, very nice. Now I want 3 binders!
Hi Becky –
Love them! Can’t wait for EVERYTHING!!! Too bad the binder material couldnt be turned into real wallpaper for walls. Maybe the Becky Higgins Home Collection of Fabrics and Wallpaper? Like you don’t have enough on your plate!
Lynn
I just started project life yesterday with a friend. We are getting together monthly to work on our photos. I couldn’t help myself and was up at 3 am this morning putting together another layout.
This is coming from and ADAMANT NON-scrapbooker!!! (Pretty sure scrapbooker isn’t a word
) Anyways thanks for the ease and convenience you have brought to the once intimidating art of scrapbooking.
AND for the original reason I was commenting on this post…I have ALWAYS wanted to do ALL white photo albums (aka “binders” now that I am a “scrapper”??? still not right?) and am THRILLED that you have this new line. Yay!
I am overflowing with Becky Higgins love lately!!!
Welcome to the world of documenting life!
“scrapbooker” is a word, even if spell check doesn’t recognize it – ‘add it to the dictionary’ is often an option.
To me,
Photo albums = only photos
Scrapbook albums or scrapbooks = photos and whatever else you want to add/do
Binders = well, binders. Usually three-ring.
Other things to hold scrapbook pages have different mechanisms – post-bound, strap-bound, and a few others.
oh yes, yes, yes. becky… thank you so much for creating project life and all that you do. you have made documenting my families life so very simple.
SO, SO EXCITED for these beautiful Black & White albums…just what I was hoping for! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You’re doing a fantastic job of listening to us and keeping all the new products and excitement going on the blog! I agree with the comment above that we have a lot of “Becky Higgins Love” going on! =o)
LOVE these, Becky! Quick question, though – what is the spine/ring size? If they are the same as your other PL binders than I have an idea of the size. Am crossing my fingers for a little bigger binder to fit all of the extras in there each year
Thanks for all of your hard work on these new products and thank you to listening to your customers (and FANS!!) to make the products even more awesome-er
All of the binders are the same size!
The Black signature binder has MY NAME WRITTEN ALL OVER IT…Thanks Becky and David.
Adding to my ever growing wish list….You guys are kill my budget next month, not Christmas…LOL!
You captured the UV spot pattern very clearly!
Now I need some tricks for capturing jewelry in photos! I want to capture my 25th anniversary journey pendant, since there isn’t another one like mine. So far, no joy.
I love the binders. I just may have to replace my current albums with binders. I’ll probably do it about the third or fourth time you re-order – I need a job first!
The Black & white will house the project life pages? I am assuming yes but want to make sure
yes!
Beautiful! I would love to see these made in brown, too. It’s also neutral, but a little softer than black.
Me too! I would love a chocolate brown.
LOVE both, I actually gasped a little when I saw them
So exciting. I am loving all the little glimpses as they unfold.
I write because I know you sometimes scroll through all the comments. I AM NOT artistically inclined, but on my 3rd year of P365/Plife. I was thinking it would nice if the kits had some themed cards for the holidays. You know, like one with hearts on it for Valentine’s day, Shamrocks for St. Patty’s day, Flags for Veterans/Memorial/4th of July. Just an idea as I always “make” my own for those days. Thanks for everything!
Oh, I really like that black binder with the subtle pattern. That will be my first choice, and perhaps the dividers will be back in stock by the time the binders are ready. Thanks for the peek.
Oh my word! I’m in love with the black & white binders! Gorgeous!
Love it!
I love these new binders! They will come and have a happy home in my house when they are available =) (hopefully the dividers will be back in stock by then too
)
I know you asked for suggestions and stuff a long time ago, but I recently thought of something and these binders reminded me – I would love to see a B&W or neutral PL core kit. that way all of the elements are neutrals and the photos/items added drive the color on the pages.
Also, I think it would be awesome if you teamed up with some company and had a journaling card die made. I know I can trim; I can. But honestly, i’d love to crank out a bunch of cards from scraps or cut photos down in a lump sum and the big shot + a die is so much less work than trying to get my silly paper trimmer to cut straight repeatedly.
Love this idea! A Kraft kit would be awesome, too.
they are beautiful, unfortunately my albums are “very handled” i dont use anything but the leather and leather like albums, otherwise they fall apart,
, i would love to see you do a leather or faux leather album
YYYYEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! I was thinking I had wanted a black covered album and HERE IT IS!!!
I’m one super happy gal w/my Clementine OH YEAH COME ON DECEMBER
One of those white ones is mine!!! THANK YOU for black and white with a touch of style…love ‘em!
I love the new binders! especially the black one… I have thought a lot about doing a black and white project life and wondered if you had considered that? could be lots of fun… 2012 will be my first “project life” year…. can’t wait!
yes PLEASE!!!! See the next comment also!
becky higgins
are you going to make core kits for the black and white
jennifer olson
Variety? Someone’s been reading….
I love the signature binders. I love all the Project Life updates on your blog. I can’t wait for the next new products to be available! Keep up the good work.
Becky, you just made my wish come true. My entire scraproom is done in a black and white motif – I love the clean look, and it keeps my space neutral so that I can focus on the color in my layouts. Having the project life binders in Black and White just sealed the deal. To my Amazon Wish List I go!
Loving the black and white binders! Beautiful!
I also like the idea of a “neutral” PL core kit – but then again this could be done simply by adding some plain/neutral/grey grid 4×6 cards to the mix? Since the 3×4 grey grid cards already exist?
OH BECKY HIGGINS I could just kiss you…do you know how long I have been waiting for someone in the scrappy world to come out with an all white scrapbook!!! And I love the elegant subtle design on it!! I have a feeling this will be my go to album for all things scrappy not just PL. Pretty sure I will replacing all my existing albums with this one over time…maybe Santa will help me out in this department
jennifer olson
do you noe when the cobalt and the clementine come out
jennifer olson
do you now when the coblat and the clementine coming out soon
Are the new binders leather? Or just a better material than the original binders?
The other albums (especially the bright orange one!) are beautiful, but these are perfect for my taste and style. I was still deciding about the other four designs, but when I saw these, decision made! So excited.
LOVE the white signature binder. LOVE.

I did read somewhere when you answered someone regarding a “no frills” type PL (her son was a missionary or something similar from memory).
I hope you do
sorry this was suppose to be “in reply” to an earlier comment abou ta “black & white” core kit…
Love, love, love the black and white! It will be a hard choice… or maybe I’ll alternate between black album, white album, etc. lol
