Hello, hello! It’s October – yay!
I love October. I’ve always loved October. I celebrate the birthdays of many that I love dearly – including my husband David, my mom, David’s mom, two of my brothers, several other family members, and a handful of friends. And I happen to turn a year older this month as well.

I also love October because this is when we really see signs of cooler temperatures (I’m a fan of that, particularly because we live in the desert). Most of my life, I always found a way to breathe in that cool, crisp autumn air around this time and there are few things I love more in life than chilly Fall air.
Three years ago, this special month became even more significant to us. In October 2009 I announced that I was launching Becky Higgins LLC and that’s when everyone first heard about Project Life. And ohhh, what a journey it’s been. Plenty of stumbling, plenty of growing, plenty of having to figure out what the heck we were doing, plenty of being blown away by your kindness and loyalty. This week, we’re all about plenty of CELEBRATING!

{ 1 – social media blitz }
You know how much I appreciate the love. For real. We are so delighted with every email or comment we get, telling us about how Project Life is making a huge difference for you – not only in your memory-keeping efforts, but because the process of documenting the everyday is really having an impact on how you try to cultivate a great life. And we so love hearing about how you tell your friends too.
This week we are going to REWARD you for sharing the love and telling your friends about Project Life. Below are 5 graphics. Choose one that you think best suits your style and post it on faceboook or twitter or instagram or pinterest. The more places you post it, the more chances you’ll have to win of course. On facebook specifically, I have shared each of the graphics individually on my facebook page. If you simply SHARE one of these graphics, we can track all of you who SHARE. That’s probably the simplest way for most of you to be entered for a chance to win.
We are going to keep our eye on these 4 social media platforms all week. Toward the end of the week we will randomly select one winner (someone who has posted one of these graphics) for EACH social media platform. That means FOUR winners. Each winner will get $50 worth of Project Life products. And not stuff that we choose. Nope. If you’re a winner, you get to choose what you want to receive, totaling $50.
Simply choose the graphic you like, save it (for most of you this simply means right-clicking on the image + saving it to the desktop), then add it to your facebook wall, twitter feed, instagram images, or pinterest board. Trust me – we’ll be watching.

{ 2 – clearance item }
What’s a birthday party without putting something on sale, right?? Okay, so most of you know about our newest plastics – Designs H, I, J. You can purchase them separately, but what seems to be the hottest idea is to pick up the Small Variety Pack 1 so that you can get a sampling of each, including the beloved Design G as well. When this variety pack arrived not too long ago, we found out (unfortunately) that all the Design G pages were “defective” – meaning, the pocket sizes are slightly “off” and not exactly to the millimeter that we want. Still totally usable of course, but not perfect by our standards. So we knocked the price down before they even went on sale, being completely transparent about the issue.
It should be noted that a regular pack of (12) Design G Photo Pocket Pages is NOT affected. The Design G pages in those packages are perfect.
In the meantime, of course we’ve re-ordered the variety packs with the corrected Design G and those are almost here again!! We want to blow through what’s currently left in stock now, so that when the new packs show up there’s no confusion. Make sense? (I’m being completely transparent here.)
Bottom line: The Small Variety Pack 1 (regularly priced at $6.99) is a crazy-low price of $2.99 on Amazon all birthday week long! In other words, we are pretty much giving them away. DO NOT miss this chance to get some of our most popular Photo Pocket Page designs at a ridiculously low price. When they’re gone, they’re gone. When they’re back in stock soon and no longer have that little issue with Design G, they’ll be at the regular $6.99 price. Just sayin’.

Speaking of being transparent – I will point out that Amazon (not us) made this item an “add-on item”, which is part of a new program for Amazon so they don’t lose a ton of money on shipping.
