reader idea: summer planning cards

We love hearing about – and especially seeing – what you do with our products. This recent email from Heather Wartenburg in Kyle, Texas was no exception:

Becky-

Kristi Fontenot (best friend/neighbor/partner in craft) and I came up with an idea to use Project Life cards to do our Summer Planning. We gathered our favorite ideas from Pinterest, local activities, movies, and our bigger summer vacation plans – and put them on individual 3×4 Project Life cards. The goal is to grab a card, snap pictures, do a little journaling, and slip them in your Photo Pocket Pages. I cannot tell you how much fun it was to make these up with the kids this afternoon. I’ll keep you posted as we start filling up Project Life pages with our cards and photos of our activities. We have the feeling this is going to be the best summer ever!

Thanks again for making such a versatile and easy to use system!

Want to show us what you’re doing with our products? We’d love to see! Email submissions@beckyhiggins.com any time. We love to see creative ideas like this project from Heather and Kristi, but we also love to see the simplest things as well. I’m a fan of simple. Plus – those of you who follow me on facebook and twitter know that I share a photo idea almost daily, and most of those are submitted by readers like you. Don’t be shy.  : )

PS – It really helps us when you are sure to include your first name + city + state/country in your email submission.

I love this idea! My three grandchildren are visiting for six weeks. We have made a list of things we want to do while they are here – but this idea makes it much more fun and also easy to keep dates and activities together for journal keeping. Thanks Heather and Kristi!

Oh and Kristi punched holes in hers and put them on a ring to keep them together. This weekend we are about to start pairing them up with pictures. We are so excited. Loving this.

Such a cute idea! I might do this for some of the projects I want to do… Will be an awesome way to organise them so I can have them out in front of me… Then again… It would be another project to add to the already huge list!
