Last Wednesday I announced a design contest and within just a week we had oodles of submissions! Thank you very, very much to all who took a shot and submitted your proposed holiday card design. It has been so fun to see all the talent and various styles.
And now – the fun part for YOU! We have narrowed the selection down to 25 finalists and we invite you to VOTE on your favorite(s)! This is how it works, and what you need to know:
1. Log in to your facebook page. Be sure to like Becky Higgins LLC so that you can vote.
2. Look in PHOTOS, for the photo album called Holiday Card Finalists 2012.
3. Simply like the design(s) you would want to send to your family + friends. You can like one, or if it’s too hard to choose – you can like several.
4. Only likes will be counted – not comments.
5. Voting closes Monday (Nov. 12) night @ midnight PST.
6. Encourage your family + friends to vote too. (They will need to like my page in order to cast their vote)
7. The Top 10 most-liked designs will be made available as free downloads on my site next Friday (Nov. 16) and then you can all rock & roll on your greetings! All of the finalists that don’t make the Top 10 will not be made available on my website – so be sure to vote!
UGH…don’t do facebook (yuck) is there any other way to see them and vote??

I do not believe in FB for myself for an extremely serious reason from my past, but would love to be able to have my favorite counted!

On a side not Becky you album spines – will there be designs for the new additions? I’m updating my albums to tie in with my decor and I’m thinking seafoam will be perfect for the album spines?

It’s a bummer right? I definitely would have bought the cobalt core kit if I had known the price was about t jump up.
At the same time, Becky is running a business and while she has done an amazing job keeping us all in the loop, she doesn’t have to. I mean I don’t get a heads up from Target when they’re going to raise the price on something;)
But yeah, I do wish I had known — oh well! Just have to save up am extra $5 now…
She doesn’t need to explain anything to us. You either think it is worth the price it is selling at or you don’t. I do so I’ll buy more! CAN NOT WAIT for the Baby kits!!

Concerned about the shapes of the photo boxes on some of these card designs. Will we be able to easily insert out photos into some of the shapes? What kind of file will you be providing us to download once the winners are picked? Totally LOVED the designs, but couldn’t help, but to wonder HOW we can customize them with our own photos instead. (I guess it is the former – pre-children – graphic designer in me that is planning ahead…)

Hi guys! I’m sorry to those of you who are not able to vote. Obviously we realize that not everyone is on facebook. For the purpose of gathering votes from a large pool of people, and looking into our options, it really made the most sense to just set up an album in facebook. Whether it’s open to folks on facebook or somewhere else, the votes will be representative of which designs are the favorites so that we can get our Top 10. In the end, EVERYone will get 10 designs to choose from and they’re FREE. : )
