I am pleased to present to you a first look at the next 11 plastic items coming from Becky Higgins LLC:
These are due to arrive July 2012.
It’s just a few short months away that these new pages will be in your hands. Like you, I have big plans to put these to good use and I can’t for the big arrival. The video includes answers to most questions you may have but certainly feel free to ask any other questions in the comments.
By the way, the development of these new items has not caused the delay of our Core Kit reprint or the development of our childhood products. I’ll have an update on all of that in the next couple weeks.
In the meantime, we’re still on-track to receive the re-stock of all our other, existing plastics by the end of this month. That’s only a couple weeks away. We won’t know the exact date until right before the delivery to Amazon. As always – I’ll keep you posted as we get closer – especially on facebook + twitter, where it’s easier to give quick, anecdotal updates.
All of you Project Lifers who follow what’s going on around here understand everything I’m talking about but I do realize that we have many newbies all the time. Welcome! Awesome! Was just thinking how great it would be to have a cd sized pocket so I can copy my year’s worth of pictures to a disc and keep a backup copy in the back of each year’s album! All those pockets look super useful! Can’t wait!

OMG!! SUPER EXCITED!!! I’m buying all of them. I really like all of them but i’m very excited for the 8×10 as NO ONE makes these and the fact that you can do both vertical and horizontal is totally awesome!! Same for the 8.5×11, you can only get those in vertical everywhere else and I have a ton of stuff that i can now put horizontal so that I don’t have to turn my head or the scrapbook.
I do have a question….How much are they all? and I hope you are planning on doubling whatever you ordered cause I can tell you that I’m getting at least 2 of each of these new page protectors and the envelopes. I can now finally get my son’s baby book finished. He’s only 2 so I’m not to far behind.

Thank you for the 6×12 envelopes. That will be great to finish off my Book of Disney Trips. I have so many park maps, lanyards, and such that I wanted to include, but the 12×12 seemed too large to put with the matching trip. The 5×7 is also great for all those dining package photos I’ve had to have over the years too.

Wow! These are AWESOME! I love that I will now have ONE source for my page protectors and divided photo pocket pages. I really like the smaller envelopes and Instagram pages. I also really like that you have the ‘half of’ Design A page. I was cutting down pages, which is a bit of a waste. Now I have them just like I need them! Also love that you’ve done both horizontal and vertical on most of the designs. Way to go!

Love these….the binders & all of these new additions are a great way to organize your important documents.God forbid you have an emergency(fire,weather,etc),and have to leave your home,you just grab your binder and you will have all of your important papers.So versatile,not just for pictures.Also great for kid’s artwork.Keep the great ideas coming Becky..we love it all!

I like the idea of those small envelopes to hold smaller-sized memorabilia; great addition to the full size envelopes. I also like the idea of the horizontal 8½×11 & the 8×10s — thanks for creating these page protectors for us!

Thank you for listening and continuing to create such a great product. It’s my second year doing PL and I can’t thank you enough for making documenting the memories of my children, family and friends so easy. Of course I’m behind a couple months but thanks to PL I know I where all my kids’ art projects, little bits of life, stories and pictures are. Thank you , thank you and thank you again!!

These are SO GREAT! This inspires me to make a childhood binder for myself and get started on my son’s school binder. He’s only 2 but it doesn’t hurt to get started when preschools not too far away!
And I simply must go on another vacation so I can fill those new small pockets with fun momentos.

These all look great! Would there be any chance in the future you would do just a 4 x 6 (Horizontal and vertical)? I have been wanting some of those for my Dec. Daily albums.
I am super excited! I have loved seeing people cut and remake their pages to fit extras, but I’m not that handy so I wasn’t able to follow along, and I can’t wait!
I do have one question and I’m sorry if I missed you saying so on the video… will you be offering a variety pack like you do with the full pages? I have been with you since the beginning and I loved doing my albums using the original format, but I have been having so much more fun with having a variety of page styles, being able to pick and choose pages to match photos instead of the other way around.

Realizing that you can’t please everyone, but I’m kinda sad that the 4×4 pages aren’t bigger. Maybe even 2 rows of 4×4 with one row of 3×4 for journaling? I am, however, EXTREMLY excited for the new designs!!!

as a New Zealander buying your product here is more expensive than in the states and so I”D LOVE IT if you could please please offer a variety pack of say H, I and J or include last times 12 x 10 divided page too as buying the variety packs is really the only way i can afford to buy them here, otherwise it’s over a NZ$1 a pocket. At the moment i have been cutting design A in half and then using the other half but it’s then smaller as it has no strips with holes :>

LOVE!!! And, I also LOVE how I already knew you were going to release these page protectors, it was just a matter of time because you’re AWESOME. Truly, you are. AND, just because I know you’re a Costco girl, too, it would be awesome to have an 8X12 page protector created so that I don’t have to crop it to a 6X12 or worry about making a new page protector out of a 12X12 because I haven’t been brave enough to try that yet. Just a thought because I know you listen because you’re AWESOME! Oh, I said that already, but, it bears repeating anyway! : )

Wooo hooo, I am looking forward to being able to get my hands on these. I am on year four of Project Life and I have also made three large vacation albums for big trips, using the Project Life philosophy. I second tne request for an 8×12 page, as I have had to use other alternatives and would prefer your product. I would also ask that you think about a page protector with 6 4×4 pockets on each side. Again, I have adapted other product and find they make a great insert size. And although I like the look of the adapted pages, I prefer your product

Ditto! Would like to know what the prices will be so I can plan out my purchase. Also if there are any variety packs of the new designs planned. For example, I don’t know that I would need 12 of the 5×7′s in vertical or horizontal but would definitely buy a pack if it had 6 of each. Same with the 4×4′s, it would be great to get a pack that had both the ones of just 4×4′s AND the 4×4′s with the 3×4 slots next to them.

These are wonderful additions to help diversify and fit with keeping memories in any size we have. As a suggestion if I can and you may have already had this or thought of it, but would be great to see a 5×7 in a 12×12 page with other sizes, not sure if it can even be done with the dimensions, but I’m sure if it can you will. Thankyou again for your whole concept and products about to start my 17 month old baby book, before my next one comes in August!

I homeschool my kids, and would really like to be able to let my kids start scrapping their school stuff. I would love to see you start some plastics for 8.5 x 11 binders, too. That’s an easier size for my kids’ little hands.

I love them all!!! I mostly use the digital PL products at PL, but I use some physical products for my babies’ albums, too.
I am so happy to have a new option for my 11×8.5 (landscape) actual layouts!! I’m just running out of my stash from several years ago, but they were discontinued, so I was thinking I’d have to alter 12×12′s for the small amount of layouts I do in that size. Thank you so much for all the fun new sizes!

I am very excited about these new items! My family is heading to WDW soon and I’m planning to scrap our album PL style, but in an 8.5×11 album. I’ve been pulling together supplies and hunting for pages that will accommodate that size album. I’m THRILLED to add these ones to the mix! The tiny pocket pages will be great, as will the 5×7 inserts. Happy dance!

I am using Project Life for the First time just to continue on with my scrapbooking (Have yet to actually use it, but I have all the products and ready to do everything this summer). I have not really seen anyone who is using the D Template for PL. I’m sure they’re out there – just haven’t seen any. I decided to try it this year. I bought the Cobalt kit from Jessica Sprague and have prepared all the pages to the end of the year in Photoshop. They’re all saved in a folder on my PC as both a Photoshop version and jpg (so I can see what it looks like without opening PS.) All I have to do now is open the prepared page in PS, drop in the pictures and type the journaling and save it as a jpg. When it’s complete I just drag the entire page into Shutterfly as a single page. I even made my own front and back covers to match the physical version as much as I could, using the Jessica Sprague elements.
I am liking this D Template because I like using those little day stickers to tie the photo to the journaling card. I tried to save a few pages in Flikr to see if I could share with others how the D Template looks. Hope it works.

I have been using design D a little bit in my album this year but after seeing your pages I might try using it a bit more; I’ll just have to remember to try to take a few more vertical photos. Keep up the good work 
I used design D exclusively for 2011… I don’t have them posted (yet)… but it was so fun to break out of horizontal norm and go a different direction for a year… loved it!

Now you do realize that I am on a budget? Hello how will I control myself when they come in, which ones will I choose…well the good news is I have some time to decide and what not.
Definitely something to look forward to. See my scrapbook crap is all over the place and I need to start consolidating my memoribilia in ONE place instead of all over the house, this will certantly help.
And over the weekend Petco had a Grand Re-Opening event and Puppy got a free 5×7 photo now of course we will have to frame one but the other must go in our scrapbook =-)
The pocket envelopes will be perfect for puppies goodies such as his ID tag from the shelter and suposidly puppy teeth that I may find somewhere when they fall out. Who knew??

AWESOME! So exciting! You have really made scrapbooking a joy for me again. I started scrapbooking back in 1995, and lately, with my busy life, it has become so frustrating to get out all of my scrapbooking supplies and only end up with 10 pages over the course of 6 hours (of course, chatting with girl friends while we crop). Your products are truly a dream come true for the busy scrapbooker! I look forward to buying these specially designed products for memorabilia. Yeah! I get my pictures developed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 6 cents a pop at Ritz Camera. The clincher is that the photos are 3-1/2″ by 5″. I don’t mind the deviation from 4 x 6, but we just returned from Italy, and I have over 1000 pictures that are 3-1/2 by 5. I won’t be able to scrap them all, and your pages are perfect for inserting them fast with little journaling cards. I got excited, too, because I thought your post said they were arriving 7/12, which technically they are: July 2012, but my birthday is July 12, so I have the perfect birthday gift(s) in mind! Doing a happy dance!!!! I use tons of “G” (the insert pages) and was so thrilled with all the new insert and poket pages! I have lots of pictre DVD’s too and now they too can safley be stored in my albums….I can;t wait till JULY!!! my b-day is late in the month and I’m already letting family know amazon gift cards are AWESOME gifts!….LOL!!!
Shannon- currently, Becky does not offer 8×10 or 5×7 albums in her line of products. That is not to say it may never happen! I wanted to let you know I have added your suggestion to becky’s running list of future products!

Have you already thought about the size A4, the standard in Europe (here we don’t use the 8.5 by 11)?
Do you think about a punch the size of the journaling cards? If you would make a punch I definitely would buy that in a second, one with rounded corners and one with straight corners: that would be so much easier for putting photos or stuff in the journaling pockets.

So glad to see the new products! I was making my own by cutting up my photo protector pages (especially for the long stuff), and it doesn’t keep them as snug in the protector. Great news!

after inspiration from your earlier video on that..inspiring and encouraging as always. BTW on my sons school album i managed to go through daycare-grade1 (which he is in now) of art work, papers etc..and fit a few in his album, pictures of most, and keepsakes in a file box..all down to one small pile, in one day over spring break, got one garbage bag of recycling!! thank you!! Cheers, one happy and paper free mommy!! just in time for my 2 year girl to start her own pile..but i have a system in place and I am ready!!

I love your products and Project life. It has bought joy back into my life for scrapbooking. Before it was fun and I loved it, but was overwhelmed. Now I find it a breeze. I do a multi picture layout and a traditional here and there and it goes so well. I actually was hunting down on the web those small envelopes of yours and now they are back. Wish they had the polka dots for my sonogram pictures. I can’t wait to buy as many as my heart desires. Thanks so much again and look forward to the children items. Can you make a kit for kids to do with their pictures? My daughter loves to scrapbook and it would be nice to have her own mini project life with cute kid colors. Just a thought. : )

I am so excited for the horizontal 8.5×11 !!!!! I have been searching for pages like that since 2009 when I did my first Project 365 album, the only ones I found at that time didn’t really fit the album properly. Thank you so much for all of the new additions, I already have plans to order at least 1 pack of most of the new items

You can drag your 4×4 instagram picture onto a 4×6 canvas, save it, and order 4×6 prints. That’s what I do!

Perfect! Ready for July
I enjoyed the link of fun and happy that sprang up from the pictures. Joy is the essence of what I want to find with this project – not just life project and for the rest of my my life long project. As I have waited for eagerly awaiting products, have experienced a kind of convergence of what is past and what is now. Becky, you have given us all a gift and a service in its time. Children are out of the house, we think of retirement, and for the first time I have all the time I need to bring together what was – and what is worth keeping – and how much do I think my children will ACTUALLY be interested in my stories. We’ll see. So, to combine Project Life with a Balanced Life Planner seems like they may work together. Or not at all! Again, thank you for stepping out and doing what you do with such grace.
