In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, this Friday is BLACK FRIDAY. It’s pretty much the only day we put stuff on sale. So, friends. Don’t miss this. Is this for Us orders only? Canada has quite a few Black Friday sales, and we buy from both sides of the border. Would be great if the sale applied to us too.

maybe if you are close to the border you can find somewhere to get it shipped in the US and go pick it up (this may be what I’ll do).

pretty frustrated about that myself. this will be my third year dong this and now i have to pay twice as much as 2 years ago to get half the stuff…
That’s my question too, Monica! I check the Project Life products and prices on Amazon regularly, and it appears that the prices have been increased very recently. Strange that it was just prior to the 20% discount…just saying.
I’ve decided not to buy anything for this reason. Don’t offer a sale after you’ve raised prices by $5 whole dollars. That is not a sale. A sale is when you know the Ipad is $499 and on Black Friday it’s $458. That’s a sale.
When the stuff sells out, will it be available again (later)?

Well I have everything in my cart but no sale prices at it is 12:15 EST I just know if I go to sleep they will be sold out in the morning – urg.
I just ordered and the 20% was not deducted from total and I am in a central time zone. So it is 12:20am on the east coast. Is there any way I can still get the discount?
If it ends up being the same as last year, the sale prices won’t hit until the Pacific Time Zone, and I don’t remember if those that had already ordered were able to get the discount or not.

I’m so disappointed in that Amazon has increased core kits by $5.00 before discount. That just doesn’t seem right to me.
I agree. I just ordered one for 24.99 last week. When I heard about the discount I planned to buy 2 more figuring they would be around $20 each. Not so. At 29.99 the discount just brings the price to what I’ve been paying all along. That’s not a discount to me if you raise prices right before the sale.
Just got found Project Life and was so psyched for this sale…set my alarm and am actually up and now can’t see any sale prices either….what gives!! i wish i knew how long to give it or whether it is going to work anytime soon..We don’t need to enter a code for the discount do we?

This is really frustrating! Not coming up as sale prices and should not be having to set an alarm to purchase. Would think that this would have been communicated better and planned out. Very disappointed
I think it’s important for everyone to realize that this is an Amazon issue, and not a Becky issue.
All the complaints about having to set alarms and staying up late are just silly — it’s lovely of Becky to even offer a discount. It’s not something that she has to do after all.
If you’re really worried about getting things, my guess is it’ll go live at midnight PST, so put everything you want in your cart (I did this days ago), set an alarm, and you’ll be back to sleep in probably under 5 minutes.
So is the core kits going from 24.99 to 29.99 a week before the sale also an amazon issue? Because that item reflects no savings at all since I just ordered a core kit for 24.99 recently and now today they are 29.99. At 20% off its the same as I paid a week ago.
I read the above posts, and am going to load up the cart with 2 binders and 2 core kits (waiting for the Seafoam kits later), and then check back after midnight (I am in PST zone) and hope the discount is posted then.

I’m on west coast and it’s after midnight here and still no 20% discount on amazon. Don’t want to wait because I fear what I want will sell out but know if I place the order now I’ll miss out on 20% off. Wonder why there is no coupon code. Amazon seems to have dropped the ball on this one.
We had everything set up as it should be but the sale would not go live when we were expecting. The system is telling us 8am Eastern/5am Pacific.

The sale is now working on Amazon. The discount does not show until you go to your cart and put in all your checkout information. After form of payment, you are taken to a confirmation page and then the Black Friday Promo shows.
I am still not seeing this. I am from Canada but shipping to a US address. Would this be an issue?

Very strange that the discount doesn’t show up until it is in your cart and you proceed to checkout but once you get there you will see your discount before you actually pay. Good luck. I can’t wait to get my goodies.

I kept checking and got the discount mid-morning, but that is because I slept in! I am in Nevada (PST), so I have two more “kits” coming. Might go back and get the Cherry core kit, even though the binder isn’t available right now. I love that kit! Thanks, Becky, for the discount. It makes it a bit easier to pass this stuff by my husband. Now to get my hands on some of that Seafoam!

I have a big concern about the ‘no re-order’ mention in your post above…I just ordered a Cherry edition Core kit week before last for use in 2013. It was my assumption that the 12×12 Cherry designer paper pack would be back in stock soon. Is it not going to be available ever again? I sure hope it will
