This is it. The final of our 12 Videos of Christmas 2012. And this video submission comes with high sentimental value as it focuses on the everyday. The stuff of life. The big stuff and the little stuff.
Suzanne O’Brien of Northern California wrote: “2011 was my second year doing Project Life – 365 style. I also did it in 2009; I like to skip years as it gives me a break and allows some of the changes in our lives to shine through. I created this slideshow at the end of the year to capture some highlights from the year and remind me of the awesomeness that is taking a picture a day! I wasn’t going to submit because it was inspired by you already (so not really a new idea!). I realize this is nothing fancy but then I figured you are always looking for real life simple things so, here you go!”
Equipment Used: Most images shot with Canon 7D, slideshow created with iMovie.

What a Great Video. I would love to be able to do something like this. Great work and very inspiring. Thanks for submitting it.
Have a great New Year’s Eve.

I so loved this video very much. It brought tears of joy because it reminds me how very important it is to document those small details in our lives.
Ditto! I felt the exact same way watching this video.
Absolutely LOVED this video! Going to figure out how to make one for my family today! Thanks and Happy New Year!
Wow, this one really touched my heart…going to watch it again!
Happy New Year everyone!

Best of the 12! Makes me wish I was able to have PL when my kids were younger. The one with the Stormtrooper sleeping with your son or the Pokemon (I think) helping with homework! Yeah, that was my kids all the time. They are teenagers now with one not living at home. I have been doing PL for several years, but it’s not what you have and never will be. I encourage those with little ones – TAKE THE TIME AND DOCUMENT WHAT THEY DO AND WHAT THEY SAY! What a treasure you will have!!
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Great job and thanks for sharing with us!!
Love this! So inspiring!
Inspiring! Love it!
WOW! Yup, that is all I can say. WOW!!!!
My favorite one of the bunch! I was moved and touched and I don’t even know your family! Awesome!
This one was so moving to me!! Definitely a great inspiration and motivation for New Year’s Eve, as we get ready to kick off 2013 and another year of documenting! Thanks for this video and thank you, Becky, for your terrific products that help us document!!
This video just reinforces what Project Life is all about. Will be starting my fifth year of project life tomorrow. I loved this video. It was my favorite. Becky you saved the best for last. Happy New Years to everyone!
What a wonderful childhood your children are getting to live and eperience!
Keep documenting – they will so appreciate it as they grow older!
Great job!
You definitely saved the best for last. This one really touched my heart, I have a feeling I’ll be watching this one again & again. It made my heart smile. Happy New Year and hears to another year of Project Life and all the memories it helps us preserve!
Love this Suzanne! I didn’t realize you did PL. Even more of a reason to get together with our cameras (and families) in 2013
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful!!! Makes me think I should do another 365, as 2009 was my last year for it too
Amazing!!!!
So amazing! Thanks for sharing! Love her idea of skipping a year in doing PL. I had thought about doing this and now she just cemented the idea for me.
my favorite video!
Oh, wow. This was soooo good, she’s inspired me in so many ways. I know of all the photos it’s odd that the one that stood out to me the most was the one where she was pouring the laundry soap into the washer, but I think it was cool to see her “in action.” I try to document myself in my family’s PL, but if I were doing laundry I might just take a photo of the washer or the pile of laundry; somehow her hand pouring the soap is much more powerful. I need to set up my tripod and use the timer more often. She’s definitely got a great eye for taking photos and for putting it all together. Lucky kids to have a mom documenting their childhoods in such a way!
I noticed that one too ~ maybe it means we spend too much time in the washroom!
But I think you are right a timer would be great because I have virtually none of myself in action doing anything. It’s always inspiring to see good art from others because it shows things from another point of view.
Best. Video. Ever. Best of all the last, three years combined. Thank you.
P.S. I teared up.
This really made me tear up…what beautiful pictures and an inspiration to spend more time capturing the everyday moments. Beautiful!
Absolutely loved this, what beautiful photography too! What a treasure of big and small moments, thank you!
I love that it was all still shots that she used in her PL. What a great way to document this. I think I may do this and share it with my family now.
Great choice Becky!
Absolute fav!!!
What an amazing video. I’m SO glad you shared it!
I just burst into tears at the end! Wow! I’m single, and w/o kids and this was the most beautiful glimps itno a beautiful family. Thanks a million.
This video was completely inspirational and heartwarming! Thanks for sharing!!
I was thinking to make something like that – to use somehow most of the pictures of the Project 365 which I took within the year but had not time to scrapbook them and make the full Project Life. So, this video was a great-great inspiration for me… And this is what I created
