restocking products

I know we’ve all been very anxious to get some products here. Several items have been sold out but now the wait is just about over. In fact, we expect the shipment to arrive to Amazon tomorrowFriday.

Stuff to keep in mind:

1. It’s a huge shipment. Even if the product shows up first thing in the morning, it takes time to show up in the system and actually become available for purchase. So if the clock is ticking and you don’t see anything show up for hours + hours, please understand that there are tens of thousands of products to scan in and sort and stock and … that’s just our stuff. (We love Amazon so much. Have I mentioned that?) There is no way for us to know exactly when the product will show up in the system. You can keep checking and keep refreshing … or … you can simply wait to hear from me, since I will notify you (via blog/facebook/twitter) when the products are in.

2. The quickest, easiest way for me to send updates is via facebook + twitter. If you feel like you haven’t been getting as much information as you’d like, please know that I do sprinkle in product updates with other fun content on facebook + twitter. All the time.

3. Will we run out again? This is one of the most frequently asked questions right now. The short answer: Hopefully not. The longer answer: We ordered so much inventory, guys. While we think we’ll have enough to last until the next shipment comes, Project Life continues to spread like wildfire. Friends are telling friends and they are telling their friends. There is no way for us to really know how much will sell tomorrow, this weekend, next week, and next month. So we ordered more than we think we’ll need. Remember that I post updates on facebook + twitter. If something looks like it’s going to run out, I try to notify you ahead of time.

The good news in all of this is that even if we do run out of something fairly quickly, we have already placed another huge order so more will be on the way soon.

4. This is what is showing up on Amazon.com this weekend. If you live outside the U.S. please check with our international distributors for information on product availability in your area.

5. My best advice as you prepare to shop Project Life this weekend, is to know what you want to purchase. That’s why I shared links and prices, so that you can plan accordingly and have a good idea of what needs to end up in your Amazon shopping cart. Remember: Our Products page has ALL of our products on display at any given time, even the sold-out items that are going to be re-stocked.

So happy to hear this! I’ve been waiting patiently for Design A! HOOORAAAY!
Thanks so much for the updates and I’ll be waitin to her from you on Facebook!

  2. Susanne N. says:

so the big packs are $19.99???

    • Good grief. I am so sorry, you guys. I fixed the typo now.

      ALL BIG PACKS ARE $24.99!!!!

(I just got off a plane late last night and I’m not sure my head is completely clear this morning. It’s been a long week. Again, I’m sorry.)

      • Gypsy says:

Oh NO! The horror! Stop the presses. ooops – we don’t use presses much any more. Stop whatever you’re doing and listen {read}.

Becky is human, a mere human just like the rest of us.
Long week + airplane flight + late to bed = a fuzzy Becky.

I, for one, still love you and think you’re doing a phenomenal job!

  3. Hope says:

Woohoo! I am so excited for tomorrow morning. Is that a typo or is $19.99 the right price? Thanks for keeping us I the loop.

  4. Tammy W. says:

    Cant wait to get started!!!!

  5. michele says:

Please confirm the Big Pack prices…I paid $24.99 for them in December. Also…will Design D photo pocket pages be available separately or just in the combo with Design A?

    • Confirming that I was too tired writing this blog post this morning and totally goofed on that. Again – I’m super sorry for the confusion.

Confirming that all Big Packs are $24.99.

Confirming that Design D will only be available as part of the Variety Pack 2 … UNTIL those 12-packs are re-stocked around April.

Confirming that all products that are NOT showing up this weekend, HAVE been re-ordered … but it’ll be around April before we see those items.

  6. Susan says:

I’m so excited!! Can’t wait and will probably be sitting on my computer this weekend just so I can be sure to order asap!!

Sorry if this is a duplicate comment, but my original comment is not showing up.

Can you remind us what we should purchase if we’re looking forward to/waiting VERY patiently for school products?

Thank you SO much for keeping us updated!

  11. Deiga says:

Hip, Hip, Hooray! I’ve been checking everyday. I have my list ready. True project life story: I first tried Project Life (Project 365 then) in 2010. At the time I was hoping it would be a ‘quick’ way to scrapbook current stuff while having ‘free’ time left over to catch up on the years I was behind. Didn’t happen. I stressed over taking a photo a day. I wrote way too much journaling, most of which didn’t have anything to do with the photo, but just what happened during the day. Consequently, I became a slave to the project. Keep reading, it has a happy ending. I didn’t do Project Life last year in 2011 – figured I didn’t have the time. But I kept up with you and the new products and project updates and decided to try it again this year, 2012. I am happy to say I AM LOVIN’ IT! I changed my expectations and attitude about it. I don’t stress over taking a photo a day. If it happens, it happens. Otherwise I have a stack of ‘extra’ photos I can pop in, or I add a thankful thought or scripture. I do my journaling every day, even keep a box of cards and a pen at the office. And, the journaling mostly goes with the photo. Bigger stories and the long journaling is done in my Library of Memories and I’m happy to say that I do have the time to work on that now, too. So the moral of this long story. Project Life works. Thanks for continuing to inspire us and create a system that gets easier and more simple every year.

  15. danielle says:

Yeah! Congrats on the “good problem” of having too many people want your totally awesome product! I’m BEYOND excited about ordering tomorrow so that I can finally put the huge stack of bits and bobbles from our life the photo pages! This is my first time doing Project Life and although I wish I hadn’t had to start it out like this (piling things up and lots of waiting) I am so excited for you that your company is having such success! :) Thanks so much!

  16. Ang says:

This is so exciting!!! I’ve been prepping all my pages and I can’t wait to be able to finish them when I get the other products! :)

  17. CeciMami says:

Wahooooooo! I’m brand new to Project Life and have been keeping myself on track and organized by using an accordion file but man, it’ll be SWEET to see everything in page protectors and in the book. Yay, yay, yay! :)

  18. Stacy says:

So excited to read this!!!! I’ve been waiting for those big photo pocket packs to be restocked so I can get on with my PL albums. Yippee!!!!

  19. Eva Scott says:

SO, SO, SO excited!! I have most of my pages planned out already. Just need to insert photos into pages. Yah!

  20. Nicole says:

Hooray! I have my order ready and waiting….

  21. falwyn says:

I have a question about the grid journaling cards – the new core kits have 3×4 cards that are taller than the old grid cards. Are the grid cards the same size they’ve always been, or are they taller now to match the current core kits?

    Thanks for keeping us updated!

  22. Angie says:

I’m seriously stalking Amazon right now. I will get the big pack of A’s… I’ve never wanted anything so much since I was 11 and wanted a Cabbage Patch Kid. :D

  23. readsomething says:

I’d also LOVE to know if the turquoise PL core kit will be available. I know it’ll probably be April, if ever, but I’m OK with that. I just really like the colors and the graphic elements in that kit. I WANT IT BAD. :-) Please let us know! Thanks!

  26. Veronica says:

Ohh!!! it’s a very happy new…for those who lives in USA! but i’m so sad, because I can’t buy it. I would like to start with the Project Life “Clementine”. I’m specting a babygirl, she will born in 10weeks, and I would like to do a Project Life for she.
I hope we can buy from Spain directly to USA someday…

  27. Meredith says:

    Just placed my whole order!!

  28. Roberta says:

My word…by the time I put it in my cart and tried to check out…Design A pages were already GONE…help…when will they be restocked again?

  29. Jackie says:

Becky, please say it isn’t so… the Big Pack of Design A is saying SOLD OUT! I was checking all morning long, went to do some errands for 90 minutes, came back, saw people saying they’d just ordered theirs, tried to order mine and they’re sold out! Seriously? I can’t believe this!

  30. patti says:

Can you please give more details on PL TURQ core kit be back in …March or April is a large time frame.

  31. Lisa says:

Wow. So sad that I worked this weekend and now Design A is gone once again with a note maybe April or May. I just can’t tell you howwww disappointed I am. Once again, I am backed up on my scrapbooking and behind all because I can’t get your product. So I sit and longingly look at my Turqoise and Tangerine boxes just sitting there. I think I am going to just sell them and try to find something else. Please don’t “hedge your bets” on stocking for April/May. You should see now that everyone wants your products so don’t hold back. Maybe set a limit to make it fair for everyone instead of some ppl who seem to be buying you out and then turning around and marking these up on Ebay :( .

I am sad beyond belief. I literally had logged on at least 4 times a week but obviously this was not good enough.

  32. Mandy says:

Becky has a wonderful product, but there is more than one way to skin a cat. Don’t blame others for not being caught up with memory keeping. Those products that you already have can be used with so many other products. It makes me sad that you would put the responsibility of recording memories for your family on someone else and a product. Jump in and grab some “contraband” page protectors until you can get the ideal. There are tons of styles available and it’s doable and fun!

  33. Maria says:

Hi, Amazon still has page A available! I got 20 A’s with variety pack and 40 with another pack.
