I was born + raised an Army brat so this question is always a bit complicated to answer. ;) I was born in Germany, one of the many Army bases we were stationed at. My Dad retired in Huntsville, Alabama and that is where I spent the majority of my childhood. I now reside in the great state of Tennessee.
My family now consists of my awesome, supportive husband, Michael, my big-hearted, sweet daughter, Caylin (7) and my wild and Batman loving son Jack (2).
The way I use Project Life is as a no-stress, super flexible, fun and easy way to document my everyday life.
To me, documenting life is capturing both those big moments, but making sure not to forget those smaller, every day moments. It's those every day moments that, when I look back at my life, I truly cherish. I think it's because it's those simple moments that often slip through the cracks of our memory and they are so hard to get back. It's those moments that touch our hearts the most and it's those moments that I love to document the most.
Three things on my bucket list are:
- Visit New York City at Christmastime
- Design a line of stationery & gift wrap that's sold in Target
- Own some property & land in the mountains of East Tennessee
Cultivating a good life means: living a life that shines with Christ's love. It's about living a life that sees the goodness in everything. It might be hard to find at times, but it's there.
