This post has been updated on May 19 with hopes that the video is working for everyone now since we had issues with the original posting.
…..
I have been practically bursting at the seams with excitement to share this news with you.
Watch the video and THEN … read on.
If you have difficulty viewing the video here in my blog post, watch it on Vimeo HERE.
…..
{ what’s new. what’s different. what’s better. }
…..
1. Instead of a chunky Core Kit box, it’s now going to be a flat box (approximately 12.25″ x 11.25″ x 1.75″), which is not only better for shipping, but so great for tucking in a drawer. Plus all the cards lay perfectly flat.
2. The plastic tray is super slick for so many reasons. This is packaging engineering at its finest.
3. Every part of the packaging is 100% recyclable.
4. You caught the whole Made in the U.S.A. part about this, right? That means we have more control over the whole process and the nitty-gritty details. The control freak side of us likes this, and the end result means a better quality product showing up at your front door.
5. Reprints of anything is sooo much faster here than overseas. So when we are running low on something, we’re talking weeks instead of months to get those orders rolling and delivered.
6. Please note that getting the ball rolling for U.S. manufacturing has taken a significant chunk of time upfront because of so much research that David and I had to do. There are so many more variables in the process than we realized could be possible. Hence the delays. But now that our projects are actually in the works, and we’ve learned sooooo much … the wait is almost over and we won’t have big sold-out gaps like that again.
7. We are reprinting all 5 editions of Project Life: Cobalt, Clementine, Amber, Turquoise, as well as the Original Edition which now has a real name: The Cherry Edition! Here is a glance of the Cherry (original) digital elements so you can see the overall style and colors:
8. The paper weight is the same, but the paper quality is better and the printing is awesome and the graphics are cleaner and brighter and detail shows up better. Overall much better quality.
9. Each Core Kit will now have 500 Journaling Cards and the back of every journaling card is a filler design. This allows for so much more versatility, instead of having separately printed filler design cards.
10. Each Core Kit will now have 40 Bi-fold Cards (used to have just 24).
11. Each title card will now have a vertical version printed on the back. Exact same art but flipped on its side. This is super exciting, making it completely flexible for you to have that title card be in the orientation of your choice, based on whatever Photo Pocket Page you want to use.
12. NOTE: It is very, very expensive to print stickers here, so we opted to eliminate the stickers that used to be included in the Core Kits. We’re looking into options for printing these elsewhere so that we can offer them as an add-on for those who may want them. More details forthcoming.
13. We’ve made many of the journaling cards versatile for either horizontal or vertical use so you can flip those cards any way you’d like!
…..
I think I’ve given you enough to chew on for now. Let us know what you think! Plus, if you have an opinion about stickers – knowing that they will not be INSIDE the Core Kits now, but rather a separate item – we’d love your thoughts on that. Do you love the day stickers? Number stickers? Arrow stickers? All of them?
If you are outside the U.S. and can’t view this video (because sometimes specific music causes videos to be blocked in other countries) … please let me know which country you’re in. I’ll see what I can do.
…..
{ Added Notes . May 19 }
14. So much feedback already – wow! I’m sorry about the video viewing issues. I posted the video and then was gone for 2 days and unable to trouble-shoot remotely. Hopefully the Vimeo video works. In the meantime, we appreciate all the feedback you’ve given us so far.
15. Timing: We expect all the Core Kits to be back on Amazon sometime in June. There are far too many variables to be able to predict which part of June. As we get closer and I have a better idea, I will gladly keep you in the loop. If you’re ever wondering about when to expect ANY product, check out our Products page and click on any product, which has a date with it. Anytime expected arrivals shift around, we update those on the website.
16. Pricing: As you know, U.S. manufacturing is more expensive. BUT … we have been working very hard to prevent raising the price of the Core Kits. This is part of the reason we’ve eliminated the stickers (including stickers would raise the price significantly – they’re that expensive – and by reading through your comments, we can see that most of you are A-OK with them being offered as a separate item so you can have that option). Back to pricing … we don’t have that 100% confirmed yet, but I think things are looking in your favor, U.S. customers. International customers, there is still a lot we’re figuring out but your local distributor should have pricing information soon as well.
Bottom line: We’ll keep you informed as we get closer. Please know that we’re in the business of making scrapbooking more affordable for everyone. This hobby is about your pictures and your memories – not the products. You shouldn’t have to break the bank and spend endless amounts of money in order to have beautiful albums.
17. Yes – First + Last Page Cards are still included – absolutely.

Hi Becky! I’m in the U.S. and I can’t view the video.
I LOVE the day of the week stickers and use both the colored and clear versions. I’ve never figured out what to do with the number stickers, so those have gone unused so far. And the arrow stickers . . . I think they are kind of fun, but the yellow color in the Turquoise edition that doesn’t match anything else . . . well, lets just say I have a million arrow stickers waiting to find a good use!
Can’t wait to watch the video when I’m not so tired! I’m sure everything is awesome!
Janel
Such fun news! I wasn’t able to see the. Video from Japan
wahooooooo commenter from NZ here!!!
good on ya!!!
and yah for faster to getting stuff printed !!!
and the first kit back too….wahooooooo
I am in Australia and cannot view it, but thanks for the great news on the Core kits.
I love #13!!!!! Well, I pretty much love all the changes. The stickers are not a big deal to me.
Sadly, I’ll have to wait to purchase new kits as I’m fully stocked right now.
I’m from Germany and I can’t watch the video either… :’(
Becky – excited about the changes. I did not end up using my stickers to their full potential in previous kids – I do know that! Maybe a self inking stamp might be better to replace the arrows and even a dialed stamp to do the days of the week?
) – I am thinking that they wanna see you and your new stuff!:o) Thanks Becky!
I also could not view the video it stated that it contained video from WMG and UMG and not allowed in my country? I am in Oregon and though I sometimes feel that in some areas we are out of this world
-Kaitlin
I’m in the U.S. and can’t view the video either.
I do Project Life in the most basic and traditional method, so I like the stickers to identify which pictures go with which journaling cards. Other than that, everything sounds great!!
I’m in the US and can’t view the video.
And about the stickers… I use the date stamp more than I ever used the stickers. Matter of fact I think my kiddos ended up raiding my stash and using them for science projects and their albums. I love the idea of a day of the week stamp like the rolling date stamp someone else mentioned.
I’m in Minnesota and can’t see the video… same error as mentioned above. I have Amber and haven’t used a sticker yet… no big deal to me that they were omitted. Same price, better product? Sounds good to me!!!
USA here and can’t view video either due copyright blocking.
I also could not view the video it stated that it contained video from WMG and UMG and not allowed in my country? I’m in California.
Congratulations on your exciting news. Love the look of the flat box and the new versatility with the cards etc…
I never really used the stickers, mainly only the arrows, so wouldn’t really miss them.
PS the number stickers were fantastic for labelling food in my little ones lunchbox so she knew which order to eat her food in!
I am in Australia and can view it!
Also wanting to find out, does this mean that you might be offer to ship it direct to Australia from USA?
That way we are not paying almost double the amount for the same product because we have to go through an additional channel before purchasing? PLEASE!!!!
Yep, I’m in Germany and can’t view the video either (neither option you gave). Looking forward to watching it soon though.
I agree Diane! Hoping with fingers crossed that Australians can buy direct from Amazon now. I buy books from Amazon and they deliver to my door – can’t understand why we can’t buy Project Life too direct from Amazon.
Hello from a CA night owl…I can’t see the video. Major bummer, but look forward to seeing it soon. : )
Great fun. Love the doublesided cards idea, and having the option of more fillers! As for the stickers – I found that I made myself use them because they were there. Like the arrows and the days of the week the most.
Hi from NZ. Onto my third PL year. Have never used the stickers:( but the date stamp always, luckily I have the first two years!
Everything sounds great…I can’t wait! I’m in California and cannot view the video.
Soooo exciting, congratulations! Looking so forward to getting my hands on all the core kits.
oh sweet! going local is so rad! especially if it doesn’t cost a ton extra!
oh sweet! going local is so rad! especially if it doesn’t cost a ton extra!
day and arrow stickers are a big deal for me…sad they’re not going to be in future kits! ALTHOUGH, I did make an arrow stamp…hmmm, and i DO own days of the week stamps, but came across the dilemma when trying to stamp pictures with it (where i currently use the clear day stickers) – i didn’t find a simple solution for that and had to skip it.
all the other changes sound pretty great!
Thanks for bringing jobs back to the USA!!
Im curious as to how much the prices are going to increase? I know it must be way more more expensive to produce it all in the USA. Im in New Zealand and we already pay way more than in the states.
Can’t view the video either.
Never used the stickers, so I won’t miss them.
All the changes sound awesome! Love that they are made in the US and that you’ll have greater control, quicker printing time! All in all, sounds like some great changes!
THANK YOU and Congrats!
Wow, thanks for the update Becky
. Sounds like lots of hard work has gone into planning the above and I’m so excited about all those new and updated supplies
I’m in Australia but on the iPad (but it does work here) and in the car (though not driving lol) and don’t want to distract my husband too much with my squeals of excitement when I’m watching the video
Thank you so much for Project Life…I just love it
Just saw the video and double Wow…love the flat packaging core kits and the ease of use of them, love the new filler/journalling cards and the double sided titles cards
In fact LOVE IT ALL !! Thanks again for such an awesome product
From Western Australia…..Firstly love, love, love, Project Life…so far so good with keeping up.
Secondly, the video is great….Finally, I think the flat box and plastic container are a great idea.
The ease with which the cards come out has been well thought out. Keep up the wonderful work.
Watching from NZ and works fine.
I have to be the first to admit, I’m a little disappointed :/ I missed out at the beginning of the year and am still waiting for my kit (though I have all the plastics, at least) so have no experience with what the products are like… however, I don’t like the new box. It’s far too big (do people really have 12″ drawers that aren’t for clothes?) and will no longer fit on my desk shelves… I’ll have to store it in the wardrobe instead. No biggie though of course… I guess the product isn’t all about where you can store it. I was also looking forward to the arrow stickers so I’m sad that they aren’t going to be included anymore and I will have to source some elsewhere.
However, it’s good that it means faster restock etc… I was hoping to get a different core kit or two to mix it up more (and because I’ve already used up half the blank cards I bought just writing silly notes etc… can’t see myself breaking this habit, they’re the perfect size!
) so it means it won’t be a problem if I miss out on the next wave =)
I do have a question though which anyone who might read this might be able to answer – is there a date stamp included? When i watched the product video back in nov/dec there was a date stamp (may have been an old video but it was on this site?) however now when I view the contents, there is not. It’s so confusing because everyone keeps talking about it now… where do I get the stamp from?
Thanks!
Hey… They stopped putting the date stamp in… you should be able to find one at any newsagent or office supplies store… its just like the old roller ones they used to use at the library to check your book out.

Ah cool, thanks =)
Another New Zealander here
OMG how exciting. My first ever PL album and plastics arrived the other day and I have been waiting all week for this news so I can go ahead and pre order core kits
Ana – the Plastic Box has 12×12 draws – I have 3 sets of them… I love them!
Thank you Becky and everyone else who have made this all possible… so much behind the scenes work being done by so many people – all in aid of our memories
Thank you ((Hugs))
I’m in Australia and can view the video fine…
What will all this mean as far as cost goes??? Will we be seeing an increase?
Will Australia still be buying through NZ?
Loving the changes to more and double sided cards.
BUT NOT HAPPY ABOUT THE NO STICKERS PART… NOT HAPPY AT ALL
New Zealander here and i can view it – have only watched a few moments.
re the stickers – i was never really a fan of the arrows as when i did it as photo a day i always put them in the same place but i did use both sets of stickers that year. now that i have a weekly approach I use them randomly but not every week.
hoping the changes and different manufacturing dont add anything to price of the kits in NewZealand as the prices have already gone up this year and they are much dearer than the states, that said i love everything about the concept and am so glad that you are thrilled with the new changes, thanks for all the work you and david do for us all , cheers julie

Congratulations Becky!!! Your video (I’m in Australia and it worked perfectly) portrays just how much hard work you’ve put in and how excited you are – your passion is so obvious and admirable!! LOVE the double-sided journalling blocks and LOVE the switchable orientation.
Will there be a price difference now that it’s manufacturerd in USA, but without the stickers?
P.S. Thanks for posting at this time. I know it doesn’t help your sleep, but being down under it often feels as if we’re always the last to find anything out, but this way we’re one of the first!!!
I am in Australia and had no problems with the video.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the arrow stickers and also the days of the week stickers. I have never used the number stickers.
Another suggestion – perhaps some stickers with the months of the year? After doing a photo of the day album last year, this year I am doing it by the month and some lovely stickers for the title cards woruld be fabulous! I know you can make your own with letters stickers/stamps/rub-ons, but it would be nice and easy, and would tie in with the rest of the design.
Thanks Becky and team – love your work!
I’m in Sweden and just watched the video, very cool! Love, love, love that you are bringing back Cherry, my favorite design so far! I will be my 2013 design!
I love the clear day stickers and the few clear arrows and swirls that were on the sheets but not much of the others. I don’t mind buying them seperatly though. I would by the way love to be able to buy little matching stickers with just enough room for a short line of journaling on the photo itself, just as Ali Edwards often does. I’m using stickers from other manufactors now but it would be neat to be able to buy them from you.
And how is that 4×6 punch coming on? Will it happen?
What stickers do you use?
Anna, I think the I found the best matching ones from Tim Holtz, will have to check when I get home on Saturday.
And I forgot to add that I love the news about all the cards being doubble sided! Brilliant.
Just want to echo the comment about little journalling stickers to put on the photos. Great idea – I also use other manufacturers’ ones but would like something that coordinated.
Love the changes! But also hope that the kit will not be more expensive (ordering international already cost a lot with all the shipping fees). When will the new kits be available for ordering internationally?
I haven’t used the stickers at all, so to me it sounds very good if it is not included in the core kit. This way those who would like to have them could order them separately.
Amazing – love the video! Thanks for sharing.
I always use the arrows and day stickers. Have not used the number stickers.
Be great if they are still available as an add on.
Thanks Becky – the options for future versions of core kits seem endless now that you can work locally with the manufacturers.
Michelle in Australia.

LOVE the colored stickers (number, arrow, day of week) and use them all the time (I do NOT use the “clear” stickers which I do not find usable for me); I think they are a very important part of the kit!
And, I’m in the US and can’t view the video.
Exciting news Becky girl!
I can’t watch the video.
I personally loved the arrow stickers, but those were the only ones I used. I can easily draw my own arrows!
Great video! The improvements are so awesome!!
Does the new production means that everything will be shipped sooner to Europe as well? I hope so.
I would love to see some labelstickers to match, to put over my photos, like in the digitalversion.
I currently print the digitalversions out on a stickersheet.
Greetings from the Netherlands
Sandra
Though I’m in NH, I’m unable to view your video as well {blog/or U Tube}!
However, from what I read after your video sounds -AWESOME- {insert angels singing} for all current and future -PL- users! I love the fact your driven to constantly improve on an already spectacular product, Becky! I think a few other companies could benefit from the good old fashion work ethic/values system we so lack here in the USA these days!
I LOVE PL and am so happy to be a member even if I’ve fallen a tad behind of late. I’m still enthusiastic and looking forward to filling those gaps soon.
STICKERS – So love those arrows, dates, etc… Might you consider a size appropriate set of stamps to purchase to cover this issue? There are products like Staz-On inks, etc… I think you need to co-ordinate up a wonderful red etched rubber stamp set with repositionable mounting to use with acrylic blocks. The CLEAR acrylic sets are nice, but have issues for the inexperienced and experienced alike.
I’m looking forward to filling some of my gaps with your NR products in July!!!
LOVE, LOVE your -PL- system,
-A.
So very exciting Becky! The packing thing is brilliant for me – being in Australia I pay about $90 for kit and postage, and the split is about 50/50 so if you can reduce postage cost and am well pleased! I won’t miss the stickers, I put dates and things on my photos digitally so year on year I’ve given them away. An add on suits me fine. I have to say I got SO exited when you said the filler cards will be printed on the back – that is a fantastically perfect fit for the way I use this kit. I am always looking for fillers and usually cut my own from the matching papers. Every year I have wished there were more of them and this year bought the digital kit to print my own! You heard me – brilliant work Becky. I’ll be signing up for my fourth year of Project Life for sure!
In North Carolina and can’t see it. I can’t wait to be able to though!
I’m not too upset about the stickers. I used to use them in January and February, but they got to be a hassle. I used them to put the date on the picture. I didn’t like overlapping two numbers to do 11-31. I would love to see number stickers that go through 31. I use the arrow stickers still every once in a while, but I feel that, while the tan color coordinates with the Amber kit, it feels out of place. I’d love to see some arrow stickers in colors that match better.
I am so excited about the Cherry kit! Woohoo!! I think it’s so pretty!
Wow Becky!! LOVE your news
So happy for you that your business has evolved so much – and so happy for us that we get the benefit of it all!!
I agree with the idea of a self-inking date / day stamp. I also wanted to let you know that I am really sad that the coloured/design patterns that were on the dividers are gone. I loved that they matched the colour of the kit!! I think the plain ones are great for other purposes, but I do love the matching ones to go with my Project Life albums.
Especially love that the cards are going to be double-sided and also vertical/horizontal. What wonderful thing will you think of next?!
Love your work!! Your biggest fan in Australia (who was able to watch the video no worries
.
xxxxx
After watching the video chat the other day, I was hoping to see the new childhood/baby editions in this video. I work in publishing and like to see the printing process as much as anyone, but come on… please show us the new kits and tell us when we can get our hands on them! Or at least tell us when you’re going to tell us!
I couldn’t wait for the video to buffer so I read the text first. Happy news!
Now more than ever I want to use up my supplies so I can get more! haha
I finally got to watch the full length of the video. I just had to come back and say – I love your earrings Becky!
Hi Becky
I’m in NZ & video is fine.
My question relates to the blank grid journaling cards and first & last page cards which were included in the old core kits. What is happening with these?
I sure hope the price isn’t going to jump (as people have previously mentioned it is alot more expensive here in NZ) as I love the Project Life concept (this is my second year). I also hate to think I would not be able to continue with an awesome looking finished product because some of the components, which used to be included, are now extras which need to be purchased separately & make it too expensive .
Karen
PS Don’t use many of the stickers
Hi Becky, thanks for this video! I’m very excited to see that all these core kits are being printed with a better quality (also like the new packaging design, and looooove the fact that it’s 100% recyclable!
). Regarding the stickers, personnally I only use the numbers (days are in English (of course!) and I prefer to use French writing in my PL,a s I’m French). But I really like using the numbers (transparent ones on my photos and coloured ones on the journaling cards), sometimes I also use the arrows, but not systematically. So if they will become add-ons, I will probably buy them with my next core kit. I just have one remark: in the core kits that are sold today (I have the Turquoise one), there are 6 pages of 7 series of numbers from 1 to 10 in both colours and transparent. That means: if we use numbers on all our pictures (and journaling cards) each week, we are only able to use them on 42 weeks, meaning that we miss 10 weeks with the numbers. So I think it’s a pity that we do not have enough stickers to complete 52 weeks. Ok that was just my opinion!
Thank you for everything and thank you for reading each comment here (and there are lots of them), taking into account the opinion of your fans!
hello!
the video is very good, I’m in Italy.
I’m not interested at adhesives, I hope the price of this core kit not increases!
well done Becky!
Sounds like some great changes! I am in Minnesota, USA and can’t view the video.
I can’t view the video either in Kentucky.
Lost my last comment so I’ll keep this brief.
Saw video no probs (on iPhone in Sydney, Australia).
Loved it. Fascinating! Love the USA manufacturing, the flat new packaging and I liked the songs you chose to accompany the video too – very appropriate!
Qt … Any update on the matching, designed dividers? I thought they might be in this new release perhaps?!
And … Always wanting more … How’s the childhood kit going?!
Thank you …
Kate
I am in the USA and couldn’t watch the video. Looks like you have to live outside the USA to see it. I also do not use stickers.
No video in VA either. I LOVE the made in USA change! That’s awesome!!
No video in Cali
but super excited about this! Thank you so much.
I do love the stickers, I find it makes things look cleaner when I have to direct journaling around. I would buy this separately though, not a big deal
says”This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.” from your site and youtube.
excited for whatever the news may bring!
Cannot view in NY. Boo!
Having the same problems! “This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of who have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.” I tried reading it on your blog and on you tube, but it was blocked both places. I am dying to watch the video! Help!
Ps. I love in Ohio.
I live in indiana and can’t view the video either. So we won’t be getting the box for storing the cards? Bummer, but I am excited about the other changes.
Love reading about these new changes!
As far as the stickers go, I use the arrow stickers but have not once used a number sticker. It’s like I forget about them?
I am very excited about the new products. I am disappointed about the stickers. I use the day stickers in every layout. I hope you can find a way to print them, even if it is separate from the core kits. Also, I am very wordy so I use the back of almost every journaling card. Will the fillers on the back be light enough in color to write over?
Keep up the great work! I just love Project Life. I have gotten so busy in my daily life that I rarely have time for my traditional scrapbooks. It makes me so happy to have a simple way to document my family.
Exciting news! Love that there will be lots more journalling cards and really looking forward to the Cherry core kit, I’m so glad that’s coming back. Not a big user of the stickers so that’s not a drama for me. I will miss the cute little boxes that the journalling cards were stored in – great for taking with you to catch up on journalling. I’m another Aussie hoping that the change will not mean a price hike through the NZ distributor.
Very anxious to see the reprints! I use the arrow stickers, but I would be just as happy with a stamp or punch if that would be easier.
I use the day of the week stickers on every page and would miss them. Then again, I’m thinking of switching to the digital Shutterfly version next year. Thanks for the update.
Super excited about the MADE IN THE USA and the reprint of the original “Cherry” version. I love the number stickers and the arrow stickers, having them available as an add on would work for me, still have a bunch from the last 2 core kits I purchased.
Can’t view the video in VT, hope that gets fixed, really want to see it.
I am thinking of giving a kit to my preschooler’s teacher to document the kids year at school, I think PL would be great for this. I know you have a School Days version in the work but have you thought about an educator version?
One other thing I would love to see is more smaller page protectors, I love the
G design and the 6 x 12 design, they look so nice as inserts. And when there are a few more how about a big pack of 60.
Thank you, Becky and company for bringing us this great product, keep up the good work.
Cannot view the video in Connecticut.
I am in the US…in NY and cannot view the video. Would love to “see” the changes now that I have read about them. Like the “made in the USA” too!! Thanks.
Copyright error on the first link and the direct YouTube link says you haven’t made it viewable on mobile devices. (I’m on my iPad.) thanks.
Video blocked in NJ!
Cannot view in Pennsylvania: “This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.”
This sounds fantastic! Unfortunately I can’t view the video – I’m from Germany.
Can’t view the video, but I love the arrow stickers. Would be willing to purchase as an add-on if it were available. Thanks for all of the hard work on great products!
I live in Brisbane, Australia.
Video works phone on iPhone.
I too love the music and good for you and producing in USA.
I am still waiting for my kit so can’t comment on stickers but I do like stickers and would be prepared to purchase separately.
The new vertical/horizontal cards sounds great. All the improvements sound fantastic. Makes me want another kit before I get my first one!!
Super excited about all the changes! I can’t wait to see the video…but it’s blocked for me in Florida, too.
Me too in Florida! No video! boo!!
Blocked in NH. As for the stickers, I only use the day of the week ones for my journaling cards. I could probably get some small stamps for those if need be.
Excited for these changes!! But can’t view the video from your blog or YouTube; I’m in WI.
We don’t need music on these videos, so please eliminate it and that will eliminate the trouble with them being blocked.
In Florida, can’t watch the video here or on utube either
Glad the stickers are not in the package. The smell of them is terrible! I got sick every time I opened the box.
Looking forward to seeing them. A HUGE thank you to you, and David, Becky. I really appreciate all the effort that you’ve gone to!
I would love to see the video– it says it is unavailable to US viewers.
The only stickers I’ve really used much are the arrow stickers.
YAY!!!!! THANK YOU for having your products MADE in the USA!
Like the others have said, I also live in the United States and the video is blocked here on your website, when I go through Google Reader and when I go to YouTube.
Viewed video in Western Australia. All awesome, as usual. Love it. Just wanted to ask, is Craft House in NZ still your only stockist over this side of the world (I think they are completely out of stock right now)? Great, great work Becky!
Boo Ya! Woo Hoo Becky! Love that the products
Are going to be made in the USA! Heck to the ya! I love that you
Are going this route! I bet the kits will be way more beautiful! As far as stickers
I never used mine.
Great news I would not miss the stickers and would not buy them as an add on don’t use them much. Looking forward to the video when available
.
Can’t see the video either, I’m in Florida.
All we really want to know is when will it be available?
Hello!
I like the stickers, they’re probably nice to have, but I rarely use them… So I think the ones I got with my cobalt core kit will last forever! I probably wont order them by themselves…. But if I ever feel like I need to, it certainly wouldn’t be a big deal to me to purchase them as an add on
Thanks!
Just want to ask do we still get the title cards & last page cards included in the new kit?
I’m also hoping that this won’t mean an increase in cost from the NZ distributor. Hoping that one day we can purchase directly from Amazon.
Blocked in Louisiana.
The video both here & you tube won’t play here in the US, just get a black screen saying something about copyrights…from reading though it sounds great! I love having the journal cards with filler designs on the back
I can’t view the video (WI) – it says “This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.”
Great news! Honestly, I don’t use the stickers that much. It’s nice to have, but I think mine will last a while! And as for the video.. we’re stationed in Germany (military) and I cannot watch the video because of the music
Boo-Hoo!
Oh, try Vimeo. Escape Google!
it sounds great, but I’m in GA & can’t view the video:-(
I use the stickers on every layout. I use the day stickers most, but also the arrows and number stickers. I will miss them. I may try using stamps instead. If the stickers were available as an add on I might buy them, depending on the price.
Just curious. Will the core kits still be the same price here in the US?
Thanks!
Can’t see it in Maryland, but thrilled you gave us the details!
I will not miss the stickers. I don’t think I’ve ever used them. I would be glad to send my stickers from the 7 core kits I have used over the years to people who could use them. I’m sure others would be willing to do that too. Would hate for you to have to spend time on something that would take away from getting those baby and school kits on amazon.
Thank you Becky. I am so thankful for Project Life!
What a nice idea!
Hi Michelle,
I love to take these off your hands. My kids are using Smash books and they love these stickers for all kinds of things. Email me at angelsscraps@yahoo.com if you’re still interested in getting rid of them. Thx!
Great news indeed! In Denmark the video is just fine.
Cant wait for the products to arrive! What about stamps instead of stickers!
Video doesn’t play for TN!
couldn’t view here or on youtube. sad.
i’m in fargo ND
I was going to post that I couldn’t watch the video either (but many have already said that.) (USA)
BUT more importantly, I am SUPER EXCITED that you are printing in the USA now! I would love if everything was manufactured in the USA, and purposefully look for where things are made, and purposely do not buy things made in some foreign countries, so I am thrilled right now! I’m happy for YOU, too!!
Can’t wait to see the video!
In California, can’t view video. Your written descriptions sound great. Love the vertical options on the back so I can go either direction. As for stickers I’m not a sticker person so I won’t miss those. Sounds like great changes.
Doesn’t play in NJ
I had no problems viewing the video in Karratha, Western Australia.
I LOVE the new packaging, the flat box. Awesome idea. I’m glad you are going with a new printer. I wasn’t going to complain, but I was a little disappointed with the quality and colour of my Cobalt kit cards.
I rarely use the stickers, so it won’t bother me too much. If anything, I use the arrow stickers and number stickers, but never the day of the week stickers.
I have an idea for a new photo pocket page protector…. if you’re interested
I’d love one that has room for three horizontal photos with three vertical 3×4 journaling cards adjacent to each photo. Great idea huh?
Keep up the awesome work!! I have started going to a new craft group and am excitedly telling and showing everyone my Project LIfe album! And just like everyone else, I can’t wait for more info about the childhood/school kits!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your idea for a new page protector! I would totally buy this size if Becky makes it! Please Becky, Make this size/layout – three horizontal 4×6 pockets with a journeling card pocket next to it!
I love the new ideas you mentioned in the post under the video and will not miss the stickers! So glad in the USA part! WOuld love to see the video when it’s able to be played here in the good old USA!
Can’t watch the video here or on utube here in alabama
It shows incredible integrity and commitment on your part to not only talk the talk, but to walk the walk. People spoke and you not only listened, you made it happen. My sincere appreciation to a great family company. I am currently cleaning up my scraproom following a pipe burst in our basement and was seriously considering boxing up what is left and leaving scrapbooking after 15 years. And I adore scrapbooking! Maybe I was looking for a new direction and I think I just found it… My scrapbooks were not damaged – thank goodness! Again, I am very impressed! Respectfully, Karen S.
I’m in sunny California and can’t view the video but am excited all the same! The stickers are a nice little touch but I could easily live without them if they’re not a part of the core kit. I use my silhouette for die cutting and have a nice selection of arrows, pointers and word phrases to choose from. I also have a huge stash of stickers from way back when that are working well.
…on another note…yesterday I snapped a shot of a starbucks sign in our local Target store and 2 workers asked why . I explained PL and they were excited, however, at a nearby table, there were two other gals that rolled their eyes and smerked at me. I was initially embarrassed and for a split second felt like our beloved PL was just a waste of time. That quickly changed when it occured to me that this is MY everyday life and I’m certainly not a waste of time. Thanks Becky for bring so much more to the table than just a hobby. My everyday may not be very exciting but it’s certainly important to me and those that I am fortunate to know and touch. This morning, my feet (once again) hit the ground so I’m going to wear my PL badge just a little more proudly and give thanks for all I have via my camera and pen!
Congratulations to you Ana! I’ve had similar experiences from mom friends of my daughter. The one complains about how her mother-in-law “burdened” her with scrapbooks of her husband’s artwork as a child. She wants to throw them away. She occasionally eye rolls at me as well, courteously, but all the same. The only person I know who uses PL is my sister-in-law and she lives on the opposite coast from me.
But I tell you, the other day I was going through my album from last year and my kids and husband were nearby and they kept peeking over my shoulder, and the looks on their faces when they saw I had captured something important to them that they had forgotten. That negated a hundred eye rolls.
So many people out there are using camera phones to take a picture of someone and then make fun of them on facebook for their outfit or hair or whatnot. I like to think we PLers help balance out that negativity. For every woman trudging through target on one of her worst days, maybe one of us is there, taking a picture of our kids window shopping in the toys (and maybe whining), or a free mini starbucks infront of a window of grey skies. . .and maybe that heavy heart she has lifts just a little seeing us appreciate the little things, or laughing at our own silliness. I seriously had a woman say I made her day because I took a photo of my kids target smoothies and my frappuccino lined up on our table, she said it reminded her that sometimes it’s the little things.
So snap on Ana! Every click is a moment of gratitude, a little acknowledgment of how you are living in your life. In those eye roll moments when I want to take other people’s judgment in, I like to remember my favorite quote “it is folly to assume my awesome lies dormant.” You are awesome Ana!
Thank you, Ladies! I love this. Why is it so easy to let a few strangers make us question our passion? Ana, reading your story, I actually feel sorry for those girls. Sorry that they don’t get it. Sorry that they may be going through their lives with blinders on. Life is about simple pleasures. And Melissa, it doesn’t get much better than spending time with your kids, having a smoothie, and chatting. I guarantee they will remember those moments and those moments should be honored and cherished. Carry on PLers, with heads (and cameras) held high!
Bummer, I can’t watch it either
And I’m in the USA.
Oh well, I’m excited anyway! I just started this journey (having 8 children I’m a little overwhelmed).
Keep up the great work!!
sounds like some fun stuff on the video. like others have said, can’t see it in Ohio
I am a little sad that their isn’t any stickers in the core kit. I use the days of the week in my books.
thanks! Shelly
I can’t wait to see the video. The new kits sound exciting. I would be disappointed to not have the stickers but wouldn’t mind purchasing them as an add-on. I use the day stickers the most, followed by the arrows. I never use the clear stickers though.
I can’t see the video here OR on YouTube. But I’m excited you are reprinting the original edition – that is the one I am using and I love the colors! I’m planning on mixing in some of the other editions’ cards for my next book though. And to me, the stickers aren’t a great loss; I haven’t used them a ton.
So funny that it says, “Made in the USA”, but, apparently noone from the USA can see it, lol. Bummer. Anyway, I’m positive that whatever it is you cooked up is super awesome, as usual. You’ll probably even make another video JUST because you’re that awesome! : )
Video still not working even though I switched to my computer.
Love the new printing in the US and the options all sound great.
I NEED the stickers though I use the arrow stickers every week and the colored day stickers.
The others I’ve only used occasionally.
Thanks Becky and David for continuing to make Project Life awesome!!
USA – can’t watch it either- supper excited about the new options!
You continue to amaze! Congrats! It all sounds great!
Can’t watch this in USA! Help! It says:
“This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.”
Ditto….so bummed!
Couldn’t watch the video in South Carolina, but did read through everything! It sounds wonderful. I already have the Cobalt core kit, but I may have to order another now, so that I can get all of the cool journaling cards and title cards. I LOVE what you’ve done with those!!!!
Can’t watch this in NY! Help! It says:
“This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.”
Sorry, I read on because the video doesn’t work …. the changes are SO exciting! I can’t wait to buy my first core kit!
I’m in Texas and cannot view the video on your blog or You Tube. Read your description of all the changes and it’s easy to understand why you’re so excited. It all sounds great!!!
A new PL fan!
Can’t see the video in Colorado, but couldn’t wait to read the announcement. I frankly don’t use the stickers (yet?) in the core kit, so really think selling them as an add-on is fine. SO, SO, SO excited about the card orientation (vertical/horizontal/flip sides), as I am constantly shuffling thru cards to find one that fits my layout that week. You all are awesome!! And it’s almost time to order another core kit!
Exciting news. Regarding the stickers-not a fan of them, so quite alright by me that they are not included.
I rarely use the stickers so it’s fine for me if they are not included. Looking forward to seeing the video.
Hey Becky! SUPER excited about the changes, especially the USA mfg!!!! Way to go! Just to give you a heads up, I tried watching the video on my computer as you mentioned, and still had the same issues as on mobile devices. Hope it gets up and running soon, can’t wait to see it! God Bless!
Can’t view the video here in LA — am dying to hear your updates! I don’t really use the stickers, so offering them as a separate item sounds like a good idea to me.
I think this is SO SUPER AWESOME!
>>>>>>MADE IN THE USA! + RECYCLABLE packagaing= REALLY GREAT!
as well as all the other benefits that come with it! Looking forward to these!
I can’t wait to see the video, once the U.S. problems are fixed.
As for the stickers, PLEASE make them available to us! I use a clear day of the week sticker, a colored day of the week sticker and an arrow EVERY SINGLE DAY. I use Project Life in its most basic form – one photo per day and one journaling card per day. I think losing the arrow and day of the week stickers would make it much more confusing for my kids to look through the albums – it would be way harder to figure out what goes with what.
Would love to see the video, but the description sounds awesome! When will they be available? A friend is getting married soon and I was thinking of getting her started…maybe I’ll just get the plastics and binder to start
I used my stickers briefly in the beginning, but I’ve decided I didn’t really like/need them. Although others will want them, I wouldn’t be buying them as an add-on. I do love your products though! Can’t wait to see what you have in the way of baby PL…need to make my boys some baby books even if it is years later!
In Florida and can’t view your video.
I had no problems watching the video through your blog on my iPad in Sydney, Australia.
My two cents worth is a vote for keeping the arrow stickers, would be great to see these in more colours
Well….looks like I jumped on the bandwagon at just the right time. Exciting!
Yaaaaay! Love the vertical and horizontal option! Also just want to say I do love the number stickers
I’m in the US and can’t watch the video. I receive the message that it is blocked due to copyright issues. rats.
Can’t watch the video and I’m in the USA, too. : (
Great video! I was able to watch it no problem – I’m in Nova Scotia Canada. LOVE LOVE LOVE the changes – it looks fabulous!! Although I do use the stickers here and there in PL this year (I didn’t at all last year) I don’t think I will be missing them at all with the new kits. I can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeves
I was actually surprised that when you announced your new plastics that a 6×12 with 3 slots for 4×6 wasn’t among them. I would love to see that as part of your line-up as well.
Couldn’t view the video (USA). But I read through your descriptions. The new kit reprints sound amazing!
I am SO happy that you are reprinting the original edition! I have loved all of the pictures of it I have seen! I won’t miss the stickers–I use them sometimes because they are there, but it won’t bother me if they are not.
I am also thrilled that you are adding more versatility to the cards. One of my biggest frustration is that they can’t be turned and used from the other orientation!
Thanks for making such a great product! You are truly revolutionizing the scrapbooking industry.
I can’t see the video in Maryland.
All of the changes sound great, except for the journaling cards with a filler design on the back. I tend to use the back of the card to continue my journaling. I seldom have enough to say to use the bifold cards, but more often than not I can’t fit everything on the front of the card. I was so happy when I got the Clementine edition and saw that the backs of the cards were now lined. If you take that away and replace it with a filler design, I will be disappointed.
Also, I couldn’t view the video in Arkansas.
So thankful for Project Life and all that you do to keep improving it!
I use the arrows and day of the week stickers consistently, so please offer them as an add on
Can’t open both video and YouTube.
Plus I notice every time I opened your website, it was very slow.
Hope you can get it to fix and I can’t wait to see the video.
Love all these changes. (Couldn’t view either)
Would love to see the stickers replaced with an acrylic stamp set.
I can’t watch the videos either-I get a message saying there is a copyright issue.
I couldn’t watch the video either in Arkansas due to copyright stuff-is what it said. Read everything and really excited about some of the changes. One thing not mentioned…does the price of it change?
I am hit and miss on the stickers so I am ok with them not being added…but I do miss the matching dividers!
The flexibility to use the cards portrait or landscape is super exciting!!! The stickers won’t be missed…already have plenty from the core kit I purchased last. Also really excited to get the “Cherry” edition
Nooooooooooooo! Can’t watch the video
(I’m in the US!
Becky I live in SC can’t view the video. Since I speak several languages, I tried to view it in Hungarian(Magyar), Italian, French, French(Canadian), English (UK) they are all blocked. Can you repost without the music, I’m assuming that’s the problem. Thank you so very much. Manufacturing in the US is very, very impressive. I have been sometimes disappointed with the color quality coming out of China. You guys seriously impressive as newbie small business owners. You are doing a great job figuring it out and caring about your product. Hugs to you both for working so hard while raising a family.
Unable to watch the video in NYC (can you turn off the music? I think that’s the problem – copyright issues, etc.), but I read the post & WOW! SO EXCITING!! Sounds great!!
Looking forward to watching the video here in KY.
Would LOVE to have 4×6 cards for journaling included in the new kits.
Thanks for all the hard work you all have put in on this. LOVE that it will now fit in a drawer.
I can’t see the video either – but that’s because I’m at school getting ready for another day (I love starting my day with you) and Youtube is blocked in our district. So I have something to look forward to when I get home tonight! :0)
I LOVE that you are “Made in the USA” now!!!! Not only are you giving us better products faster, but you are helping to provide a livelihood to fellow Americans and helping OUR economy! Being the wife of a husband that has been unemployed for almost 2 years – I sooo appreciate that!
You have so many reasons to be proud of your business – and here is one more!
THANK YOU!
Hi Pat, I just noticed your comments and wanted to say that I have a lot of components from Becky’s old school kit that I’m not going to use. If you could use Preschool – 6th grade stuff I would be happy to mail it to you (as a gift) as long as you are in the U.S. (postage might be too high, otherwise!) These items will go well as extra’s with the new school kit, I’ll bet, once the new kit is unveiled. If you see this message and are interested, pls email me at Sperl4@msn.com
I can’t see the video either (in Utah). The changes are so exciting though!
I only use the stickers because I don’t want to waste them, but if they weren’t there, I wouldn’t be sad. I have always wanted to add the days to my pictures digitally anyway!
Thank you (and David) for all your hard work and dedication!
Ditto!
Youtube not working, either.
My message says, “can not be viewed in the US, blocked”
Booo hooooo. I’m in Arkansas and I can’t see it!
Not working for me either. Tried the link also. I’m in Minnesota.
In Idaho and can’t view it
Seriously, Becky???? I think you can’t get more awesome and then you do!!!
It is becoming so important to shop “Made in America” and you are doing it. I can’t tell you how happy I am. I live in southeast Virginia and there is a town not far from here whose paper plant closed. It was devastating to the economy. Thank you for making this switch. I was devoted to your products before and now I think I’m an official disciple!
Thank you for your integrity and continued commitment to ensuring we receive the best possible product. It’s nice to feel good about buying a product that you know is designed and produced with care.
Sorry Vanessa I just had to pipe in when I read your post. You are talking about the paper mill that was in Franklin, yes?? I’m from right around that same area.
Hi Peyton! Yup. That’s the one.
Could not watch the video. I did not see a ship date for the core kits?????????
blocked on your site and youtube
Becky exciting news for sure. I also could not watch the video here or on youtube. I’m in California.
Love all that you are doing. Especially the made in the U.S.A. Thanks for caring.
So exciting! I’m very new to Project Life, and first want to say thank you SO MUCH for developing a product that allows me to get back to scrapbooking in a way that is efficient, fun and easy. I heart Project Life!
As a newbie, my 2 cents on the stickers: I like the number stickers and the arrows – I’m using those a LOT to do captions for my photos. The other ones – not using them at all. So if there’s a way to get those separately or somewhere else that produces them that would be great. If not – I’m sure I’d find another way. I’m so excited to see the new versions of these great products.
Thanks again for Project Life!!!
I can’t view the video either and I’m in Wisconsin. Same message about the content not being allowed in our country. Tried You-Tube and it wasn’t viewable there either. Exciting changes though — can’t wait!
I’m in the US in NJ and could not watch the video on either your blog or You Tube. It says it contains content from WMG and UMG one or more of which has blocked it in my country on copyright grounds.
But, I’m SO excited about made in the US. By chance, does that also include the plastics or just the paper products in the kits.
This is all such exciting news!!! Thank you Becky!
On the stickers personally, I LOVE the arrow stickers – not so much the numbers or days, but I use the arrows A LOT, I’m talking, all. the. time. Love love love them!
I would miss them greatly if they were gone.
Oh and I couldn’t view the video either. In Massachusetts.
Video won’t work either on your site or youtube. I’m in Ohio.
I live in MI. It’s blocked. Sadness!
I couldn’t watch the video here or on Youtube. I’m in IL. Sounds like exciting news though! My opinion about the stickers – I actually haven’t used any of the ones in the 2 yrs that I’ve got PL. So, leaving them out of the core kits is perfectly fine with me!
can’t see the video here either!
Blocked in Illinois.
And the stickers…I love them and use them a LOT…but I can buy them sep.!
Videos are not working….at either place. About the stickers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the day stickers – both the colored and clear. I use “some” number stickers. Hardly use the arrows (This is my third year doing PL and I think I have used 5 arrow stickers).
I do not use the stickers at all – sometimes my kids get into them and make a mess…so better that they are left out for me.
I am in the US and can’t view the video.
I can’t view the video in Virginia.
My quick 2¢ about the stickers… I have done 6 albums since this aaaaaall started, and have never used the stickers.
Please oh please give us an option to buy the stickers separately.
I use the day stickers and arrow stickers every single day!
And if I understand right…you are putting graphics on the back of the journaling cards?
That means I can’t just flip the card over and keep writing if I have more to write. Oh, well. I guess that’s why you are including more bi-fold journaling cards.
I was unable to view the video, but from what I read, the changes sound fantastic! You must be proud of yourself, your hard work, and great products!
I may have missed this, was there any mention of new core kits (baby, school, etc) after the core kits are reprinted?
Thank you
Same here in TX…you tube is blocked as is the video link on your blog ;( I’m excited and can’t wait to be able to view this!
Exciting stuff, I only use the arrow stickers but would love to have more color variety when/if you start offering them again. Thanks
The video on the blog worked for me here in Alberta, Canada.
I can’t wait to get my new stuff that I pre-ordered!!
can’t view it.
I’m loving the news, but I also cannot watch the video. I’m in US – Pennsylvania, so not sure why it’s blocked.
I’m having trouble getting the video here or on YouTube, it’s blocked due to copyright or something.
I think the changes sound great but I would totally vote for having the number stickers included! That is one of my favorite parts of the kit, because it makes it so easy to associate a journal card with a picture. I would definitely be buying those and maybe the arrow stickers in addition to a core kit.
I am in Canada and I can view the video!
Looks great – personally I have never used the stickers (this is my third year) so all news is good news for me.
I rarely use the day stickers because I don’t focus on taking a photo a day and in 10 years it’s not going to matter what day of the week it was…but the arrows are fun to use now and then!
I love the idea for the new kit. I am really excited that the cards can be used vertically and horizontally AND they are double sided now! I have never used the stickers that have been included. I would like to see stickers that are more of an embellishment than just the numbers and arrows.
THANK YOU for “Made in the USA!” That is so cool! Thank you for taking the time and effort to do that! If I can tell my husband it is made here he doesn’t care how much I order
THANK YOU for your fantastic products! You have gotten me back into scrapbooking. I have completed last year’s album, I am caught up with this year and I’m working on 2010. I still do some 12×12 layouts because it’s fun but with project life I have a sense of accomplishment. I am EXCITED and OBSESSED about scrapbooking again! I take a lot more pictures, I have my 8 year old scrapping and almost have my neighbor convinced – she saw my project life album from last year and thought she might actually be able to do it. I may just order her a new kit as a surprise!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Andrea I am right there with ya, with Project Life allows me the success of (staying caught up) and leaves me the time to still do the fun Layouts that I WANT to do and dont HAVE to do to stay current. Donna
Bummer…cannot see the video…hope you can fix that.
Changes sound good. I use the stickers sometimes, but would live just to have die cut arrows… That is allison ever use anyway. Congrats on a continuing success!
As you already know, the video is not working on your blog or YouTube – I’m in Cali. Thank you for choosing Made in America. I know your headaches will be fewer for doing that. I am in year three of doing PL and have never used one sticker.
blocked in Oregon….on your site and youtube….
SOOOO happy to hear you’re printing in the good old USA! Wonderful news! I’m always support companies who print in the USA first.
I couldn’t view in VA.
As far as the new stuff – YAY. Love PL!
I’m anxiously awaiting Baby and School editions.
I use the arrows, but even then…totally fine with stickers as an add on!
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a 3×4 punch. LOVE.
When I tried watching it on your blog and on Youtube (I live in Allen, TX) it kept giving me this error:
This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
Sorry about that.
Couldn’t view the video in MN but LOVE what I read about the core kits! I am so excited to see “Made in the USA” on these and am ordering one as soon as they are available! Thank you for your hardwork and dedication to Project Life.
Video is being blocked (due to background music?), but I have tears in my eyes just from reading that it will now be made in America. That is so huge to me! I will definitely be gifting this new version. And the stickers—no loss in my opinion.
Also, ditto the 3×4 punch. Obviously as an add-on, as I imagine it would be expensive. Have you considered working with another company to make it happen?
New packaging idea – LOVE
Made in the USA – LOVE
Back design on journaling cards – LOVE
Title cards with options – LOVE
Journaling cards that are more versatile – LOVE
Days of the week stickers – LOVE, but can live without
Keep the great Project Life stuff coming Becky! You have MANY fans!!!
I can’t see it neither video is being blocked
Hurry get it fixed lol!!
Video still not working so I was a little sad.
Great to hear the new changes to the core kit! I use the arrow and day stickers but not all the time so they would be great as an add-on option.
Can’t wait to get my hands on the new page protectors! So excited about all the new smaller insert options.
Thank you for a wonderful (and getting better all the time) product!
Sounds so fabulous! And I love that it will all be MADE IN THE USA! As for the video, I got the same message others got – blocked because of UMG & WMG content. No biggy – we got the message & it’s awesome!
I can’t see the video, but I want to put in my two cents about the stickers. I do like them. I use the day & arrow stickers on every layout. The numbers, not so much because I couldn’t figure out how to include just up to “10″ I could probably get by without the stickers, but I do like how they point you directly to where the picture is for that journal card (since I include 7 pictures and 7 journal cards per layout).
Looking forward to seeing the changes.
Blocked in NC too!
Hey Becky, love all the changes, I was wondering if you would consider selling just the boxes and plastic tray seperatly so we could organize our extra stuff from previous kits purchased and be able to keep it all neat and tidy, right now I have three different types of packaging it would be nice to have it all in one place. Also video not working here in ND. Thanks Donna
It says the video is blocked in my country for copyright reasons. I’m in the U.S. so not sure why it is saying that.
Blocked. Can’t watch it on youtube, either:( I’m in the U.S.
Content blocked here in good ‘ole Westminster, Colorado. Won’t play on you tube either. Dying to watch!
Oh, and gotta have the stickers too! Days of the Week are a necessity for me…both the clear version (for the photos) and the color version for the journaling cards…are a MUST HAVE! I also love the arrows!
When will the kits be available on Amazon? Also, I have noticed that the price of the Project Life keeps getting more and more expensive, I am presuming that the price has gone up on these core kits too with all the additions? Part of what I loved about Project life was the simplicity of having everything for the price. However it seems with all the different parts, it is just another facet of scrapbooking where you are collecting the pieces.
So excited about Made in USA and recyclable! And…love ALL the stickers!
Video is blocked from viewing either on your blog or in YouTube
Hi Becky! Ilive in the U.S. and it says the video is blocked. So wish I could watch it.
I for one don’t mind the lack of stickers in kits from here on out. I barely use mine…in fact, the only reason I really do use them is because I HAVE them! (don’t get me started on feeling bad about neglecting supplies…lol!)
So excited to hear about all the new updates!
Not able to view the video on the blog or YouTube, and I’m right here in AZ
.
Same here
It is blocked and I live in AZ! I tried the both the blog and YouTube!
Tried both videos from UT and being blocked.
It all sounds great. My favorite part? MADE IN THE USA!
I’m in Dallas, TX, USA and cannot view … blocked for copyright on your website, Google Reader, and YouTube.
Can’t view video on either website or Youtube. I’m in Miami, FL.
Guess what, I also tried both the blog and YouTube and it says “This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds. ” I’m in Alabama so not sure why it’s blocked.
all blocked.
This is the message I am getting here in MI:
“This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.”
I did sneak ahead and read though and am VERY VERY excited for all of the changes you are working so hard to make!! Woot woot!!
So exciting! Can’t watch the video, but loved reading about the updates. I am SO excited that the cards will have options for orientation as I like to use lots of different plastics and sometimes have to figure that one out. This will make it SO much easier. As far as the stickers are concerned…the ones that I use ALL THE TIME are the days of the week. I find them so incredibly useful and would be more than happy to buy them as a separate add on if you can find a way to make them available. Thanks so much for all you do Becky….these are some awesome changes!
Both videos are blocked, live in North Carolina, tried with Mac Computer and my hubby’s PC as well. Can’t wait to watch the video.
Blocked in Iowa. Both on blog and YouTube. Read the info though and am very excitied.
Videos are block to me even on YouTube. I’m in Michigan USA. I read the comments and love the ideas. I’m always a fan of stickers but making them available separately is fine with me.
Blocked in CA too.
Can’t view it either. Bummer.
I’m excited for the new packaging and flexibility! Yay! SUPER excited about the addition of more bifold cards!!
I don’t mind the lack of stickers. I use the arrows on occasion but I don’t think I’ve used any of the others.
Blocked – Phoenix, AZ
Video blocked in IL too.
Hi Becky!!
Can’t view video on your blog or on youTube here in Massachusetts Never had a problem before…
Blocked in California.
Even tho can’t see the video…LOVE that you can make this in the USA (I worked in fashion design and production and hardly EVER was able to get anything made here!) and the changes to the cards will be great!! I’d say, I never use the stickers…not even sure what they’re for…I draw arrows right on the cards if I need to point something out.
Love the changes, sounds exciting, but I love my stickers! They are a must for keeping everying straight. Thanks for keeping us updated.
Blocked in Alaska.
Still blocked, but I read the list, and it is exciting! LOVE that the back of the journaling cards are the filler designs, and that the cards are designed to be horizontal or vertical, and that there are more large cards in the kits.
Just wanted to put my 2 cents in on the stickers — I use the day and arrow stickers all the time!
thanks for everything!!!
Such exciting news!!! I love that you and David have worked so hard to make sure the products are made in the USA!
I personally only use the arrows and colored day stickers. I could go either way on the stickers.
I also am blocked from the video in CA
Blocked in Utah. So excited about all the versatility!!! Just curious about the price. I rarely use the stickers so I’m sure I have enough from all of my past kits to accomodate me forever!
Blocked in New London, Minnesota. I can’t wait to see the new things!
I agree with a previous post. I don’t like how I have to purchase everything I need separately now (binder, protectors, paper, core kit). I do use the stickers, they are part of the core kit and one of the key elements in this project. To take those out would be a huge mistake. It’s one more thing to purchase separately…next thing you know, the entire core kit will be broken up. At this rate, I may as well purchase the Archiver’s version for next year. Please remember simplicity in every phase of Project Life, even in buying supplies/purchasing.
Live in So. California blocked…Love the arrow stickers, don’t use the day stickers much!
Im in Canada and video worked for me
I was wondering if the prices will be going down at all? I didn’t buy the core kits because of price just the “plastics” but would love to get a clementine core when they come in stock!
Blocked in Washington State too!!
Thank you for the video! I’m so excited to see it – however, it’s blocked in Germany.

Becky when will the new core kits come out
Becky, I use the stickers all the time and would surely miss them. But just like other readers,
1) Could not see the video.
2) Again would the prices go up on the core kits?
This looks so cool. I do not need a new core kit yet but this has made me want to order one just so I can enjoy the flat tray and new changes to the journaling and title cards! Any idea when they will be released for sale?
Oh. And I just wanted to add that:
I’m in Canada and I was able to see the video. Weird how there’s problems for the US viewers.
And I’m okay with the stickers being an add-on. I add on other stuff anyways.
blocked in Baltimore, Md
I use the day stickers and number stickers in my PL and would be really disappointed if they were not offered. I am bummed they aren’t included. It seems every time the products are “improved” more items are removed and offered at an additional cost. I don’t really see as much of a benefit to us when this happens because it just means all of the original items we were getting are now more expensive and offered separately. Doesn’t seem like a win for the buyer.
I don’t think that’s a fair assessment. The big kits used to be quite expensive, and lesser quality. The products have been greatly improved and offered separately, which can actually save money for people due to the flexibility to order only the products you want. I rarely use the stickers, so having them as a separate option makes sense to me. But regardless of that, the improvements in the core kit (faster availability which everyone has been complaining about), better quality (again, I’ve seen lots of complaints about things like the cuts on the edges of the cards), the increase in filler cards because they’ll be printed on the back of every card, and the vertical options as well – it’s all a huge improvement. Would you rather she increased the price on the core kits to be able to include the stickers? I just don’t think she can please everyone all at once. Someone is going to have a problem with anything Becky puts out there. She’s doing her best to give us everything we ask for as quickly as she can.
Blocked both here and on YouTube and I am in Ohio.
I can’t view them either. There was a video blocked last week on another scrapper’s blog. It was because of some background music. That might be the same problem here. The new changes sound terrific–especially made in the USA and double sided cards!
I’m in Grove City, PA and can’t view it on You Tube or your website. It says blocked in my country. Looking forward to viewing!
blocked in CO too!
It’s blocked here and on YouTube

My PL layout format changes every year. In previous years I have always used the stickers, but this year I am not using the stickers in my current format. So having them as an add-on would be OK.
Thanks for all you do for us!
Video is blocked in Utah. After reading the details, I’m super excited about the positive changes for teh core kits. Awesome job! Wonderful ideas!
blocked with the following error:
“This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
Sorry about that.”
bummer!
Love all of the changes coming. Sounds like some amazing things!!
I particularly love the idea of the cards having vertical on the back. Whew!!! That is very helpful.
You guys rock!
Can’t watch this in NE.
This video was blocked in Indiana both on the blog and YouTube. Bummer
Blocked in OK in both formats. But I read ahead and while I’m not finished with all of my current PL I’m excited about most of the changes. I will love a plastic organizer, having all of the PL kits come back, Made in the USA!, better quality and a very useful box to store. I will probably miss the stickers but who knows… maybe that will help us all streamline?
I’m getting the same error message in both places.
Blocked.
In ND, USA and cannot access here or You Tube..
When I start to use it…I WANT THE STICKERS please!
Please have them as an add on if possible.
Just watch the video! It’s working in Canada, which is where stuff is usually blocked…go figure. VERY excited about the new trays! Any chance we can order just the trays and boxes to organize the stuff we already have? I do like the stickers, but cost would be a factor for me. Can’t wait!
I am in Indiana and I can’t view the video here or on you tube. This is the error I get :
This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
I can’t wait to see it.
I have the “original” project life kit. I have to say that I like the options offered now better than having the kit all together as one big purchase. Now with everything being offered to purchase separately I can pick and choose what I want/need to buy. Yes, it was nice to purchase it all together and get it all in one package, but now that I can buy the Cobalt binder, but oh I like the turquoise core kit, and oh I like the variety pack of page protectors…that’s exactly what I can get. If you want the “whole” package order it all from Amazon and it’s free shipping usually with a $25 purchase so you aren’t paying anything extra for shipping. The price of the products are definitely worth every penny! Keep the awesome products coming because you are doing a GREAT job! I love the whole Project Life concept!
I am excited about the card orientations being versatile. I like the day and arrow stickers, but am fine with them being seperate. I have liked the whole process of having been around since the “cherry” kit and that PL and I have grown together through the years. Your hard work has resulted in a product that fits my life very well.
Video is blocked in Michigan, cant’ view on the blog or UTube.
Darn it all.
It all sounds great. I’ll have to use up all of my kit so I can buy another.
P.S. It’s blocked in the USA.
Wow…looks great! I am a big believer in buying ‘local’, how nice that as well as having better control of quality you are also creating jobs that stay in the USA. I am also really happy to hear that there will no longer be large gaps in product availability….I am in Cananda and still waiting for my kit which will hopefully arrive at the end of June. Keep up the great work, it just keeps getting better!!
I haven’t used the stickers except for the ones at the tops of the dividers to label the months.
thanks for the update.

Video is block here in Oregon on both your site and YouTube. However, reading the details–super awesome! When do we start to see these core kits?? (just curious–understanding that the whole process has been huge and time consuming–yea for the USA!!! Thank you!) Yes, I would love to be able to order some stickers–I love numbers and arrows–oh, all of them! Thank you and David for making these kits in the USA! I hope it’s more affordable, too!
Video is blocked in Michigan in both places. Darn! Excited to hear the news.

SUper excited about everything I read though!!! woo hoo!!!!
The video is blocked here in CA.
Loved reading all the little details! I do use all the stickers…
The video is blocked in Hawaii, too.
I just started using the PL products a few months ago. I love the idea that the new version will have cards that can be used horizontally or vertically – that was a small problem for me with the older version. I don’t use the stickers anyway so won’t miss them in the future. What excites me most is the “made in U.S.A.” aspect – thank you so much for that!
CA cant watch it on Youtube either
This is what I get from Utube and your blog:
This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
I am in Michigan if that matters.
Kevin, where for art thou ?
It all looks very exciting and I really like all the new changes, BUT I do wonder how much more this will cost to purchase project life for us down here in New Zealand. Im sure no matter what the price Im still going to purchase a project life kit every year as I love the idea of remembering those everyday things that are otherwise forgotten, the cost is already alot more for us than it is for you there in the USA. Im sad that there will not be stickers in the core kit, while this year I have not used as many stickers as the year before I still use them and will use the leftovers in other projects, would love to see more arrow stickers as i dont have leftovers of them and think they would be cool to have for other projects.
Will always LOVE project life Becky its has changed the way I scrapbook, I still do the standard 12×12 scrapbooking but love this photo a day idea and that the family can add to it too by adding a bit of their own journalling.
Video blocked in GA, USA.
I just found out about Project Life the other day. Good thing I hadn’t picked out a Mother’s Day gift yet! Just told hubby to wait a few more weeks for restocking… Now I’m even more excited! Count me in for a new Core Kit!
video blocked in Tennessee but love what I read!
Still can’t watch the video, even on the link you provided to You Tube
I’m in Ohio by the way. All of the changes sound great except the new box! That won’t fit in my current PL drawer, lol. Guess I’ll have some rearranging to do. I’m really excited that the original design is coming back, it’s the one I really wanted when I started PL but of course wasn’t available.
I do use the stickers, but would be happy to buy them outside of the core kit. I don’t think we need as many as come in the kit anyway. I started using my kit in Nov. 2011 and I think I’ve only used maybe 3 sheets of the stickers. I do use both the clear and the colored ones, I like to put the clear on my photos and use the colored ones to coordinate with whichever journaling card I’m using.
I was wondering though, is there going to be a price change in the core kit now that these changes have been made?
I’m sure you’ve already thought of this option…..if stickers are so costly to produce , what is the possibility of getting a set of stamps in YOUR handwriting ( same idea as the ALI type stamps) for the days of the week, months, years etc. You could also have the arrows etc in the set and we can choose to buy them seperate of not?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Ali’s stamps are used in many version of PL. Best example being Nichol Macourik.
Why can’t you do the same thing? Other than start up, manufaturing and all the other behind the scenes important stuff you do to get your ideas into our hands. I realize there is way more to it than just the idea, and the cost may be prohibitive.
Just a thought.
I like the stickers, but I don’t use them that often, so unless the new editions have very different colour schemes, I’m sure I’ll still have plenty. I do like the arrows, though, and would love to have more colours. I try to co-ordinate the colours or a decorative element between “matching” photos and journaling cards in order to show the visual link, but sometimes an arrow is the easiest way to do that.
I do like having the decorative journaling area and a blank area on the back, though — sometimes I want a pretty journaling card but have more to say than one side can hold, but not enough for a fold-out. Would you consider doing some with the “fillers” on the back and keeping some with the journaling space on the back for the “wordy” people like me?! Love that you’re adding more of the fold-out cards to each kit, though!
One other idea: journaling stickers! Sometimes I want to tell a story without a photo or use memorabilia in one of the journaling card slots. So if we had kit co-ordinated stickers with journaling space, to put directly on our photos, that would be awesome. I use other brands but it would be nice to have some that matched the core kit designs.
Off to see if the video is working for me…
Carmen.
Love the idea of little journaling/label stickers that match the kit! I sometimes need to journal on the back of cards too, but not very often. Half of the cards with extra journeling space on the back and half with filler coards on the back would be great!
Also, I sometimes open the bi-fold cards and stick it in a 4×6 space. I hope some of the bifold cards can be used for 4×6 spaces that are vertical and some for 4×6 that are horizontal…Maybe if they had a grid on them, instead of lines, they could be used either direction!
Content is blocked on your site and on You Tube. Drat!! I am in Ohio if that matters any ….
LOVE that your products will now be made in the USA. Makes me love them even more! And, I didn’t think that was possible ….
As for stickers … I love the arrow stickers and the clear day of the week stickers. I don’t use the others and always wish I had more clear day of the week stickers.
Thanks for being awesome and constantly striving to meet customers needs!
I can’t view the video in Illinois either, but I LOVE the changes you wrote about. I like being able to buy the stickers separately. Project life has really changed my whole outlook on scrapbooking – THANK YOU!!!! Can’t wait!!!
blocked in maine too! bummer. i also like the stickers.
Very cool! I personally don’t use the stickers but how about a roll of (washi) tapes for purchase like “week of: “. Then you can tear off a piece and stick it on your title square. So many options with tape.
blocked here in Nashville, TN too! Bummer! Can’t wait to see it. And on the stickers….I have so many left over from my previous 2 kits that I probably don’t need anymore right now anyway. I don’t use them on every photo/journaling card….not sure if other people do or not.
The video is blocked both on the blog and on You Tube and I am in Utah. I like the stickers but maybe if they are too much to print they can be offered as an online download and we can print them on Avery products or something and cut them out? That’s kind of a pain though. If they were separate I’m sure that would be fine too.
There were suggestions above for wash tape or stamps…both would be awesome and stamps would be REALLY awesome!
Blocked in Missouri, too. Dang!!
Blocked in So. Cali too. I really liked the arrow stickers.
Well I could not access the video, but read the text. Very exciting news, especially the horizontal and vertical on a lot of the cards! As for stickers, I rarely use them, and have more than I could ever use already. I think keeping them as an add on or not at all is terrific! THANKS for creating such a great concept, and more than that, for continually updating and improving it!
I love the color-matching stickers (Especially arrows and days of the week) but not the clear/white stickers.
I would love to see the arrows in more than one color for the kit. Especially the clementine…the orange is sometimes just too much.
SO EXCITED!!!!!!!
Matching washi tape?! DONE AND DONE.

I guess I’m happy then I did not have the possibility to get my hands on the Clementine core kit yet
Congratulations on this new venture. And I am sure you will find a way to bring back the stickers.
I’m very excited about the versitility of the cards being both vertical and horizontal. I don’t use many of the stickers, so them not being there is “not a big deal” for lack of a better term. How exciting!

Video is blocked and I’m in Washington State! Won’t work on Youtube either…The changes sound great and no biggie on the stickers… Maybe having an option on the blog that people could use the clear Avery labels in the smaller sizes to print them out…just a suggestion.
I just say, I’m a bit jealous. I got my core kit the day it came out and these new improvements have me wishing I had a reason to buy another one! Any chance you’ll be selling the journaling cards seperately?! (Please!)
Video blocked. I live in Las Vegas, NV.
The stickers are definitely my least used item in the current core kit, in fact I still have stickers left over from the original “Cherry” edition, Amber and now Clementine editions. Every so often I’ll throw on a day of the week sticker, but most of the time I put the day of the week in my journaling if it’s important. I have also very rarely put on an arrow sticker, and there are so many arrow options out there for cheap, it’s not a top priority IMO.

YAY: Cherry Edition coming back!!! YUM! YUM! (Have a friend who spent a mini-fortune on Ebay buying the original kit/binder set!!!!)
YAY: double sided cards. Awesome for verts, but ALSO fun to just have double-sided. I think I could use both sides, one photo holder, two layouts…one card! Awesome!!!!
YAY: more bi-fold cards!!!!!!!!!!!
BOO: Video not working in Seattle, WA.
BOO: Stickers. I love the arrows and numbers, although I never use up the numbers or days of week. Nice to have a couple, but not necessarily SO MANY. I can see having them seperate, though. And I get the expense issue, so do it!!! NOTE: I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE alpha sets that match core kit designs. I like to use alpha stickers here and there instead of my handwriting and have a hard time finding colors to match. And get bored with black all the time. And white isn’t all that easy to get. Just flat with, no glitter puffy business. So, I’d buy sets of alphas on the side. With lots and lots and lots of letters in each set!!!!
And BTW…YAY extra white/blank journal cards in recent kits. Those have come in handy, without having to buy an entire set of just whites. Although, I can see the value.
And YAY on adding awesome photo protector options recently! Very fun product line that just keeps growing and GROWING and GROWING!!!!!!!
I would love to have the option of buying alphabet stickers to match/coordinate the different designs as well!
Couldn’t watch the video on the website or Utube – blocked for me. I’m in AZ, USA.

Video worked in the UK – looks fantastic – well done Becky for all your hard work at producing PL in the US – so important to have it close to home!!! Yay for PL
x x
Im excited for the new products and officially addicted. I use the days of the week (both clear and colored) and the arrow stickers. I would buy extra days of the week in clear if you decided to split the stickers up into separate packs as I use extra of those on the page protectors if I slip in a 3×4 photo instead of a journalling card. I prefer the arrow stickers to be the same neutral colour like in the amber edition, when it was a complete kit. (not sure if those changed in the next round of core kits…)

Excited for the changes! I am new to PL and I just started an album with the Cobalt edition. Now, I Can’t wait to get my hands on the Cherry edition!
Video was blocked for me too – California =(
I use the number stickers and the arrow stickers in my everyday PL album. I will probably buy them separately when offered. I say “probably” because I suppose I could substitute other numbers/arrows that I have in my stash. But I like that they match and of course I trust the quality and appreciate the pricing from BH/PL
i’m in plano, tx and the video is blocked on your blog and on youtube.
Ok this comment is probably going to get lost in the 350+ comments already on here about the video, but here are my two thoughts:
1. I am using the stickers to number weekly shots of my son’s first year, and I have to cut apart the 10 sticker to get a zero; can stickers in the future just be numbers 0-9? That would be helpful.
2. I don’t really use the day stickers that much because my spread is more of a free-form how’s-the-week than a daily shot.
3. Will the backs of the cards be available as a digital download for those of us who already have, say, a Clementine kit?
Thanks!
Hi Becky, Video is blocked in Ratingen in Germany
I Love the day and arrow stickers. I would probably buy an add on kit if the price was right. What about paper arrows or dates that aren’t stickers? WE could staple them on or run through a xyron. Maybe you could add those back in for future kits? I personally will miss the square box because it sits on top of my desktop and I don’t have a drawer to hold this. But heck you can’t please all the people, so I’m sure it’s a change many will love.

Love all the changes! I think I am in the minority – but am actually doing PL on a monthly basis – kids out of house, so don’t have lots going on – but in the months there are lots of things to document, I can add pages. but love being able to look back at the year on a monthly basis. So appreciate your doing everything USA and that this keeps evolving – just like life!
Bless you and your team that keeps this so relevant and easy to do! Future generations will thank you! And so do I.
Love it! Now get it out! Lol!

Oh My Goodness!!!!! The changes are fab!!!! I have to say, I’m not too bothered about loosing the stickers as I only really use the arrow ones. I already have the Amber and Cobalt editions and have the Celmentine and Turquoise editions on pre-order, so really can’t wait for those now!!!! As for the Cherry edition, I have a feeling that that will be falling into my basket once it’s available!!!
I also wanted to say a HUGE thank you for bringing us Project life! My mojo up and went last year and I hadn’t scrapbooked for so long, now I do my project life and have even started an 8×8 album for my children, that is as well as our ordinary project life for the family, one for each of my two children AND one that I will be doing of out family holiday this year!!!!
Thanks again and keep up the good work xxx

Video blocked for me too, even on you tube.
Blocked in Iowa using Safari and Google Chrome. Can’t wait to see it when it gets fixed!
The video doesn’t work in WA state. I love the stickers, some funky arrows and #’s going up to 15 would be awesome for when you have a bunch of tiny pictures that you want to #. I don’t use the day stickers, but love the arrows
Maybe it would be better to offer them all individually, so people could ONLY order the arrows, or #’s instead of the whole set? So excited to see everything
Any decision make always seems to be the right one. You are always very conscious of the consumers and that is what makes your company outstanding! Didn’t get to see the video but I like the changes and gotta say for me personally only the arrow stickers will be missed. I rarely use the others. Now arrow stickers in different colors would be great!! Thank you for all you do Becky!!!!

Becky we just love you!! Thank you so much for yet again taking the time & consideration to give us such a wonderful update, I have never come across anyone who cares so much about their customers (the video worked fine here in Australia on both my Iphone & laptop, yes, I’ve watched it twice already!).
Re stickers – I do like and have used the Days of the Week stickers so some variation on that would be good, maybe a stamp like others have said. Not so worried about the numbers, I have used them but won’t miss them.
I have the Cobalt & Turquoise editions – can you or someone tell me what the pale blue cards are that are at 5.09 minutes or so into the video please? Are they from another edition or are they from the baby edition???? Really curious about that! Thanks again for everything, you guys rock!

Can’t see the video (I’m in the Seattle area) but the info looks great!
I’m from the Philippines.
Loved the video, loved the updates.
I wasn’t able to buy the core kit before – just the binder, cardstock and pocket pages. Can’t wait to order new core kits.
Thanks Becky!
Video is blocked for me in IL. I tried it in 2 different places too and still nothing:(
The changes sound wonderful. I really like the idea of having the backs of the journaling cards printed with a filler design. Also, title cards that can be used either vertically or horizontally. Wonderful ideas!! Kudos to you and your husband for keeping the manufacturing in the USA. I can’t wait to order another core kit and am anxiously waiting to hear your announcement that the kits are available again. Also anxiously waiting for the announcement that the new styles of page protectors are available for purchase.
Since you asked, the number and arrow stickers are my favorites and I would have no probem purchasing them as add-ons.
I have always been a little “afraid” of starting a 12×12 scrapbook (I’ve made a few smaller ones for grandchildren) until I discovered Project Life. Thank you for all your efforts to make it fun and “non-scary”. Your products are top of the line and I always feel confident purchasing them.
I am so bummed, I can’t watch it in CA on either site. But I loved what I read!
This is exciting news! i love the versatility with horizontal and vertical choices on the cards. Thanks for thinking ahead! As far as the stickers, I don’t find that I use them as much as I thought.
Video blocked here in Washinbgton DC
Video blocked in WI. The changes sound nice.
I love using the number stickers to mark a set of smaller pictures and then use just 1 journaling card for all the captions. Just started using the arrow stickers this year and i love them.

Still not working here in VA. Is this going to be available soon?
Ooh, how exciting! Congrats on these changes!!
As for the stickers – I would love it if you can find an option for the numbers. I love being able to use them as a journaling “key.”
Sure you’ve heard this more than once. But, it’s blocked on your blog and You Tube, probably the music you’ve used. And I’m in North Carolina.
Going back to read the details now, since I can’t watch.
Will the cherry binder be available as well as the kit? Love the changes – keep up the great work! I have sent so many people to amazon to get your products!!

BLOCKED Video in PA on you tube and on the web. I was so looking forward to seeing it too!
Becky, The video will not play on my new Windows 7 PC through Google Chrome. Is there another way to watch it?
could not watch in az
Becky,
The video is blocked, and I live in… UTAH !!! Please, help !!!
Hi Becky,
I love the changes to the cards, they will work so well with all the different page designs. I think it’s great that you are manufacturing them in your own country. After the GFC isn’t this what we all need to do?! The flat pack will fit my shelves really well too.
Jude
I don’t think that anyone in the United States can see it.
It doesn’t work in NC on either site (in Internet Explorer or Firefox)
So happy for you for the changes and the update!
If printing is changed to the US, does that change the price of the core kits by making them more expensive?
the video is blocked in California, too.
Video blocked in Rhode Island (same when I go to You Tube)
both videos blocked in Alaska

Thank you for the text. Sounds amazing
I get message stating that video contains WMG & UMG content and cannot be played in my country (USA). I get this message on both videos.
But… super excited by all of the updates. I personally am not using the stickers with my PL- use them for other projects though:)

The video is being blocked by YouTube in the entire U.S. due to alleged copyright violations against Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group, according to the error message being displayed.
This means Becky will either have to contest the alleged violations with YouTube or re-edit and re-upload the video to YouTube before anyone can view it in the U.S.
This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
Sorry about that.
Can’t watch it.
Well done Becky,
I am yet to buy a kit but have been contemplating for a while and I guess because they are out of stock hasn’t helped.
What an amazing thing to see your thoughts and dreams come alive in front of you. I am so happy to see somebody take a chance and for it to work.
Well done to you and David.
That is soooooooo cool! And I’m so glad the Cherry edition is making a comeback!! I can’t wait to see the new look Cherry binder, it’s going to be gorgeous! I’ve used both number and arrow stickers, and I’d love to keep using them! I’m not a one-photo-a-day girl, so I’ve not used any of the day stickers. Thanks for sharing the behind-the-scenes look!
Pam.
Adelaide, South Australia.
So I’m dreaming in my head of what the new packaging will look like and all the fun behind the scenes the video holds for us- patience right?!?! :O)
I for one LOVE all the stickers, if any are deleted I would hope it’s NOT the arrows!! If stickers are too expensive for the U.S, what about a 12×12 sheet of pop out arrows, numbers, days of the weeks etc? Often like us scrapbookers find at the sb stores where they match the paper line we love- ya know, thinner then diecut cutouts but along those lines??? know what I mean?
I just wanna say YEAY to MAKING IT IN THE USA!!!! This whole post made me smile after reading it was all being done in the USA!! I’m proud to stand behind your products and am thrilled that our USA workers can give us a quick and great quality product!!!
xoxo
Jen
Praying for you and your Co always!
I love the arrow stickers! I use them all the time.
Don’t use the stickers consistently. So I would not miss them. It would be a good opportunity to use some more of my other scrapbooking stash.
First of all- WOW you’ve been busy! I LOVE Project life and am thankful you really do listen to your consumers!!
Regarding the stickers:
I use the arrow stickers on every layout! I often go back and move the sticker around because I move the photos around, so a stamp would NOT be a alternative for me! I also use the day of the week stickers on every journaling card.. but I think I could easily replace that with a stamp or writing!
I love all of the stickers and use them for every day-hope they will still be available! I also am happy about there being more bi-fold cards…I’m a girl who does lots of journaling! Thanks for changing my scrapbooking life!
I’m a huge fan of your products and tell all of my friends about how great they are!
The video was great – nice to see the behind the scenes and the great changes you’re making to the cards. Sorry to hear so many wre having problems viewing video. I think you could you have music composition contest so that you won’t have any issues with the background music in your videos. It is so nice to have music to go along with the video and voice content. Thanks for keeping us so up to date. Neat to hear you’ll be producing locally and that it will allow you to get your great products out sooner.

dying to know WHEN the new core kits are coming out! I am ok with no stickers….
Excited to see the new kits!!! I am just about to finish up my first core kit so I need to order a new one soon! Perfect timing!
As for the stickers, I use the arrow ones on EVERY PAGE, so those are a must-have! I don’t use the days or numbers much. What I would love is a sheet of phrases like the “love this”…I would use those far more!
Great change on making the journaling cards more double-sided. Major plus, as I seem to always need more horizontal cards (I only use the grid ones for those slots).
BTW, since I’m leaving a comment, let me just add that I was new to PL just a couple few months ago…but I LOVE IT. I have never felt so caught-up on my memory keeping! It’s been so stinkin’ easy that I am even almost finished retroactively doing my son’s album (he’s almost a year old and all I had originally was a few preplanned traditional layouts that I made while pregnant). I’ll look forward to trying your new baby set when we have our next one!
I wouldn’t miss the stickers. Raredly use them, just because they’re there.
Thanks for Made in the USA – love it and appreciate it!
I really really love the stickers – doing a photo a day for my third year now so I love the stickers and have always used the colored day stickers (and am always VERY close to running out because I add small pics to some weeks too). I use the arrows too – keeping journaling with the photo. I kind of feel like the stickers are part of the core concept of Project Life so pleeeeeease Becky find a way to keep them for us!
Also… can you please bring back the tabbed cards!?! I miss the tabs a lot!! I love adding more journaling behind – and sometimes just receipts or photos. Without the tab, you don’t even know anything is there. (Keeping it simple by not making my own…) That’s the only thing I’ve missed about the latest kit.
Love the idea of the cards being more versatile – great idea! I have run out of filler cards and feel like I rarely use them… ?!
And I miss the monthly bookmarks/dividers that had matching designs.
New packaging sounds great – ran into problems with bent cards on the last setup.
Awesome work as usual, Becky!!
Amy Z
PS Re: stickers, I DO use the numbers too. Sometimes I wish they went to 31 to use as the dates but I do like 1-10 at least! Thanks!
I’m sorry but does anyone think it’s kind of funny/ironic that the big announcement stating that things will be made in the USA can’t be viewed in the USA?! That cracks me up.
I read someone else’s post that was missing the tabs on the fold out journaling cards. I miss those too. It gives the person a clue that there is more and they need to pull it out.
Wow that sounds fabulous. Love the other options you’ve included on the back of the cards. Every time you make a new announcement there are little tweaks that just make the kits so much better. I’m amazed. Thought they were great before, this is just the bee’s knees!
So excited to see you making the kits in the USA. The video wouldn’t play for me, but hubby did something (my computer guy) and I could watch it. So fun to see the manufacturing side of PL. I use the colored arrows and days. Never use the clear stickers or numbers. Are the new core kits the ones arriving at Amazon in early June?
Here in Arizona, also blocked (seems strange, I’m pretty sure you’re uploading it from here…). Very excited about the news though!
Bummer, can’t watch it in CA. The updates sound awesome though!
Mmmmm…same here blocked, on Becky’s Blog and the utube link you gave us?? Great news though as far as what I read. The stickers, don’t care for them, don’t really use them. So no problem there, would not miss them. Thanks for always making it bigger and better:)
I can see the video (from Brisbane, Australia).
Also, I would love to still be able to buy the arrow stickers, I use them on nearly every journalling card (to point to which photo the card relates to). I love the sound of the new kits, especially having filler cards on the back of each journalling card – I had used up all my filler cards, and had to make some for myself out of PL cardstock. I’ll definately be buying another Cobalt kit for the rest of this year, just to get these extra filler cards!
I am thrilled with all the changes and improvements. “Reversible” cards will be so versatile, and I am delighted that the Cherry Edition will be available again.
The only stickers I use regularly are the arrows. I would like to be able to buy them separately, but it’s a low priority for me.
I am in the U.S. and can’t view the video from your blog or from the YouTube link. It says, “This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.” I am dying to see it, so I hope you get the technical issues resolved soon.
Thank you!
having the same viewing issues
but thanks for Made in the USA!!
Yea!
The only thing I use regularly are the arrows – but i wouldn’t really miss them – maybe thinner die cuts with more than one style arrow?
As if us scrappers don’t have nine different types of adhesive at our fingertips at any given moment
No video.
Okinawa, Japan.
Totally good with no stickers. Thanks for all the updates/improvements on the other products. Can’t wait to see them.

Can’t watch it.
BLOCKED!!
still blocked! =(
I love the day and the arrow stickers and I watched the video no probs!!
I LOVE the day stickers….I use them on EVERY journal card. The other stickers I haven’t used but my girls LOVE them for their projects!
Thanks for all the updates…I CAN NOT wait to see you guys come up with next!!
I watched the video (Ottawa ON Canada) It was so fun to see all the work that goes into such a big project! Thanks for posting that.
Very excited about this news!
I am a big PL fan and am loving this project.
One confession: I have been blog-stalking you daily to see when you might have more news about PL Baby addition to your products, as we’re expecting a new baby in two or three weeks and I am reaaaallllllyy hoping that your new edition will be arriving around the same time (or soon thereafter…please??)
Hey Becky – I get message stating that video contains WMG & UMG content and cannot be played in my country (I’m in the USA), and I get it for both videos. Sorry I can’t view them.
Wow, it looks great. I hope it does mean faster production because I ordered my PL kit in January for 2011 and it’s still on back order! I live in canada, but that’s a crazy long time to wait! Sad about the stickers, but it’s not the end of the world.
Can’t watch
Still waiting to view the video. But I can certainly live without the stickers. I like the idea of reversible cards; I don’t often use the filler cards. I *love* the idea of the vertical date cards. I did a vertical page recently and ended up putting my date card on the right side of the layout because that one was horizontal. I love the idea of vertical and horizontal journaling cards too.
One note – I have never folded the bi-fold cards. I prefer all my journaling to be visible. So I only ever use them open in the 4×6 slots, but I don’t like that they are too small.
I too like all my journaling visible and apen the folding cards and stick them in a 4×6 slot. Bothers me that they are too small too.
Can’t see the video either here in North Carolina. It says…video contains WMG & UMG blah blah blah.
Anyway, super excited about all the reprints and yes love the day/date cards, stickers, etc. But I just love all that you do, cause your attention to detail is excellent.
Thanks for ALL you do…and your hubby and others!
I only use the arrow stickers, but drawing an arrow is doable, to no biggie. And I am sooo excited about the cherry edition! YAY!
I’m so excited by all of these updates!! I Love, Love, Love the fact that the page title cards will have the same graphic on the back in a vertical orientation. You’ve been very busy! I’m new to PL this year and I have to say that it’s gives me such a sense of accomplishment when I put my pages together on Sunday night/Monday afternoon. It’s also so nice to show off the pictures I’ve taken instead of hiding them on my hard drive! My family loves to look through it and I’m proud to share it too. Thank you Becky (and of course David!)!!
I can’t view the video on your blog or on You Tube and I’m in MN.
Nope. Can’t see it in UT either. :/ Sounds wonderful, though! Are these changes that will take effect immediately, when you restock the core kits? Or are they for the “new” 2013 release?
Hi, Both videos were blocked in Arizona. Sorry
Both videos blocked. But the changes seem good. I love that the weekly cards will work either direction now. I will miss the stickers though. I loved the little day stickers – used them all the time. But it’s not a huge issue… thanks for continuing to work at improving an already awesome system.
Thank You for the Video! It’s great!
Please add number and day stickers ))

The changes sound wonderful.
I’m on my third year of Project Life
I use the arrow stickers and day of the week stickers on every day, but wouldn’t mind stamping those instead. How about making days of the week stamps and some cute arrow stamps in the same size as the stickers?
Are the core kits expected in late June the new made in the USA kits? Can’t wait.
Glad to hear you are bringing back the production to the good ole USA. Actually I find the stickers to be the least useful part of the kit, so I’m glad you are putting other content in instead.
I love the tab on the bifold cards as well. Another question that I haven’t seen yet, is are you moving the plastics to the US as well? I know those are overseas but I didn’t see that being addressed.
I just showed 2 yrs of PL to a friend and she LOVES it! She can’t wait to check it out!
Do like the stickers in clear white or clear with coordinating colors for putting on top of photos
I got an error message in watching the video. It said, “This video contains contents from WMG and UMG, one or more have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.”
I love the new ideas! Thanks Becky!
Wow, I am so excited about the different orientations and the filler cards. I just finished (yesterday!) my first PL album (did all of 2011 in 3 months because your system is awesome) and the not having horizontal cards was the only part that really gave me trouble. I didn’t use the stickers at all. Glad they will be gone! Thanks for your great products.
[...] announcement this week arguably came from Becky Higgins, and it was about Project Life, of course. Details of the announcement are a bit sketchy because Becky’s announcement video is currently unavailable for viewing. [...]
I get the same weird message on your site and youtube…drat…would love to see the video!
Becky – I live in the good old USA and get the same error message as reported by several others – Barbara
So excited for new kits! But, I do use and love the day, color number, and clear number stickers. I don’t use the arrow stickers. The stickers are great for identifing which cards go to which pictures. If it needed to be a separate pack, thats sounds just fine.
I’d love to see the video, but I can’t see the video. Update us and let us know if things change! I’d love to see the new packaging and whatever else you will show!
As far as stickers go, I do like having the arrow stickers and the days of the week. I am not feeling married to the shape of the day stickers, though. Maybe it’s just me (I wouldn’t be surprised…) but I have a hard time getting those stickers to line up straight when I use them! Maybe if they were a little bigger? I don’t know. Number stickers are nice as well because they help me when I am trying to journal about multiple pictures on one card.
Thanks for all you do to help make my job as a memory-keeping mom easier!
Becky, would love to see the video, however, the same message that appears on youtube also appears here on your blog. I live here in Maryland, and it won’t play.
The video hasn’t worked for me either– both here on your Blog and YouTube Channel.
I’m on a Windows PC in South Dakota, using the Firefox browser. Hopefully you can get it to work soon– I can’t wait to see the changes!!!
I’ve been unable to start Project Life because I’ve been waiting for the Clementine Core Kit to be restocked. I was definitely looking forward to the stickers, so I’d love to have the option to purchase them as an add-on. Thank you, Becky AND David, for your dedicated and hard work!!
♥ ♥ ♥
Great ideas for the more versatile journaling cards…filler design on the back of each card and to be able to use some of them either horizontally or vertically…genius! I’m really looking forward to using them!
Also looking forward to the new versatile title cards!
I use the arrow stickers on every weekly layout and occasionally use the number stickers…so would love to be able to buy them as an add-on…the more colorful the better! I don’t use the day stickers at all.
Thank You!
Exciting news! I do love the stickers though… particularly the days and arrows and the clear ones. Never use the number ones except on other projects.
Can you tell us how to search for it in YouTube?
I am excited to hear about the additional options for the versatility of the cards. My one suggestion would be that I would miss having journal options on both sides of the cards. I often write on both sides to cut down on the waste. I wouldn’t mind some as the filler/journal option; but honestly, I have not used any of the filler cards so far this year. For me having all filler/journal would mean a bunch of waste as opposed to the way I use them now.
I rarely use the stickers currently, so that having those separate will be more efficient with the way that I use the system.
It is always exciting to hear how Project Life continues to develop and emerge. I am really excited for “Cherry”. I will probably be buying the digital version soon as well.
I also wanted to send a quick note in reference to your video/post requesting feedback for your upcoming class – I know that anything from you focusing on Cultivating a Good life will be worth the money!
Hi everyone. It’s Saturday May 19. I have posted the video again – via Vimeo this time. Can’t view it here in the post? Be sure to try the link under the video to view it on Vimeo.
Still can’t view it? Please let me know where you’re located.
Congratulations on such a great adventure! Kudos to you & your team for working so hard to bring the manufacturer home. I’ve spent a lot of time in production areas proofing printed products so it was great to see that; brought back a lot of memories. Loved the video of the tray process! Thanks so much for your great products, Becky. Now I’m glad that I’ve not been able to order that core kit that’s been out of stock for the past 3+ months. :0)
Becky,
This looks amazing and I am excited for all the new updates. Thank you so much for all the time, effort and love you put into scrapbooking for everyone. We know how much you care and these new products will be fabulous. So excited you could have them made in AMERICA!!!!
GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!!!
I want to say thanks for all your hard work into making a great product and taking opinions into account. The paper looks awesome and I honestly can not wait to get a hold of everything. Since I started using the products it has helped me get back into finishing my girls albums and have fun which is key for me. I am glad you are making the products here in USA. Congrats to you and your wonderful team. Can’t wait for the children products to come out.
Hi Becky,
The changes that you have made are amazing! It will be wonderful to have the weekly cards with horizontal and vertical orientation. THANK YOU!! Made in U.S.A. is fantastic! Project Life continues to be a wonderful gift to my family. Thank you again.
Awesome!! I think this is all good… I just love that you are bringing production to the USA. I gottal tell you, I am a little embarassed by this, but the video made me a little emotional….eyes filled up..must have been the music! I just think you have such a great product here, and now it is even better!!! Love the changes you made…Thanks for all you do…and Congratulations to you…this is a BIG deal!!
Thank You! Thank You! So very EXCITING! Have a GREAT weekend!
I don’t know why this video made me so emotional. It is so great to have this made here in the USA. I didn’t think I could LOVE Project Life any more than I do now, but I really do. Having it manufactured here in the USA just adds another love for it. Great Job Becky and I can’t wait to order!!
I told my husband that the new core kits and plastics and albums are my anniversary/mother’s day project. I already ordered a ton of plastics and albums and can’t wait for the core kits. I have BIG BIG plans to redo my weddding album and Memphis trip I took with my grandma a few years back.
Yeah for “Made in the USA”! Good job Becky and team.
I loved the video and seeing how PL is manufactured. Congratulations and continued blessings!
The video works!!! woo hoo!
Will we be able to purchase just the plastic tray???? I would love to put my old kits in the new trays!!!
Thanks for this wonderful product!
Could see the video this morning and my goodness! I’m crying! What a dork I am. But there was something so moving about your excitement, the music, the fact its being made here in the USA, and for the love of this awesome product! Thank you Becky for all you and David do. You are simply AWESOME.
This is SO EXCITING. I had big tears in my eyes as I was watching your video. I’m so happy for your success. You have worked hard to earn this!!
Total amazing Becky? What a surprise it would be if I could have a kit for my birthday…today! Just saying!
I would gladly pay more for a product made in the USA….no worries here and thank you for all the work you put into this and making this happen.
Wow, I’m stunned at how much more vibrant the colours are in the new cherry kit! I used it last year and it was nowhere near as bold. Love the changes – very exciting! Can’t wait until it’s available – guess I have a little time to decide what I’ll be using next year
WTG Becky! BTW, both videos worked great for me (in Canada using Firefox 11.0 browser). I wonder if those having trouble have updated their browsers recently …
Hi Becky! I am so glad that I was able to see the video! You continue to amaze and inspire me with your devotion to Project Life and your dedication to the good old USA!!! So wonderful that the products will be made HERE!! I am so proud of you!!! This summer I am focusing on simplifying my life – I am in the process of purging all of my STUFF right now!! I hope all of the kits (childhood kits included) will be available by mid summer so I can start working on my books!! God bless you and David!!
Instead of stickers, could a stamp set or rolling stamp be an option? I love these kits, but have ended up using a random stamp out of my collection if I needed an arrow because I never liked the gold color they came in. Just a thought.
Just checked back to try and see your video again, and there it was. Loved it. Thanks for bringing the printing “home”. I am new to PL, meaning I haven’t actually used it yet. I’ve been slow to change over from the traditional scrapbooking, I have so much product. I have purchased some of your plastics, and just bought some of the paper on your Amazon sale. I’ve been thinking how I will incorporate my traditional with PL and its doable. Can’t wait to get my hands on the new core kits. Is there a way when you magnify product that it can be larger so patterns and detail will be more magnified??? That would make my decisions easier. Maybe you could do that on your blog even if Amazon can’t??? Anyway, I am an excited new comer. What idea’s do you have for those of us starting in the middle of 2012 instead of the beginning of the year??? Love your way of thinking
Lots of trial and error on the box part but it looks like it will be a good one! I really like the boxes from this year too. I don’t ever use the stickers from the kits so I wouldn’t miss them
USA ! Yes! Much better! Stickers not needed – by me. Box not important as I put mine in a creative wooded whimsical silverware carrier anyway that looks like a flowered picket fence…
And especially glad to hear that the turnaround time on reordering is so much shorter ! Go USA! That is the BEST part of this all!
AMAZING!!!!!!!! I love the new tray and was so excited to see USA production.
I bought a set of plastics a few months ago, but the core kit I wanted wasn’t available. Is it safe to assume that the core kits coming out in June will fit the plastics I just purchased? Just wanted to make sure because the sizing changed after the Original Edition.
I love Project Life! Scrapbooking is manageable now!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that you brought manufacturing home to the good ol’ USA! So proud! Another reason to love PL!
Thank you, Becky & David for your attention to detail. Seriously…the raised bottoms of the tray sections…no more bent edges…brilliant!
As for stickers…I agree with the masses…no worries here! We know you’ve got us covered.
So wonderful to see production of the kits here in the US and in the Phoenix area no less! (Fellow East Valley/Arizonian here!)
I have to say that I LOVE Project Life. I just started my first albums digitally this past month for my two young daughters. I scrapbooked when I was in HS/College 10 years ago but stopped because I couldn’t keep up and had a creative meltdown after I’d pull out all the paper, embellishments, etc and couldn’t come up with an ‘idea’. Now with Project Life I have pictures to look at again. It is simple and so beautiful! The focus is on the pictures and our memories. I’ve pulled out my journals from when my 1st daughter was a baby and have been adding those memories as my ‘journaling’ on my layouts. So many little things I’d already forgotten about that first baby and my first memories as a new mom. It has been such a wonderful experience to go back and read through those memories and match them with pictures.
My two and a half year old loves sitting on my lap and looking at ‘her pictures’. My husband loves it because I take most of the pictures, many during the day, so there were many that he had never seen. I love it because I finally am accomplishing that HUGE item on my ‘to-do’ list…figuring out baby books! I also am preserving what makes our family OUR family…our memories. I am sure you hear this all the time…but THANK YOU. Thank you!
ps…Once I found out about the baby kits coming out soon, I slowed down my pace because I think I want to use those products for those first year pictures.
Was able to watch the video – thank you for changing it!
SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited these are ♪♫made in the USA ♪♫!!!!!! Can’t wait until it’s back in stock at Amazon
Cool! The next development we Aussies would love to see is opening up purchasing on Amazon for all of us – buying via an international distributor means the core kit + album+ plastics cost me over $200 this year, up from $92 for the previous two years. Frustrating when, even with the cost of shipping, the strong Aussie dollar means it would cost us a fraction of that to buy from Amazon
Something to please, please consider?!
I was able to watch the video today, I did read the post so I knew about the changes but it was cool to see the new tray & the whole process. Very exciting stuff!!
Love the fact that you are bring the making of the cards to the USA! Made in the USA is the best! I am sad to hear the stickers will not be included in the kits. I use them all the time. Please product those in a separate kit that we can buy! Thanks!
Ooo sounds amazing with all the extras, not having the stickers is not a problem for me – I was just really looking forward to getting my core kit in that little box lol (it would have looked cute sitting on my desk)
x
I don’t usually comment on your blog, but I just wanted to say how impressed I am not only by your creativity, but by your dedication and drive in developing Project Life. Seeing this video really made me realize just how much work goes into making Project Life a reality. I absolutely love your products. You have made recording our loves so much easier. While I don’t use the core kits, I prefer only the photo pocket pages and the grid journaling cards myself, I definitely still appreciate how solution-based (and yet fun!) all of your products are. So thank you and I hope you allow yourself a break every once in awhile because it looks like you definitely deserve it.
WOW Becky! Thanks for the great behind the scenes look. You guys really put so much time into PL and are constantly improving it! I think bringing the cherry edition into the line up is a great idea.
Of the stickers included, I occasionally use the arrow stickers- no biggie though. What I do (did) use a lot of was multi colored small alphabet stickers from my stash. I used them alot and now they are almost gone- wasn’t able to find more at Joanns or Michaels. I used these to spell out the names of my dtr and her friend on a playdate or to spell the name of our pet or a place we went. I had quite a few in different color tones, but none quite matched the core kit colors the way I would have liked. If you are going to make stickers as a separate add on item, would it be possible to get small multi colored letters that match the kit? By multi color, I mean there may be 5 A’s on a sheet, each one in a different color. Thanks again for all your time and effort!
Bekcy!!! Thank you for employing great people in the Phoenix area. My husband works for a printing company and there aren’t many left. This video brought tears to my eyes. Knowikng you are supporting our citizens and their families make me sooo proud! THANK YOU! Now big question who is the printer? We couldn’t quite figure it out bc there aren’t but a few in the valley who hanlde big print jobs.
Yay!!! Sucj exciting news. Can’t wait for the baby kit. Our first grand baby is due this October.
Just viewed the video and I am soooooo glad that you are producing in the US. I have made a conscious effort in the past few years to try to purchase my scrapbooking supplies from companies that produce in America. It’s not easy and your change makes me so happy. I would definitely pay a little more. I can’t wait to see all the new options.
Are the bi-fold cards true 4×6 now?
Finally got to view the video…I can hardly imagine the pride you must have had walking through both manufacturing sites. I know that hundreds if not thousands of hours have been put into this endeavor. Thank you for not being content to keep manufacturing overseas and for knowing that Made in the USA is the best thing for our country and your company. I hope you get a little time off very soon to sit back and enjoy the rewards of all of your time and attention to every detail.

I won’t miss the stickers, I have ton left over from previous kits, so if I need some I have them. I will miss the boxes the journaling cards came in, so great for on the go journaling. I will save the previous boxes and use them again and again. I think it is great that the core kits and I assume cardstock will now be made in the usa.
Tricia, I have 4 of the boxes that held the cards. I don’t use them. I’ld be happy to send them to you. I could pop them in an envelope ‘cuz they can be folded them flat. Though I’m sure we would have to be creative in sharing emails so we don’t get spammed, etc…
The video does not show here on the blog.
At Vimeo, the video shows but when it is clicked, nothing happens.
You obviously have something wrond with both locations.
I’m using Windows and Firefox.
Thanks for taking us backstage. That was fun. I won’t miss the stickers. I will, however, miss the plain lined back of the journaling cards. I sometimes flip them over and use them that way when I don’t care for the design on the front. I don’t use filler cards much. I have a lot to say!
Thanks for working on the video–working great now and was fun to see. Happy to buy the stickers separately, especially when it helps keep the cost down. I am thrilled!!! to see the Cherry edition. Thanks for that–it’s beautiful. I can tell you guys have been uber busy getting this all switched over, and as a customer, I love it all. Producing in the USA is such a great thing on so many levels (not the least of which is our economy!) and the product changes are so thoughtful and great. Keep up the amazing work!
I am so glad to see that your wonderful products are now made in the U.S.A. As a Patriot Mom, I think it’s awesome!
I love using the sticker cards (arrows and numbers) would love to be able to purchase them separately. Will they still coordinate with the kits (I hope so!)? You could probably offer a neutral version too! If you are printing up just stickers, it would awesome if you printed stickers like the “extra elements” that are offered in the digital versions!
LOVE YOUR PRODUCTS!
Oooooh – LOVE the “extra elements” sticker idea
Did not read through all 540 comments to see if someone has already said this, but for the stickers (and totally fine with me that they are separate) I’d actually love to have 1-31 number stickers — to allow for date indicating…
I would love this as well.
No need for the stickers. Thank you for giving us that option. I love everything, but what I love MOST is that you brought this to the USA. Thank you for giving our men and women jobs!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for the new product!!!!
I love that you have chosen to produce in the US!!! I love your enthusiasm and all you hard work!!
I am bummed that the journalling cards will have a printed design on the back instead of the lines like the most recent cards. I have used PL for 4 years now and loved the lines on the back!
Thank you for all you do, I LOVE PL and can’t imagine life without it.
I too am bummed that the second side of writing space is going. I always was able to use both sides to write so I didn’t have to add another card. Now we will have to use more paper… We can’t have everything, can we?
This is so exciting!!! As fa as stickers go, I use the arrow stickers in every single one of my spreads. The other ones I can take ‘em or leave ‘em.
Great changes, Becky! I appreciate that they are now made in the USA. I keep reading about this product, but I have never taken the plunge! After seeing this product being used by Ali Edwards, I can now see the versital the products can be. Congratulations on your success!
Becky & David, I LOVE Project Life. Love the designs, love the idea behind it, love your ingenuity. I really didn’t think I could love it more. Honestly. But now that it’s MADE IN THE USA, let me tell you that my patriotic heart did cartwheels upon learning that bit of news! I am a single mom and can’t afford to buy it all but let me tell you that I will be saving my pennies so I can buy every single core kit, because I know I will use it, and because it pleases me that much that my purchase will stimulate a LOCAL economy. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the very bottom of my heart for making this product, for making it affordable, for making it awesome, and, above all, for MAKING IT IN THE USA. Blessings, Martha S. in San Antonio, TX
Hi Becky!! Thanks for the video, it is amazing all that goes into your kits. I love that you are now making them in the USA!! You and David have done an amazing job and should be so proud of yourselves. I can’t wait for the Cherry Edition of Project Life!! I met you many years ago at a CHA in Chicago. You are a very friendly, warm person and you and your family deserve all your successes. Thanks for opening my eyes to what scrapbooking is all about and how simple it is now that I’m not spending so much money on embellishments that I can’t seem to find a use for!!
God bless you and your family!!
I loved your products before, but now, I love them even more! Thank you for eliminating the styrofoam piece and using materials that are recyclable.
Thanks so much for bringing it state-side. My husband worked 20+ years in printing industry and the combination of post-911 factors, computers/technology, sending stuff overseas, etc caused the demise of the company he worked for as well as many other printers and related print industries. Time marches on bringing change with it. Printers are among the largest group of small business – that and food establishments. So thank you for supporting your local folks out there. You really will have much better quality control being closer to where its printed. It was fun to watch the video – I am going to send the link to my husband as I know he will get a kick out of it – bridging what I love with what he studied and did for as many years. Thanks again Becky.
Got my hubby to watch and he was very impressed. He said that you, your company, and your video should be broadcast out into the airwaves as how to be an example of how small businesses can show the ‘big companies’ how to do it, how to bring work here, etc. He commented: that it was probably no easy task but that you took the jump and kudos to you, that the products will have better quality control being closer to you/crew checking on them, congrats to the local companies that are involved.
We all need to remember when we shop that cost does determine quality and be willing to spend the extra $ if quality is important.
I am beyond excited about it being made in the U.S.A!!! Super excited about the versatility of the journaling cards! It would be nice be able to fit the cardstock in the new core kit box for storage.
I’ve noticed that some of the core kits include cards with the year “2012″ printed on them. When you begin the new prints will these come out with 2013? If not when will they be available with 2013? Love the changes, and I can’t wait to see the new kits & get mine to begin next year!!
It was so great to see the behind the scenes view — thanks for sharing that with us! As far as the changes, I love the title cards having the versatility now, that’s awesome! I haven’t used one sticker yet, so, that won’t be missed, BUT, I almost always use the back side of the journaling cards to fit everything I have to say, so I’ll have to figure out a new plan for that. Anyhow, you’re awesome, and David, too
Keep up the great work!
Awesome!! More companies need to bring their manufacturing, computer programming, etc. jobs back to the US! More work in US = more US workers working!
Thank you for “fixing” the video – I just love “hearing” from you! Having followed your blog for a few years now, when products were held up in customs before I would be screaming – “print it in the USA!” Thank you so much for providing jobs and giving those of us in the printing industry such great, positive exposure! Thank you for doing what you do for us…
Just wanted to add my support of your USA manufacture!!
Ok, First off THANK YOU…I am so happy this is all coming from the usa!!! I seriously was considering not purchasing anymore because of that reason. SO I too am so happy. The video was awesome and made me more proud to be a american. People just do NOT get it…liitle things like this is a VERY big deal. If more companies would “do” as you have done we would be a better place, more jobs. ect. So AGAIN thankyou!!! The new tray looks awesome. all just good stuff. But honestly I am just so happy. GO USA!!!
Oh my I’m SO HAPPY and excited that you’ve decided to print in the USA!!!! I was teary eyed watching that when you said that it’s being made here.
I’m sure the quality will be great! There are so many hard working printing people that really believe in their craft. I’m just so happy! I LOVE the new design of the tray. I liked the card decks but for me it was kind of a pain to pull them all out and search for the one I wanted… this looks so much easier. Love the 2 sided cards too. More filler choice YAY!!!
Like Katie K on May 20 @ 1:38pm – my husband worked in printing and binding for 20+ years and like she said, so many things have gotten shipped over seas after 911 it was depressing to watch a thriving industry shrink. He’s lost 2 jobs in over the past 11 years due to lost business. So I’m so excited to see someone in the SB industry bring it home!!
I’m sure I sound sappy but wow that means a lot that you’ve heard and listened.
Sending a BIG HUG! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!
Hi Ann,
I hope your family is doing ok. Every time I saw a little news item about another printer closing or paper manufacturer shutting a mill, etc – it was a reminder of what some families were about to go through when the same had happened here. While change is usually good, transitions aren’t always easy or smooth. Switching to computer-based job in print industry wasn’t an option for my DH. Since we in the SB industry and hobby use paper so much and have seen ourselves the (pros/cons) impact on digital to our industry, it is all the more a confusing place when your families livelihood depended on printing.
Woohoo! Love that you were able to bring manufacturing to the states! I like the dual sided cards, so much more versatile! Loved the video….I actually kind of got choked up hearing Toby Keith’s song in the background!
AWESOME video! I was almost in tears while I watched it. Thank you for all your hard work Becky!!
Blessings to you and everyone working with/for you!!
Sarah
Thank you, Becky, for moving things back to the US! And thank you for using recyclable materials. It’s clear that you have been listening to your customers and are WAY ahead of other companies in these ways. I love that the title cards will be both horizontal and vertical – I’ve thought in the past that that would be a wonderful idea.
I really appreciate the move to the US! You rock, Becky!
Wow is all I can say! Such careful and streamlined thinking and planning is SO evident in all these changes. Amazing!
Oh and a thumbs up on the US printing. My husband and I really try to buy as many products as possible that are made here…
I’m pretty sure that was one of the coolest videos I’ve ever seen! I’ve always been curious about how things are made, and now I have a better understanding of all the hard work that goes into each and every kit. Kudos to you and David for bringing your products to american factories! I also love how you’re using recycled materials. I am a little bummed that the stickers won’t be included in the core kit anymore as I do use them regularly, but I’m okay with purchasing them separately as long as they aren’t too expensive.
Thanks so much for always keeping us updated!!!
I would imagine that you will sell even more project life because of the Made in the USA aspect. My husband has worked in manufacturing for years and has said that our economy is terrible because so much work is going overseas. SO, THANK YOU from mainstream America! We need to bring products back to the U.S. and you are part of the solution. If everyone would do their part, all of us would be so much better off! Can’t wait to get my Made in the USA project life kit!!!
I forgot to ask about the 3×4 plain grid journaling cards. Are those still going to be in the core kits? I didn’t notice them in the tray on the video.
I love the fact that the journalling cards are going to have the filler card patterns on the back. But I am also going to miss the plain lined backs for extra journalling or when a plain card is needed instead of a patterned one. I was just wondering, would it be possible to have one side of the 3 x 4 plain grid journalling cards with lines, and the other side with the grid. Then we can get the best of both worlds.
Also another question, I am in New Zealand and your NZ distributor currently has no core kits in stock but we can pre-order them. If I do pre-order, will they be the new core kits or is there more of your old kits to be distributed around the world and sold yet?
Thanks heaps Becky, I love Project Life sooooooooo much
What a great idea to have a filler card at the back of the journaling cards!!!
Will the “blank” journaling cards still be in the core kit?
Will you consider to make a punch the size of the journaling cards? so I can easily fit photos in the pockets.
I would buy that punch immediately with rounded corners and with straight corners.
Thank you Becky, for project life
After viewing the video I am more excited than ever about PL being manufactured here in the United States. I love the idea of each journaling card having a filler card on the back, I don’t often write on the back but if I feel the need a 4X6 journaling card will do the trick. I do hope the grid cards still come with the core kit but if they don’t I will happily buy them separately. I love the idea of a punch the size of the journaling cards someone mentioned above, if you make one I would certainly buy it.
Becky, what you and your company do is amazing, you make this wonderful and important hobby easy and affordable for us, you bring work to our manufacturers here in the U.S. and you, yourself share such important family values and morals to “cultivate a good life” with all of us. I think perhaps that is what I find most appealing about your company, your values.
Thank you Becky
I didn’t read through all the comments but wanted to tell you that I love that you are printing in the US. Yes, a Boston liberal is patriotic too!!! LOL! I can imagine that the quality is going to be amazing and I love the fact that you are giving jobs to people in our country who really need them. KUDOS! I am happy to pay a little more to get better quality, that is for sure. As for the stickers, I would still love the option to purchase them individually. Thanks for all your hard work! I am dying to see your themed kits that you have been hinting about.
YAHOO for using American labor! Of course you’re doing so because the best quality + price are available here — which means Americans are the best. Nice!
I have to tell you that you enunciate very clearly. My sound is kaput presently yet I understood 90%+ of your dialogue when I could see your face. Awesomeness for those who can’t hear.
I’m still keeping up with my PL and I think it’s fabulous that it will now be Made in the USA!
Loving the project life thing.
Can we please have some 00000 on the stickers cards, how about some hearts. Glad to hear the card stock will be slightly better quality, I was disapointed with the quaility. Everything else was perfect with my core kit worth the wait.
Hope everyone has a perfect day
I like the new packaging tray. I love that it is going to be made in the USA!
I am bummed that there will not be any stickers in the core kit. I plan to do project life for years to come, so I don’t like the idea that I will have to pay extra to have the arrow, date and number stickers. And it sounds like what will be offered will be quite pricey. I may just have to figure something else out.
Just testing out the comments to make sure it’s working ok.
MADE IN THE USA!!! YYYEEEESSS! So excited mostly about that! So glad to hear Becky Higgin’s project life supporting our local works and economy! Way to go! So excited for the new stuff to come out!
I am so excited to start scrapbooking with Project Life. The updates sound great, and I’m looking forward to placing my first order in June! Thanks for giving us a peak at the process.
LOVE this Video Becky! The behind the scenes look at printing makes us giddy! This is a large run process, we loved watching the calibration process! These machines are amazing!
The “persnickety” steps you are taking in having more control over your printed product is AWESOME! Keep it up….
Will you be offering the box & tray for purchase to those of us who are using older versions? I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new storage! SO much easier in SO many ways! THANK YOU!
I’m glad about it all but still it’s hard to get it abroad. Amazon just won’t ship it to Brazil. Is there anything doable in this respect? Thank you
Becky,
I confess that I cried when I learned that the kits will now be manufactured in the USA!! I am more than willing to pay more for a product made in America. I do hope the days of the week sticker will be still available, I really like them. Thank you for bring your production home!!
Best Wishes,
Darlene
I am itching to get my hands on all the collections. So please hurry and put me out of my misery. I am constantly checking amazon for all the products in your collection. Love Cynthia
Wow Becky! I just watched the video. THANK YOU for bringing your manufacturing back to the U.S.A. Just one more thing to love about Project Life!
Will you keep the 2012 art that is currently in the Cobalt kit, or are you planning to make them more universal so they can be used every year?
Will you come out with new designs for 2013?
So happy I found project life!
Just wanted to say I’m loving all the improvements you’re making – made in the USA, double sided cards with horizontal & vertical options – LOVE THIS!, extra jornaling & bi-fold cards, and better quality.
Thank you!
And, personally I’m totally fine with the subtraction of the stickers. The way I’m going this year I think I’m going to have a bunch left anyway.
I really cannot give you enough praise for your PL system. It has really given me back my love for a hobby that I had set aside due to lack of time, motivation, you name it.
I’m sure your new product idea list is miles long but I Just wanted to add my vote for 3×4 punch
I love that you’ve moved your production to the US. I also love that you’ve included more Bi-Fold and Journaling cards. I do wish that every journaling card didn’t have a filler design on the back and would rather see some of them with journaling lines on both sides.
I am very disappointed in the new tray design. My kit sits on my desk and I really like the design of the old boxes, it is very convenient to work out of without taking up too much space.
I’m one of those who uses the stickers and would defnitely like to see them offered as an add-on if you’re not going to include them in the core kits. And as someone else suggested, I would love to see a punch the size of the journaling cards!
I will be a first time user so the current information you have shared is very exciting to me. No question but that I will continue to read any updates and plan to order as soon as the products are available….SOON I hope!
I love the idea of project life but have found it hard to get supplies in Perth , Australia . Can you help ?i woul like to do this next year for my special year of turning 60 yrs .
Thx Janet

THANK-YOU for bringing an AMERICAN idea back HOME for AMERICAN production for AMERICAN consumption! We LOVE our foreign friends and the wonderful products you can only consume within their countries made by their countrymen!
Inquiring as to the location of the mfg. of the protectors? Totally wish you’d adapt your wonderful protectors to an 8.5 X 11.5 size as well! This would’ve worked brilliantly for the GR 8 Project I’m attempting to finalize for our daughters best friend.
Looking forward to JULY on the release of your LATEST & GREATEST additions!
TFS…
I am soooooooo excited that you are made in USA!! I have been trying to only buy from made in USA companies and was overjoyed to find the video and will now be able to check out this great system. Thank you sooo much for doing this! You won’t be sorry. The USA has always made quality products and now crafters have to power to let their money do the talking and support these awesome companies! Thank you Becky!
i feel the same as Angie!
It was wonderful seeing the video on the printing of the new core kits. i’ve been patiently waiting for some product. I’m new at this form of scrapbooking, and couldnt fine any product except for page protectors. So opted to print some for my self. Not working out so well. I can’t waite for new kits to be availble at Amazon
I think it’s awesome that everything will be made in America. Thanks for taking the time to do that!
Feedback:
Definitely bummed like others are that journaling lines won’t be on the back. I almost always need them, so I’m going to have to figure something else out because there won’t be enough larger journaling cards.
I haven’t really used the stickers too much, but I would if they were 1-31!
Thanks for all your great work!!!

Thank you Becky! Love that you have moved your mfg to the US!!! Way to Go!!! The Cherry is the first PL kit I purchased…can’t wait to get more!!!
Project Life has become an important part of my life! When I bought your first book, Project 365, I thought the concept was brilliant! Still do. It changed the way I scrapbooked, the way I used my camera, and the way I looked at life in general. Thank you for your continual inspiration.
However…I’m very disappointed about the days of the week stickers not being available. The colored and clear stickers are what makes the book work for me. It doesn’t make sense to me without them! I really hope that you will find a way to make the stickers available.
We’re a group of volunteers and opening a new scheme in our community. Your website offered us with valuable information to work on. You’ve
performed a formidable job and our whole neighborhood shall be grateful to you.
