Come hang out with me for a few minutes as I share with you 3 of my favorite ways to use 12×12 Cardstock. I’m not aiming to inspire you in creativity. I’m hoping to inspire you in SIMPLICITY. It’s the simple ideas that help us to reach our goals faster and, in this case – knock out some scrapbooking in record time.
Faster scrapbooking = more time to really live life.
…..
…..
Right now all of our Project Life 12×12 Cardstock (featured in the video) is a whopping 50% OFF for National Scrapbooking Day. This is the time to stock up. The sale goes through tomorrow – Wednesday – and applies only to U.S. sales on Amazon.com.
We have already sold out of Amber + Turquoise Collections, but there is some remaining inventory for the Cobalt Collection + the Clementine Collection. They’re regularly $7.99 for a 24-pack but right now they are marked down to $3.99 for a 24-pack. Holy smoking awesome deal. No need to enter a special code. The discount is already applied.
…..
Just to sweeten the 50% OFF deal even more, we’re adding a little more fun to this current promotion. Did you like that American Crafts paper trimmer I used in the video? Anyone who purchases any of our Project Life 12×12 Cardstock between now and Wednesday night at midnight PST will have a chance to win that paper trimmer for FREE. We will randomly select an Amazon customer and announce that winner here on Friday – so be sure to check back.
The Cutup Trimmer is easily portable; variety of blades to choose from; no need to worry about cutting yourself with the cartridges concealing the entire blade; cartridges are super easy to interchange; the cutting area is 13 inches, making it easy to cut 12×12 paper without removing the extra strip. Very nice.
…..
We won’t just be choosing just one random customer to win during this promotion. We’re also going to choose 5 additional customers to receive the plastics I featured in the video! That is, Design E Photo Pocket Pages + the 6×12 Page Protectors. Each of the 5 winners will receive BOTH packages!
For a chance to win the trimmer or the plastics, you don’t need to leave a comment here. We’ll check out Amazon purchases between now and Wednesday night at midnight PST and randomly choose winners that way.
…..
Keep it simple. Creative doesn’t have to = time-consuming.
Hope my video is a sweet reminder of this principle.

I love your video’s Becky! Thanks for all the time you have put into them to help us creative people out! I already put in an order…but looks like I need to make another one so that I can have a chance to win the American Crafts trimmer AND for a chance to win the other plastics you used in the video…that would be awesome….so, THANK YOU soooo much!!
Thanks for the video! Always love to see different ways to use the PL products. I’m off to place my order!
I just started project life last month and I’m intrigued to buy some cardstock – I love the clementine edition! Too bad the promotion is for US customers only
Thank you for sharing the awesome video
Fabulous uses of PL cardstock. You are always so inspiring.
Great ideas and wish we could order outside of the states – just a question – wouldn’t 50% off make the packs $3.50???
That was a typo on my part – sorry. The regular price is $7.99. The 50% off sale price is $3.99. I corrected that in the post.
What about us poor scrapbook ears who ordered when you first put up the card stock promo? Don’t we get a chance to be entered? Thanks!
I was thinking the same thing. I made my purchases when they first went on sale and stocked up on plastics the same day, pretty please?
Thirded!
Fourth that! :0)
Love the cards! Using the measurements you used, I’m guessing you could make about 48 cards with one pack of cardstock and then loads of little gift tag/lunch box cards with the leftovers. All for $3.99! You can’t even buy one card for that these days!
I’d also love to use punches with the scraps to punch out a cute shape from the coordinating inside pattern and glue it to the front for a little extra boost of pattern fun. Or a little punched shape on the back of the envelope or by the return address for a bit of coordination? Now the creative juices are flowing thanks to the video!
Also thinking about merging your two recent posts and letting my daughter use a pack of paper to make little cards for her friends this summer. Saving a pack for a rainy day/craft day. She goes to lots of birthday parties at this stage, and it’d be wonderful for her to have handmade birthday cards of her own that she could personalize quickly before various events.
Thanks again, Becky, for awesome products and a FANTASTIC cardstock sale. Hate to admit that I am placing my third order. I am new to the fabulous Clementine line. I have all the others, but after the first pack came today I can clearly see I need some more. Amazing papers! Thanks for the inspiring video!
Thank you, thank you for your additional ideas Julie! I just bought a cute scalloped circle punch and my DH asked what I was going to do with it… now I know exactly what I can do with it!
Bummer! I ordered all of the packs and plastics as soon as they stocked!
Not fair I just bought 2 packs of cardstock a couple of days ago
Loved the video. The cutter is just awesome!!
I just bought the clementine paper to go with my core kit! Such creative ideas. I have four little girls that would love to get their hands on some paper to scrapbook and make cards. I’ve always been intimidated by card making, but not anymore! Thank you!
I just got my order today. New album, variety pack plastic and 12X12 cardstock!
I had already ordered! Paper and plastic…better to buy in stock than wait though! Can’t wait for it to arrive!
Love the papers, and the vid. Ty 4PL and the chance to win.
I just received the three packs of Clementine Card stock (which I absolutely love) and wanted to let you know there is a typo on the packing. It says something like “Designed for coordination with AMBER core kit” when it should say Clementine Core Kit. This is so petty but I thought I would just let you know.
I cant see the video here in Germany
Yes! Unfortunately this is not the first time we can’t watch one of your videos because of the music used. Could you post it again without any music?
Here you go, posted again withOUT music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dieq7FHCsw

NICE…but I bought my cardstock before yesterday’s post…so I am not included in a chance to win the trimmer. Do I need to buy MORE paper…lol
Thank you Becky! Have the divided(4) page protectors, but hadn’t used them yet. Ordered the cardstock and can’t wait for it to get here!
Love that trimmer…so brilliant. I don’t use mine anymore because I sliced my hand between my thumb and pointer finger. OUCH!
thanks for sharing this video becky! totally needed this because I find it so time-consuming sometimes!
p/s: I can’t help it but I kept staring at your perfectly french-manicured nails XD
Thanks for the great ideas! I often stay up WAY too late scrapbooking after the kids go to bed and it’s nice to see some simple ideas. I can get stuff done….and sleep…yay!!!
Thanks for the wonderful inspiration, Becky! Love it!
I’m new to PL but I get great ideas by reading this blog and looking at the videos. I’m often at a stand still when it comes to creativity and knowing what to do. I haven’t yet ordered any 6×12 pages because I feel intimidated; could someone point me to some photos or videos of completed 6×12 pages, please?!
That video did it! I ordered a pack of each – well my husband did since Amazon account is in his name but hey – it’s almost mother’s day. I love the cardstock. YAY!
Have to say the most freeing thing has been to have a pack of gorgeous paper that was 3.99. Often I am waiting for the “perfect” occasion to use such great papers. And therefore, I have a lovely collection of papers sitting (often in original packaging) and not in scrapbooks, cards or any other usable format.
Well… I figured I could just buy a pack and PLAY. Gave myself permission to chop it up and CREATE. Not just for Project Life, but just for FUN.
I have had a blast chopping up what I like to think of as “fat quarters” (for my quilting friends). I made 6×6 blocks to go in the page protectors and a little mini book, and then 4 x 6 cards, 3 x 3 little lunch box/gift card tags, etc. It has been a blast to actually chop it up and get it actually doing something that is a JOY to others or for my own projects. LOVE the freedom – thanks for the sale. Harder to let go of perfectionism when the paper is more pricey
Thanks so much for the video! I love all your videos. I am not a crafty or scrapbook person…but because of you I am now doing both. I LOVE that you make it super simple! Keep those ideas coming!
Also….I know you’ve mentioned it before, but maybe you could answer in a feedback friday…what brand is your beloved ruler??
thanks again!!
