In case you missed the “vision” …
The Grid Cards are awesome for journaling without having colorful graphics on the card. Super nice when you want to keep things classic … or when you want to decorate the cards with your own custom style.
The White Cards are awesome for the same purpose, but when you don’t want lines. Get it? They’re white. That also means blank. Like – nothing on them at all. Plus they’re great for doodling, kids’ art, a simple/classic background for photos or memorabilia that are smaller than 4×6 or 3×4 … you get the idea.
***NOTE about the 4×6 White Cards: They are supposed to have 100 cards. Some of them do, but they’re a really tight fit and so some of them will actually have 95 cards so that they could fit more comfortably in the box. We were pretty frustrated to learn about this because we are perfectionists … but hopefully this isn’t a big deal to most. I will avoid more details but let me just say (if I’m being totally honest) that we had some frustrations with the USA production this year. I’m barely scratching the surface with that comment, but at the end of the day – we’re so very glad to finally have these products available, and you will LOVE the quality.
Both of these (Grid Cards + White Cards) are items that most Project Lifers will quickly learn they love to have handy. Actually, I always have a little box of Grid Cards in my bag. Sometimes my kids doodle on them during church or while we’re traveling – and what’s nice is then I can slip them right into their Project Life album at home! And … these cards are even awesome for a quick note or gift tag. Same for the Textured Cards.
The Textured Cards are coordinated cards that match each edition of Project Life. We literally got the cardstock from Bazzill Basics (a favorite paper supplier that most of you are familiar with) and then had the cards die-cut with rounded corners. You know – for Project Life. : ) Here’s a closer look at the textures to give you an idea. These specific colors are from the Cobalt set.
The idea behind the Textured Cards is that you have instant backgrounds to slip into your Photo Pocket Pages when you want to add tickets, receipts, and other random memorabilia that doesn’t perfectly “fill” a 3×4 or 4×6 pocket.
PS – Kinda really big news: The Turquoise Core Kit + Clementine Core Kit are both in stock again as well! Hallelujah! Cherry is still available and Cobalt + Amber aren’t too far behind … another 2-3 weeks we think. I’ll keep you posted.

Got my order in for both the 3×4 and 4×6 Cobalt textured cards, as well as some of the plastics I’ve been wanting to add to my album. The only thing I couldn’t get was one of the organizational trays to switch my supplies from the box to the tray. All in all, I’m a happy scrapper!!
The re-stocking of Organizational Trays should be late October, as indicated on the Products page. All in all, I’m happy that you’re happy. : )

We have the 12×12 Designer Paper on hold for right now (the editions that are sold out) BECAUSE of sooooo much other product that is currently in production. We can’t do it all at one time so we prioritized the new stuff for now.

I have to share with you that I took some of my extra journaling cards from previous years to work (I teach 4th grade) and had my kids write their reading goal for the month of September on them and they LOVED it! thanks for such great products!

Oooooooo, love these! Bazzill is the best and this will make my life so much easier. I’ve spent a LOT of time cutting the matching kit paper to size to use as backgrounds.
Love the cards. I just ordered the Cherry album, core and pages so they should arrive next week. With a new puppy in the house I am looking forward to taking photos weekly and having an easy way to capture it all. I will still do ‘regular’ scrapbooks for trips, etc, but now I will have a way to capture life. I so wish I had found you earlier!

Question-will these be part of the “regular” line? I seem to recall back in your discussion about US printers vs overseas that you weren’t sure if you’d be able to carry these all the time…I hope I was just imagining that! Can’t wait to get my kit for next year so I’m really hoping the 2013 editions, the childhood, and baby editions will also have the Bazzil cards available! Genius idea!!!!
Grid Cards are absolutely a STAPLE with a proven track record. The White Cards + Textured Cards are available now for the first time ever, so we really have to see how they do … and that will determine if we keep them in production and add them to the line-up for the new editions coming out.
Ok, so I’ll go do my part and purchase a couple of boxes for my cobalt PL!!!
I haven’t ever ordered any PL Grid Line cards. Are they smooth to write on? Are they easy to write on? Are they slick were it is hard to find pens to write on them without the ink going on smoothly?
The Grid Line cards were designed for journaling. I’ve never had a problem with ink smearing or anything. They’re great!

Q: I see in the cobalt sample that there is white included. Do all the kits have some white cards in them? Not sure if I need to order a whole box of white if I’m ordering 3 others (cobalt, turquoise, cherry).

Great question Marie. Two comments:
1. Yes, there is White in every box of Textured Cards. The White is custom-matched for each edition’s set of colors, so they’re not exactly the same from edition to edition.
2. Keep in mind that these are Textured Cards. There are a variety of textures in each box, but for the most part – don’t count on smooth white cards. If you want a smooth texture, those can be found in the little boxes of White Cards.

I talked my hubby into getting me the Clementine kit and matching 3×4 cards, plus 3×4 cards for my 2012 Cobalt kit. I wanted the 4×6 cards for both as well but I will have to wait on those. All of this PL stuff this summer/fall is making my dreams come true as far as my memory-keeping efforts are concerned. I can’t wait to get this stuff on Tuesday! I don’t even have a true purpose for the Clementine kit yet lol but don’t tell my hubby. I wanted to grab it while it was available.
Please make these cardstock products for the new kits!! I don’t even have them yet but I can tell they are going to be amazing

Just a suggestion…I’d love to see the matching Bazzill card stock in a 6 x 12 size for all the PL editions. Or even a list of the colors that match and you used for these cards, as I would buy them and cut them down if I needed/wanted something a bit more in my albums.
