I live in New Jersey…just across the water. My husband and son commute in everyday for school and work. We could see and smell the smoke…the jet fighters flying over my house. The mom who lived across the street from us….never made it home that day. So many people…just gone. God bless them all and their families….always remember

Our small company lost our CEO Christopher C. Newton that morning on Flight 77. Though we forged on for many years after, our company has been sold and we have scattered on to other jobs. But approximately 30 or more of us still stay connected by visits, dinners, traveling together, girls night out, via facebook, etc. I think we will forever be bonded over this event. My husband puts out the flag and a laminated 16×20 photo of Chris with a small votive candle every year on 9/11. We’ve been doing for 11 years and don’t intend to stop. My husband, a retired Firefighter and Fire Marshall is very emotional on this day. Blessings to all.

It’s an especially good day to think about others and not about ourselves. Never forget those who died or were injured, and the lives and country it has impacted.

My husband was there on that day. He worked in Wall Street for years. He was on the street under the Towers when the second plane hit. It is still hard for him to relate the events of that day without being moved to tears. It is true, we’ll never forget. Thank you.

Thanks Becky. It brought tears to my eyes of sadness for all of those who died that day. It was beautiful and truly uplifting.

    Appreciate you!

Thank you. I lost my daddy when I was 15. I am 57 and still call him daddy. So many children lost their mommy or daddy that day; never getting the opportunity to grow into the relationship and call them mom or dad.
