I have heard a lot about this paint and plan to give it a try. My first project could very well be the executive desk and file cabinets I use in my scrapbook room. They are remnants from a divorce and I’d like to make them “mine”.
I think I’ll go bold with Emperors Silk or Aubusson Blue. They sound so exotic and bold. Like I wish to be in my new life.
How to choose! I think Paris Grey and Old White could transform some old small rockers that I’ve been holding onto. Or I could go with bolder colors like Duck Egg and Graphite.

I have never heard of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint – EVER! I am so excited to be introduced to a new paint line! I am always finding projects to paint for myself or others!! And I’m totally excited to try chalk paint! I have “pinned” quite a few ideas using chalk paint on pinterest!
When I checked out the list of colors, I had to go for my obvious first choice of Graphite! I saw this awesome idea of dipping the bottom of a wine glass in chalk paint and then writing the “owner” of the glass on it!
The second color would have to be Paris Grey! I just had to throw away my old head board and am making a new one! (Just an easy method I saw on a DIY show!) I would love to use chalk paint on that for sure! My hubby leaves so early in the mornin for work. I think it would be awesome for both of us to leave loves notes to each other!

Cool! I hope I don’t cause anyone to faint but I’m thinking of painting a glass-front oak china cabinet that was my grandmothers. I LOVE it and LOVE that it was hers. I have a project in mind for this paint; I have an older, tall, narrow cabinet I want to paint for my scrapbook room. I’d like to paint it in a style similar to Lindauer’s NY City Subway dresser, but have it themed on a personal note. Instead of NY subway names, I want to use names that have meaning for my husband and I; the street names of the houses we grew up on, where we had our first date and different other city/local names where we have been and have had great memories. Since my memories are put to paper in my scraproom, I thought the cabinet should should reflect those memories as well. I’ve been dying to try out Annie Sloan paint for this project! Would love to use the Old White (maybe cream) and the Graphite.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to win! Good luck to everyone!!

My mom and grandmother were given a dresser/nightstand set that was previously painted a hunter green & white in a streaky pattern & with stenciled flowers. Shawn Peoria AZ I’d love to refinish my daughters bedroom furniture!
I am getting a new red couch and an old turquoise typewriter for Christmas!! So the last thing that needs to happen to transform my “project room” is a coat of paint on my grandmother’s hutch! (my unfinished scrap table could use a coat of paint too!) I think my favorite colors are duck egg, red and antiveres green and since I’m a teacher I’ll have a couple of weeks off to actually get it done!
Forgot to add, I’m in Chipley, FL!
I’m thinking of doing two projects in the upcoming year: re-painting and fixing up our basement play area for my twin boys, and refreshing part of my bedroom a la francaise! Needless to say, these paints would work fabulously, as the colors are gorgeous!
Janet from Loveland, OH
I have been wanting to try this for so long but has not been a priority! If I won I would make it a priority! Thanks for the chance to win!
I have begun thrifting furniture in need of some TLC. My current project, in the on deck circle, is an end table for my daughter’s Living Room. It is darkish wood with a panel framed top and drawer with a shelf below. There is much detail in the legs. I envision this piece in Annie Sloan’s French Linen with low lights in the recesses in Annie Sloan’s Chateau Grey. Then dark wax applied to age the piece oh so gracefully. Thank you for the contest, so many of us out here getting our creative juices flowing. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
Kathy from Pueblo Colorado, I would love the new charcoal color and the bright green, or just all the colors, and yes I have tons of furniture that I can redo with this paint! So excited!
I would love a chance to win. If I’m chosen, my choices would be Scandanavian Pink & Graphite. I would paint the play kitchen door graphite and I would use the pink to paint my daughters’ closet doors. Thanks for the opportunity.

I would also like to add stripes to my ceiling! Thanks!!!!
I would like to win this for my best friend – she would simply adore this product and would have so much fun. Thanks Becky!

I am always telling my husband that everything is better with a fresh coat of paint. I have painted, and repainted in some cases, alot of things in our home — walls, frames, dressers, tables, shelves and doors. I think my son’s bed could use a facelift [maybe even the walls since his room was the first we redid when we moved in] in primer red. And, I’d love to freshen up our dining room table with antibes green or barcelona orange. I love pops of color!

So last month I bought a ‘new’ pedestal table & chairs…I sold the chairs and then found 8 French country style chairs I really wanted. All are going to take some work! I have to take off the old upholstery from the chairs, paint (hopefully with supplies won from this blog!) the table and chairs, reupholster the chairs and have a lovely new set this coming new year!
The chairs on retail were $2600 for 6! I got my ‘copy’ chairs for $200! With some craftiness and muscles I hope to get this project done for so much less then $2600 that it would cost me for new chairs!
I would love to re–do an armoire.

The thought of sanding and priming is exhausting but since I have found Annie Sloan chalk paint, I have actually started repurposing my pieces. I would love Henrietta and Provence. Wish me luck. JUST discovered this fabulous product a few months ago! Already have four evades and two waxes. Yesterday I presented a program to my garden club on chalk-painted terra gotta pots! They just LOVED them and regular chalk works really well for personalization.
My friend is opening a wonderful little boutique in early 2012 and has invited me to be a vendor. It will offer lovely, but, resonably priced treasures to the local community. I’ve found some wonderful, inexpensive, treasures at local thrift shops that could use some TLC and a new Lease on Life. I hope to use the Annie Sloan paints (which I have been drooling over) to transform these forlorn treasures and give them all happy new homes. I love the refinement of some of the colors and techiniques and would love to start with French Linen and Duck Egg Blue.
