learning how to do digital Project Life

Thursday, January 3rd, 2013

One of the beautiful aspects of Project Life is that we offer the designs and products in a few different formats so that you can choose what works for you. Some people want the physical products to use with their physically printed photos. Some people want to create digital layouts in Photoshop. Some people want to do a photo book on Shutterfly, resulting in a printed and bound book.

Choose what works best for your project(s).

I know a lot of you are intrigued by the digital offering of Project Life. The idea of creating scrapbook pages on your computer appeals to you. You’re curious, but you really don’t know where to begin or how it all works. You know there are online classes but even that feels overwhelming because which one should you choose, right?

I am really excited to share with you that Jessica Sprague has developed a class specifically for this audience: Digital Project Life in Photoshop. It’s for BEGINNERS. Jessica is a fantastic teacher with loads of experience, so I am personally recommending that you give this a try.

Class starts this Monday, January 7. Right now it’s 20% off, making it just $18.40 for the one-week course. Hello! Think of it: In just one week you can gain complete confidence in your ability to do digital Project Life – even if you’ve never done anything like this before!

…..

By now you should definitely know about our new digital site – ACDigitals.com. That’s home to all digital products from American Crafts the brands under their umbrella – including Amy Tangerine, Crate Paper, Pebbles, and of course Project Life. Over the holidays we released the Baby Editions, Seafoam Edition, Olive Edition, and Childhood Editions of Project Life. (Just in case you missed any of that.)

As for the not-so-new stuff? The Cherry, Amber, Turquoise, Clementine, and Cobalt Editions of Project Life are all coming to ACDigitals.com this coming Monday! Exciting stuff. Just wanted you to know when and where to find those. If you’re brand-new to Project Life and unfamiliar with those editions, you can get a glimpse of them all right here.

And even though this is a digital-focused post, it’s inevitable that someone will ask: What about the physical product? When are we going to see the Childhood Mini Kits + Olive Edition + Seafoam Edition?  : )  The products are physically on trucks and in transit to Amazon right now. We don’t have a firm date, but we are getting very close and still hopeful that we’ll see this stuff show up by next weekend. Everyone cross your fingers.

…..
