I was born + raised Nebraska but moved to Utah at 3 years old and was raised there. I was never a fan of the cold weather and snow so I am grateful to now call home Arizona where I can steer clear of parkas and snow boots!
My family now consists of my sweet husband that just finished law school and our 5 kiddos. They range in age from 11 years to 18 months and are literally the joy of my life!
The way I use Project Life is to organize and display all of the extra photos I take that I can't get around to when it comes to a traditional scrapbooking format. I still love to do artsy and embellished pages but I hate to see all the rest of the photos sitting in cyber space never to be seen again. This way those photos and memories can also be recorded and enjoyed and I love that!
To me, documenting life is a beautiful thing! It is something I literally can't live without! It kills me inside to see my children grow up so quickly and I ache with a desire to remember every precious little thing they do and the ways in which they touch my life. The process of documenting all of that is just a part of who I am.
Three things on my bucket list are: This may sound cheesy but I really don't have a bucket list. My biggest desire is to be a good wife and mom and to live each day being a happy and positive person. Sure I would love to travel the world someday but it's just not my focus right now.
Cultivating a good life means: all of the above plus being able to express myself creatively. I find so much fulfillment in not only scrapbooking, but photography and decorating. Living a creative life while also being at home raising my children is a life that I find makes me very content.
