I was born + raised in Kentucky to an Army family. Never know quite how to answer the raised question because we moved so much! Georgia, Kansas, New Jersey, Germany, Kansas again, Rhode Island and finally Virginia. All before I was 14.
My family now consists of my husband Jim and our three-year-old twins Maggie and Charlotte. Oh, I can't forget Chewie, our rescue mutt.
The way I use Project Life is weekly documentation of our family. I play with some of my images in Photoshop to add type and digital elements, then print to combine with Project Life products and some scrapbooking supplies.
To me, documenting life is a creative outlet as much as it a way to preserve memories. I love to picture grandchildren looking at it all.
Three things on my bucket list are:
- Share my joy of traveling with the girls one day. Can't wait to take them to London, my favorite city.
- Put my house back together and replace my living room carpet once we're past the toddler breaking/spilling/coloring stage. I'm serious!
- Figure out how to use my sewing machine.
Cultivating a good life means: love what you love. I'm a big fan of completely owning and embracing your passions and interests.
