My husband Jonathan was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in June 2011. He chose not to share his diagnosis so we did not have community support during that difficult, painful, scary time. I pray that all of your family can celebrate life together in the midst of this horrible struggle. You form a Pelotone for your Jonathan. As you may know since you spent some time as a Buckeye, Pelotonia has one goal and that is to end cancer. Our Jonathan’s struggle ended August 22, 2011. We have him with us even though he left the earth for his eternal life. He was with his brother in the surprising run as the interim head coach of the Arizona Wildcats football team and will be with him in his current football coaching position at Oklahoma, He was with our younger son in his college men’s soccer coaching position. He was with our older son in the pursuit of his dream career in basketball video development. He is with me in my retirement from the American Red Cross and mission related travel. God gives us life and continues that as life everlasting.
