Keeping this short & sweet today. We’re hosting some of my family visiting from Maryland this week and I’m anxious to get back to them! : )
…..
Q: I loved that cabinet in your instagram, so I wondered since I live in Arizona where that store was located? It looked like it might have cool stuff.
A: Potato Barn. I have my eye on this for the play room but haven’t picked it up. I really like it, but I don’t think we NEED it.
…..
Q: I have a question regarding the baby kit. Will it be available as a complete kit including the binder and the journaling material? Or can the items be purchased individually?
A: The Project Life Baby Editions (we’ll be offering a neutral color palette, as well as an edition For Him and one For Her) will be offered just like the regular Project Life items. You will want to get a Core Kit + Binder + Big Pack of Photo Pocket Pages – sold separately as they are now. I’ll be sharing more about our baby items sometime in July.
…..
Q: How do you print from Camera+? Is there an online order/app? I just put the app on my phone but now I am trying to figure out how to print/purchase pics.
A: Any pictures that I take and/or edit with any app are all in the same category when it comes to printing. As long as I save these images as a .jpg on my computer, I then upload & print online (Persnickity, Costco, etc.) just like any other image.
…..
Q: Will your new School & Baby editions be available in digital elements?
A: That’s the plan.
…..
Q: I am looking for a new camera bag. I need to hold a small digital camera and a Cannon AE-1 film camera with a zoom lens. Any suggestions?
A: I just learned of a new bag that looks so awesome and I’ll be sharing that on my blog as early as next week or maybe the week after – in the form of a GIVEAWAY. : )
…..
Q: What is the price of the new Project Life Core Kit?
A: In the U.S. the price will remain $24.99 on Amazon – just as it was before. There’s a long story behind this simple answer that I will explain more about next week. But we are very pleased to keep the price where it has been.
…..
Q: I live in Canada. If I pre-ordered your Project Life Core Kit back in February. Will it be the old Core Kit packaging and organization – or the new?
A: New.
…..
Q: When will the new Project Life kits be available? Is there a way to pre-order them?
A: I have so much to share and hope to pull this update together by Monday so you can feel completely informed (as much as you need to be, without diving into every detail). But since it’s the end of June and we had hopes to see the Core Kits back in stock by now, I will tell you this: The product is not ready. We are in the “packout” phase, which means most of the product and packaging is produced … but still needs to be put together and delivered to Amazon (and our international distributors).
Pre-orders are available for customers outside the U.S. (more information HERE) – but not for customers in the U.S. because Amazon doesn’t do pre-orders on this type of product – unfortunately.
So we are very CLOSE – but it will be another week or two (ish). I will absolutely continue sharing updates as we get closer. If you want to be sure not to miss any information, choose one of the following and I’ll keep you in the loop, as well as share behind-the-scenes glimpses of what’s going on:

You certainly don’t have to do ALL of these. You just have options. : )

Thank you for the update!!!! I have become your stalker on FB. I check as much as I can… I am so excited to see & order all the new products. Thank you for everything. I am new to PL and can not wait to start!!!!
I, along with many others, am eagerly awaiting the new shipment of Project Life Core Kits to arrive on Amazon. But, rather than just waiting and waiting and being frustrated at not being able to order new Project Life products, I have been stocking up on the “plastics” – the page protectors in the different configurations, the dividers, and the empty albums themselves.
This has worked out great for me; the plastic items will be billed on this month’s credit card and paid for. Then, when the core kits come out and are ready for sale, I’ll order them – and get billed for them the following month. Makes it much easier on the budget to break up ordering the supplies I want in this way.
Of course, I’m still dying to order the new core kits, but at least I’ve got my plastics supplies all ordered, paid for and received. So when the core kits are ready, I will be too – and my husband won’t be overwhelmed by one HUGE credit card bill, as would be the case if I waited and ordered it all at once.
Oh, I have to add that I showed my husband a few Project Life videos and some of the products that I have already ordered and received. He loves the organization of it, and thinks it is a GREAT value price-wise. He’s ready for me to get rid of all of my misc. scrapbooking supplies, and just use Project Life products in their neat white boxes. I’m not quite ready to get rid of all my other supplies, but I know that Project Life is going to be my “main method” going forward in 2012 and beyond. Thanks Becky, for a well-organized, beautiful line of products that makes scrapbooking truly “do-able” for all of us – even those who are not very artistic or imaginitive. Love Project Life!
Thanks for the updates…I love to keep track of what’s going on…
Forgive me if someone has already asked this…but I figured you might know or know who would.
I had MANY pictures at Scrapbookpictures.com (sadly now closed)…for some reason I never found out that they were closing…and went to upload some pictures and although the website was still up (at that point)…they had stopped taking orders 3 days prior.
I just lost hard drives on 2 computers…ugh! Although much I have on external hard drives and dvd…not all. They have some stuff that isn’t anywhere else.
I wrote to Doug but never received a reply….
I had hoped someone would ‘get’ their pictures like some of the other companies have done when they went out of business.
Do you have any knowledge of if or where this might happen? Do you have a way to find out…?
I’m sure I’m not the only one out here…
Thanks so much….

I just wanted to let you know that I tried your mom’s suggestion for corn-on-the-cob, & it worked beautifully. She was so sweet to share that, so please pass on a big “Thank you” from me!
CAS
I tried it last night. It worked great and the corn was delicious. I thought it might be a little rubbery from the micro, but not at all.
Thanks for the update.
Living outside US I’m wondering if there will be a delay for us – say the Baby kit/the School kit will ready to purchase in September – will that also be the case outside US? Or will we have to wait 1-2 month?
I have never been to Potato Barn and just drove by it again today. Now I AM going to have to stop in. It looks like an adorable store inside. Thanks for the info.
Funny, I just spotted that same darling shelving unit at The Crowded House (Potato Barn’s sister store, but I think it has even better/more stuff), and am trying to convince myself I don’t need it (and since I don’t have a place for it, my husband hasn’t been convinced that we do need it)! LOVE IT!
Question for next Feedback Friday.. how did you come up with the name Project Life?
Thanks!
