giveaway: silhouette class

Tuesday, March 13th, 2012

My friend Kerri Bradford (who is also the designer behind the popular Turquoise Edition of Project Life), was just announced as a new teacher at JessicaSprague.com! She is launching what looks to be a very cool class that I know many of you will be interested in.

You just got your new baby . . . *ehem*. . .  Silhouette. She’s all hooked up and now you’re wondering how to get to know her better. Join Kerri Bradford as she leads you through the ins and outs of what you see in Silhouette Studio. She’ll give you a basic overview of how to use the library for Silhouette shapes + shapes from outside sources as well as show you the basic tools and menus to help you get on your way to making your first cuts!

You can see the details and learn all about Silhouette: Getting to Know You by checking out THE CLASS. And … you can have a chance to win a FREE SEAT in Kerri’s class by simply leaving your first name, city, and state/country right here in the comments. A lucky, randomly-selected winner will be announced in my next blog post!

Just because we’re amidst the 12 Videos of Christmas doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten all about giveaways, right?

Kerri Bradford. Heard of her? She’s a talented designer with a big heart and a great sense of humor. I’ve had the privilege of working with her here & there in past years. And here’s something I betcha didn’t know: Kerri is the main designer behind the Turquoise Edition of Project Life. Yep – she’s that good.  : )

So anyway — Kerri has designed this really cool Through-the-Year display. Here’s the Christmas version:

So cute. The pieces are “adhered” to a 7gypsies tray* with a little snippet of magnet on both sides so you can easily swap out the pieces. Something you can display all year long so that it’s a year-round decoration in your home. It’s not a “monthly” kit but rather holiday/seasonal. You can read more about it on Kerri’s blog. If you want updates of when each of her new kits comes out, follow her blog.

*Added note: Here are a couple links to where you can find the 7gypsies tray — 7Gypsies and Simon Says Stamps. If you have an Archivers near you, I think they carry them as well.

Check out a couple of her other designs for recent holidays — Thanksgiving (Gratitude) and Halloween:

Kerri is giving away an entire years’ worth of kits (retail value over $100) to one of my readers. And because this is a digital kit, anyone living anywhere in the world can enter for a chance to win. The winner just needs to purchase their own tray.

Get ready, get set … leave a comment for that chance to win! (Just need your first name & where you live.)
