As usual with the monthly offering of inspiration, I will share just one glimpse from each of their respective Project Life albums. And then – whenever and wherever you want to see more – just click on the person’s name and it will take you to their blog where they each share more details, more information, more pages, more examples of how they’re using Project Life as a memory-keeping system. If someone’s style “speaks” to you, you’ll want to check out the additional pictures and explanations on her blog.
We completely adore how each person’s style is so unique – in photography, with their journaling, and how they bring it all together in their albums. As you see how others are doing Project Life, our hope is that you will feel an increased desire to document life, and that you’ll be more in tune with what your own personal style is. No matter how you slice it, it’s all good. It’s your story. This post is loaded with eye candy. We don’t mean to overwhelm you. We simply want you to be inspired in your own memory-keeping efforts.
Please remember that while many of the Creative Team members use various products to embellish, keep in mind that you really can create an entire scrapbook with the 3 core Project Life components and nothing else. Album + Project Life Core Kit + Big Pack of Photo Pocket Pages. That’s it. I love and celebrate all sorts of memory-keeping styles, but I personally strive to promote simplicity, especially to those of you who are like me and need to keep it simple or it won’t get done. If you’re looking for inspiration on using Project Life in the most simple format ever (ex – no extra embellishing) – check out the samples albums on our Inspiration page.
And now … enjoy this month’s dose of Creative Team inspiration. They’re pretty remarkable.

Loving them all…the colors, the little extra’s, very nice!
Always love all the inspiration! Just makes me want to work on my pages more and more! Thank you!
Just goes to show you that there are many styles and no “right way”. I appreciate your sharing these inspirations…Now I’m off to work on my PL.
It is so cool to see all of the different ways people are using Project Life, it is inspiring me to take more photos and I am proud to say I am actually getting them into albums!
Becky,
I have completed one and a half PL albums. That half an album stalled this past summer when my husband had some health problems and I had to step up and go back to work as a teacher. Anyone who has we very known a teacher knows that the work goes well beyond the workday. That, combined with trying to juggle the everyday demands of the family, my PL album sadly fell by the wayside.
Yesterday I got out the album. I had printed photos from the remainder of the year and thought I would just stick them in. As I looked though the pages of the album I could not help but smile. That project makes me so happy….even half full. The happiness I felt was motivation to find the time to complete. I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying this project. One of the most magical parts of PL is that even minimal effort turns out so completely awesome. So as I am sticking in photos and a note card here and there, not only am I preserving my family memories, but preserving them in a way that visually is completely satisfying. Thank you for creating this project and continuing to develop it and move it forward. I love it and cannot imagine not doing it. I may fall behind, but will not abandon. Thank you.
Awesome, my favourite post of the month! Thank you ladies for sharing all your inspiration with us! I’m enjoying going through and looking at everyone’s hard work, and it really inspires me to spend some more time working on my own pages!
Where can I get the page protectors used by Maggie Holmes? The link to her site doesn’t show any Project Life pictures.
Looks like they are studio calico ones. I have seen similar from other brands including sn@p. I have heard that the SC ones don’t fit as well into the 3 ring binders as the sn@p ones, but I may be wrong.
What incredibly talented women you have on the team this year! My favorite post each month
I love doing PL, but sometimes have difficulty getting my photos together. With all the recent camera apps, filters, etc. I’m struggling to achieve a good workflow. When I sit down to edit/order prints and sift through 50-60 photos in a typical month, I find that I’m using 3 different camera apps, a few different filters, some with frames, some without, some square, some not, etc. Add to that the photos I import from my husband’s phone and it becomes time consuming. I’ve decided that in order to simplify, I need to choose just one camera app, one filter and leave the photos at 3×4 (the native aspect ratio for iPhone) or crop to square and that’s it. These are just the everyday candid snapshots and I really don’t want to spend a lot of extra time on them, but I do want my photos to look somewhat consistent.
So I’m wondering, do any of you have a “method” to achieve a cohesive look in your albums? Or do you just cull, edit & crop randomly? Also, do you find it easier to print at home or do you order from a printer? Any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you ladies- keep up the lovely work!
I typically only use two photo apps for my iPhone pictures. Usually VSCOCam and then of course Instagram. I import them all to my computer using iPhoto and then sort through them that way. I pretty much know right then which ones will make it into my PL for the week and which ones won’t. I generally use three photo sizes, although once I am working on a layout I may cut them down a bit. I use 3×4, 4×6, and 2.5×2.5.
As for printing, I have found that printing at home makes a huge difference for me. It takes the pressure off to get them sized, uploaded, and sent to the lab and I don’t have to make a trip to town to pick them up, so it saves a ton of time.
Catching my eye: Tracy Larson’s minimalist page photos + words (love it!!!); Rhonda Mason’s amazing photos + words (love it!!!!); Elise always inspires; and Jennifer Hignite’s weekly titles are amazing as well as all her work! Thanks for sharing your work ladies.
Waow ! Thanks for sharing your work, Ladies, these pages are just amazing and really inspirational.

You made some really good points there. I looked on the net for more information about the
