Oh, Cleetus McDuffy. Have you heard of him? If you haven’t, you’re about to have an experience that you may never be able to erase from your brain. ; )
Cleetus McDuffy + Project Life? Heck, yeah. When I announced the video contest, I encouraged viewers to create videos that would teach, inspire, or entertain. I’m pretty sure Cleetus nailed it for the latter category. Who knows? Some of you might even feel inspired in some way too.
Note: Cleetus has our “old” Project Life kit in the big box, which is no longer. I just wanted to mention that in case anyone (new) wonders what the big white Project Life box is that Cleetus carries around town. This is a good time to clarify that Project Life is not offered as a full kit anymore. That was the old way.
The new way of offering our products can be seen on our Products page. The very basics that one would need to make a Project Life album include a Core Kit + a Binder + a Big Pack of 60 Photo Pocket Pages. All of these items are in stock right now, plus many more. Since the holidays are upon us and many of you have someone in mind that could really use Project Life, this is an excellent combo. If Cleetus can do Project Life, anyone can.
And yes – I am totally hooking Cleetus up with some new products. After many failed attempts to be accepted on various design teams, Cleetus keeps getting snubbed. What’s up with that? Putting beef jerky in your scrapbook is about as creative as one can get, right? I’m so happy he’s getting the good news today that he is indeed a winner in my book. Let’s all give Cleetus some love!

I was actually wondering if anyone was brave enough to say – sorry but not really that funny! Thanks Benda for breaking the ice. This truly was not what I was hoping for – especially to be first out of the blocks. Surely with the response I am certain you got for this Becky we could have had something more pleasant to begin Decmeber with.
It’s actually the 2nd of the 12 videos…the first one was a beautifully “inspiring” video. Lighten up people! This one would fall into the “entertain” category. I hope you aren’t as upset with an “educate” video…but apparently we need one to learn how to “take a joke”.

Oh My Goodness – he is funny. His jugs of pop crack me up. At our local stamp club, one lady brought her older son as her driver. He stuck around and he was toting his HUGE jug, just like that. So this totally made me laugh!!

I loved that he got the lingo right- and I think it is funny how he poked fun at our hobby. I too have sat on the floor of a scrabook store reading! Who doesn’t have a picture of their breakfast in their PL? Somedays that is the most interesting part of my day! Who hasn’t spent an INSANE amount of time on one 2 page layout? Our hobby is supposed to be FUN and Cleetus is fun. Great choice Becky!
In my Project Life binder I have photos and receipts and a lock of hair from my grandson’s first haircut and tags and even some beach sand but I am missing the beef jerky. Good thing I have 4 weeks left in 2011 to remedy this! Loved Cleetus!

I’m showing this to my kids because they’re always saying to me “is this another picture/keepsake for your project life?” (saying “project life” in a “yes-I’m-picking-on-your-hobby, mom” type of voice). They will LOVE it! Hubby loved it too!

Oh my! I’m only halfway through watching this and I can’t stop laughing! He is sooooooo funny! I just ordered the Turquoise binder, cardstock and pages. I’ve been one of those 45 hours for 2 layouts girls, and I’m needing a kick in the pants. I shall be counting down the days til my Project Life box gets here!
